A small, yet tranquil temple of lord Mangesh situated close to Andheri subway and located besides Saraswati baug colony. I happened to visit it on Kartik parnima which signifies the end of Diwali month. On this day, the temple is decorated with many diyas along with rangoli. Since this is Shiva temple, we only have 3/4th of parikrama. Adjacent deep stambh also had colourful lights in it. Overall, a memorable experience! :)

More than 100 years old Lord Shiva temple . About 15 mints walk from Jogeshwari Rly station.It also has Lord RAMA, HANUMAN, GANESH, PARVATI, BHAIRAV within same campus.

Rameshwaram Temple is located in Rameshwaram island on Tamil Nadu. This is the southernmost Jyotirlinga. A legend in Ramayana narrates that, Rama committed a sin of killing a Brahmin during his war against the Demon King Ravana. He prayed to Lord Shiva to absolve him of his sin. He asked Hanuman to bring a lingam from the Himalayas. Sita made a small lingam out of the sand and started praying when Hanumana was late.

Great experience. IRCON International, a Railway Ministrys company had donated grant under CSR for converting flower offering at the temple into manure. The inauguration of this project was on this day. The temple is very clean and the Trustees of the temple were interested to keep it clean and beautiful. I was Chairperson of CSR Committee and felt very happy and satisfied for this grant. This grant is given to Keshav Srushti for their project helping Temples to convert flower offerings to manure. Keshav Srushti is doing wonderful work in this area too.
