It is situated in Colaba on the 3rd floor of another hotel, with the rooftop cafe on 4th floor. Just 200-300 metres away from Gateway of India. Rooms are neat and clean but small in size with very small washrooms. Although the view from room is great but with limited amenities. The facade of the building isn’t very great but this particular hotel has a nice cozy ambience once you’re on the floor.

Amazing location, very clean, cooperative staff, room is very Clean, interview is also very nice, please mention sea view location at the time of booking, otherwise for sea location room they charge rs 500+ tax extra

I liked the cleanliness of the room and corridor.Its good to go up to the restaurant for lunch / dinner as the place is nice and offers a good view .They are open to suggestions and very helpful in their approach.I personally liked the place and hailing a taxi from here is one of the most easiest task.

The hotel is clean and location is excellant . Unfortunatley i got a room by reception whoch is nosiy from early morning. I booked to attend the roof resturant but the manager is toally rude and reseves all tables with a view for outside clients. So what is the benefit to gueats ? Maybe the hotel should think about this area and offer guests some service and hospitality. The hotel next door has an amazing bar on two levels its higher modern has a good ambeiance and the staff accodate eveyone its far superior in every respect!

Lovely Boutique Hotel.We loved the room interior, the great shower and balcony and location. Amazing wall paper and almost all we needed.Entrance not welcoming at all.Took the elevator up to the 3rd floor reception, a sign would have been nice when arriving here.Unfortunately an empty minibar with no options to buy when we arrived. An idea we experienced in another hotel was to offer a menu where guests can order in to their minibar. Should at least be possible to order when checking in.The Breakfast is not presented in the best possible way, what we’d expect from a boutique Hotel. No real coffee just nescafé and the outside area (pillows and such) could need a little makeover. View stunning, too many crows waiting for leftovers.. but no idea if theres a way to get rid of them.Also,no hairdryer to be found in the room.

The Harbour view hotel is clean, comfortable and affordable. Friendly staff. And the location is just perfect in Colaba. Mumbai at its best. Make sure you get rooms with a view on the bay. Its worth it.

The hotel is located in a great area.. in the same line as the Taj Mahal hotel and minutes away from the Gateway of India by walk..located on the third floor of the premises of another hotel you might actually think you found the wrong place but just walk straight in take the elevator to the third floor and you get to the front desk of Harbor View..the staff was friendly and nice and the room was super clean..its a bit on the smaller side and feels a tad cramped but the bathroom was incredible, fairly large and super modern looking..the rain shower was one of the best showers Ive ever experienced and especially for India..extremely high pressure and ultra relaxing..One of the things that could be upgraded is the modernity of the room doors..theyre still pretty old school with actual keys to open and close the door and you have to hand the keys in to the front desk everytime you leave the room (even for breakfast) which can be quite annoying..Although I didnt have any issues or reasons to think that the security of my possessions was in question, turning in the keys every time could also make someone worried about their possessions being easily accessible to hotel staff

Location is excellent and food is good. we were alloted Room no 303 which was small in size and floor was wet may be due to moisture in air due to sea. Later on we were shifted to room no 301, it was bigger in size and better than 303. out of 5 I will give 3 star provided room is 301. Further about breakfast, it was ok ok type and there was no change in variety same type of breakfast was served all three days .2.5

1/510 hours ago on GoogleMy stay was pathetic. Breakfast they served was not good. No variety of food in the buffet. When I came their AC was not working properly and we complained about it. Next we went out in the morning n when we came back late it wasn’t working again. We complained about it again... no solution was given to us. We paid extra amount for booking the balcony sea view room... and they told us to leave that room around 12:25am n shift to another room with no view. My mom who were in their mid nap... slept like that only..when I told the manager to arrange a call with his head.... his head denied to talk to me saying I can’t talk, I m on off. As if we were on business tour.Water bottle of daily basis they provided were two 1/2 liter bottles... if you need more water they will charge you.Don’t go only with the good view this hotel provide...No services... No swimmingpool ... no space nothing... congested hotel... it’s on the 3rd floor.In the pics it looks like it’s a big property but actually it’s a floor.Pls don’t plan your vacation here.. it will spoil everything. Wastage of money.

The hotel has beautiful location. Quality of room and washroom is exceedingly good. Mattress, linen is elegant and very comfortable. Rooftop cafe is amazing. Great for family.

The location is only 2 minutes away from the main attraction of Mumbai: Getaway of India. This is great, especially for those who have just been to Mumbai for the first-time. The view from their restaurant on the restaurant is super stunning (tip: go up at sunrise!)The bed is comfy, the shower is strong, the room even has a fridge, the staff is very accommodating, and most importantly: the room fragrance; its refreshing!

Simply does not worth the money...The good thing about the hotel is the location. Other than that, it is no more than a 2-3 star hotel:The rooms are noisy - I could hear all the talking in reception and nearby rooms.The room was small and with no window you can open.Service is ok, but nothing more. They do clean the room every day and provide bottles of water.Breakfast is very basic buffet. Almost no choices.Everything is clean but not that modern or new.Bottom line, for a $100 a night I would expect much better. Choose another cheaper option, at least you get what you paid for.

Hotel is on the third floor! Sea facing room that I had was clean, with a far better than usual view. Staff was courteous. WiFi worked very well. Breakfast starts at 7 am which is a bit late for business travelers and has limited options, no buffet. It is served on the table. They dont have parking space. Washrooms are spotless clean. Shower was one of the best I have experienced by far. Rooms are good for business travelers but might seem small for family accommodation. Food quality was acceptable. Bayview Cafe serves breakfast on the roof top.

Restaurant very ordinary. Breakfast no buffet, very very spartan and limited. Commode very low and uncomfortable. Rooms small. Only attraction is sea view through window but most rooms are not sea facing. Corridors narrow, blocked by trolley. Check out took long time even though I notified previous night. Overall, in my opinion, not good value for money. There are better options at this price range.

We had visited this place to go to Bay view cafe which is at the top. Hotel has a nice view, located near Gateway of India n colaba market is close to this place for shopping. Bay view cafe ambiance is good, chill atmosphere, friendly staff and the view from hotel is too good. Sunrise and sunset view is good from Bay view and a romantic place to dine out.

Esa staff kahin nahi dekha, the breakfast buffet was upto 11 am. I made a booking for 5 days and in the initial days when my family reached at 9:30, they were told ki paranthe khatam! This happened repeatedly for the first 3 days, 4th day when I reached at 8 and received the same reply that was the limit. Ek baar staff se zor se boldo toh paranthe tayar. Dahi mangi toh bola 2 din purani milegi.This is not it, when i came back the final thing came into the knowledge. Every member of my family was missing some amount!! Great experience you people!!

Good food on the rooftop restaurant with a nice view. Loved that the hotel had a strategic location. The room was small and the rats climbing in the walls kept me up at night. Would not stay here again but would definetly visit the restaurant.

Stayed in the hotel for three nights from 9th Feb to 12th Feb. Very friendly ambience with excellent room decor and affordable value for money tariff with good roof top restaurant where one can enjoy the view of the scenic Gateway Of India and beautiful Rattling Waves Of Arabian Sea. Suggested to management to get the exterior painted in keeping with interior decor.

Hotel Bay View Restaurant is an excellent roof top restaurant .The ambience is perfect with sea facing outside sit out and air conditioned internal area . Theit food is very well cooked and well presented. We had tried chicken biryani, chicken spring rolls amongst other dishes , both were excellent .

The name and the view are the usp of this hotel. However, the lack of service and discipline among the staff is a huge disappointment. Stayed here on my business trip for a couple of days, was impressed and attracted by the sea facing feature of this hotel and payed a hefty fee for the stay. However, I realized within a single day that I have made a huge mistake as the buffet was not available even when I went on time. When I asked the staff, they ignored me at first and kept on recommending other places outside for eating. On repeated queries they told that the buffet was over. However I went the very next morning at the time which was the scheduled start of the buffet and still I got the same reply. The staff was very rude, they did not answer me and kept on making excuses. They were always ignoring all my requests. The bedsheets in my room was shabby and when I asked the staff to change it, they told me that they cant.This was probably the worst business trip that I ever had. Took a long time to check out also. Very unprofessional, unclean and rude. These guys dont know the value of other peoples money. Will never visit this hotel ever again and wont recommend it too. Total waste of money.
