This is wonderful & amazing Temple...this is very interesting compare to other temple because this ground in many types of different temple... like bhagvat pathshala, madhavbaag temple,god related shop, balshala etc.........One problem.....this place not photography.....only the prayer of God

Pandurang Shastri Athavale also known as Dadaji who founded the Swadhyaya Parivar Swadhyaya is a self-study process based on the Bhagavad Gita. Dadaji used to go Madhavbaug every sunday to give pravachan and that tradition is been carried till date.

We lived at Ahmedabad,my wife belongs from Mumbai near Madhavbaug,so whenever we visit at Mumbai we always visit at Madhavbaug also Goldeval temple.Jai Shree Krishna.

Its the place where Swadhyay Parivar gathers to hear Pujya Dada (Pandurang Shashrti Athavley). This place is also known as Gangotri.

Temple of Tranquility - excellent darshan of Shri Laxmi Narayan ji. Pathshala and Gaushala are adjoining the temple. Behind temple is an area still frozen in time. Worth a visit

BEAUTIFUL LAXMI NARAYAN temple. Healthy desi gaays. Loving devotees can be seen waiting for darshan.

The only minus point is that the traffic is horrible and it takes time and patience to get there even if you starting the journey from South Mumbai. However this is applicable for pretty much any place in Mumbai.The temple is peaceful and rather spacious once you get inside the premises.There are half a dozen of shops selling religious and non religious stuff and I must say prices are very very decent. I suggest to buy a box of agarbatti and some wooden stands ( the stands I bought cost just 15Rs and they look very pretty)Then comes my favorite part of my visit to the Temple which is feeding the cows. There are some pretty impressive bulls that will happily eat the grass given to them. And finally no matter what religion ( or no religion ) one follows I believe receiving blessings and sending gratitude to the universe is always a good thing. So if you have 15-20 extra minutes of the day and you nearby this place should definitely visit.Please note the Temple is closed between 12:00-16:00hrs.
