Out of the Blue, one of the classiest places in the suburbs when it comes to food, ambiance, and service. Recently dropped in by and was lucky enough to relish their seafood delicacies, since their seafood festival is going on until 31st March.Definitely a heaven for a diehard seafood lover and also had some mock meat dishes. All their offerings had a continental touch to them and the presentation was so perfectly executed. Coming to the serving portion, it was sufficient between 2 people and I feel it was worth the money.We had started off with the Seafood Choppino which was served inside gremolata sourdough bread. Loaded with meat and a cheesy touch it was the best, to begin with.Relished quite a few dishes but the Baked Crab & Calamari Prawns Aioli were our favorites. Indeed that would be my sure-shot recommendation.The mains were simply outstanding and quite unique since I had never tried them.Cajun Pomfret paired with Kokum Butter Sauce was the best. Would recommend having it with the sauce itself. For 800bucks, it was a decent pick considering the taste and everything.The Herbed Crusted Indian Salmon with kale sauce and creamy mashed potatoes can never go wrong. Also, the salmon chunk was pretty big and could be shared easily between 2 people.We ended this fishy affair on a smoky and sweeter note relishing the Pumpkin Pie with smoked vanilla icecream. Must try.They also had a dedicated cocktail menu with some interesting cocktails. The server recommended us the Fish Bowl Margarita which was tequila, orange liquor topped with a beer cocktail. Quite fascinating.The food we ordered came on time, the server Mahesh was kind enough to help us throughout the meal. A lovely place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

Out of the BlueFor the love of Italian food, this place was always on my list. The set-up is comfortable with dim lights and earthy interiors, with a beautiful bar at the centre. Perfect place for a date night.This place is located at Union Park, off carter road Khar West. This place has both outdoor and indoor seating arrangement. The outdoors is quite pleasant and better for smokers. They also serve European and American cuisine.What I tried:Honey Garlic Prawns: It was cooked to perfection and yet balanced with the flavors. It was just melt in mouth.Gruyere Stuffed Wings: It was treat to devour.Cheese Garlic Bread: The amount of cheese was actually good as cheese was the USP of this dish. You could actually feel the softness of the cheese and though the cheese pull was amazing.White Sauce Pasta: The pasta was decent and with generous portions.Chocolate Caramel Sandwich: It was delicious indulgence which you cannot skip.This place has marked a special place in the list of restaurants where I would love to visit again. The excitement you feel when a plate of sizzler is about to come to your table is out of this world, isn’t it? 🤩Out of the blue is standing tall with pride, having completed 20 long years! A feat like that calls for celebration- they’ve introduced a new menu that has a combination of their classic dishes as well as new flavours that include options that are vegan and gluten-free!Did you know that you can customise your sizzler right here? They also have different fondues you can pick from and that beetroot vegan burger has our heart. 🤤 They also have an upside down nachos which is more fun to eat anyway! Don’t forget to get the kahlua and baileys mousse at the end of your meal because that’s unlike anything we’ve had before.

Perfect dine-out plan on a cool breezy spring evening. This restaurant has been on my favourite list for a while now. Enjoy comfortable air conditioned seating as well as a romantic outdoor dinner (under a canopy). The restaurant has a Mediterranean decor and serves Mezze. Coming to food...Id strongly recommend the John Dory and Lamb shanks. Vegetarians would also not be disappointed as there are good dishes. Additional info : There is live music on Friday nights.

Pretty darn old one and still lives up to the standards. A really pleasing little spot for a date night. Ferry lights make the place look so beautiful. Service can be improved, but food quality is up to mark. Roasted chicken and Bacon Carbonara was delectable. Check the desserts at the dessert bar. Not all have been included in the menu.

Went for an impromptu lunch and really enjoyed the food, the fondue was filling and tasty and the salad was also decent. The ambience was pretty chill but the deserts were highly avoidable. Overall pretty decent place and would recommend if you’re looking for something new!

So it was Christmas , I decided to visit Out of the blue because of its great ambience . The open air sittings are a boon in disguise specially during covid times .They had arranged a proper sanitising cubicle at the entrance and all the tables were sanitised when the table was given to the next person.They had a special berry menu for Christmas .Special thanks to to chef who specially curated the turkey leg for meThe Berry cider was mind blowing and ofcourse they had these special Christmas desserts which were mouth wateringMy Christmas turned out to be super fun with their live band , a glass of wine and the berry menu .Loved it !

Baba ganoush was giving a nice slight tanginess.CARROT CAKEThis was tasty however i wanted it to be more spongier, granular rather than being moist. We attended the French Fest and boy it was amazing. They have the fest going on for the week and its crazy. They are celebrating every thing french.They have some amazing authentic French food , french beers and wines, the ambiance is set up with flags and french murals and paintings.They have sessions on French language, French food, french desserts and a lot more.We tried their food at French Rivera Drunch and we just fell in love with France and its culture more.From the salads to dessert, from french beers to wine, from pork to duck to chicken and even veg food was so amazingly cooked.

Very nice decor and friendly staff. Light jazz music in the background. Free Wi-F. Great breakfast place for 9a.m. but closes at 10:30a.m. Everything else in the area was not open. We got the $10/buffet/person. Really enjoyed the variety. If your in the area and want Continental breakfast. This is the best spot.

I went on world egg day so they had eggspectaion theme hence most of the dishes were egg based.The food quality was average. The desserts were really good.We were attending sunday brunch and was very hot as it was arranged in an outdoor seating. Service was good though.

Has held on to its charm of being a quaint and coveted space over the years. In one of the alcoves near Carter road, one could find this place literally out of the blue, popping out its head to welcome you in.The laidback environment, jazz/old pop in the background, aroma of fondue wafting through the air - these are enough to transcend at least me to a happy place! By now if it doesnt do for you, try their food and cocktail options and Im sure it will.

One of the best wine dine experiences one can have in bandra .This place is old but surely gold .The food the ambience the people everything is excellent and thats how its has been for years .They do have some.great offers on sangria and beer buckets do ask the server. Coming to the food order anything from a cheese garlic bread to pasta to sizzler it wont disappoint.Let downs on this meal were the deserts from deli I felt the presentation was amazing but both the deserts lacked taste or were just not fresh .Desert called for Newyork Cheese Cake and tiramisu. MUST TRY SANGRIA AND PASTA IN RED SAUCE.

Out of the Blue – Went to this place on Sunday Drunch as I had heard a lot of good stuff about the place. So first impression upon reaching was that the place has some really great ambience to compliment the food and drinks. I opted for a brunch with costed Rs. 1800/- inclusive of tax (this includes food and drinks like white/red sangria and beer (Heineken, Bira). They have other options like Rs. 1250/- (just food) and 2250/- (includes IMFL) to what I remember. When I went they had a theme of Italian drunch.In terms of overall spread it consisted of cheese varieties like sharp cheddar, process cheddar, emmental cheese, then nachos, cheese sauce, salsa and salads. Desserts I remember it had tiramisu (not the best one for sure) and some other one which I don’t recollect.For non vegetarian they had Italian pork ribs, duck Bolognese, shrimp and lemon croquettes with eggs as live counter.For vegetarian they had mashroom ragu, eggplant parmigiana, sweet potato croquettes, paragula zuchhini and live counter for pasta with different sauces.They also had pizzas of course so we tried veg classic margarita pizza and spicy chicken pizza._________________As an Italian theme I feel the quality of food was to the point be it the pizzas or pastas, the pork ribs and croquettes and of course delicious eggs but in terms of the spread size it felt less given the cost it asks. Sangria was a let-down as they felt little diluted and the wine was not served chilled as I prefer (instead the server preferred to add ice cubes in it).Overall it was a decent place for a brunch but I  feel there are definitely better brunch options in that area and this place could have tough competition if the spread remains like this but in terms of quality of food and staffs courteous service I would rate them 4.

Out of the Blue is my favourite sizzler place in town .The chicken paprika sizzler is my personal favourite,which is on the spicy 🌶 side .I also love the desserts 🍨 out here which are absolutely delectable.The decor is a bit dimly lit .The koi pond at the entrance is superb to marvel at .

Out of the blue has been one of my favourites since the time I was in college.Ive had dates, celebrations, farewells, parties everything here.I love the cheese and chocolate fondues here.The ambiance is beautiful, the food is good, what else do you need.Recently they have hosted a French food festival.They have an Ala carte menu for weekdays and have a Drunch on Sundays.They have wines, beers, cocktails for the Drunch. Do try the beer..its amazing.The French onion fondue is decent.The Ala Carte menu is good. Not many options for vegetarians but whatever available is really good.Loved the spread laid out for the Drunch. Loved almost everything.The salads were excellent, loved the poached pears, the crepes were good. Loved the Vegetarian spread.The desserts were good too.Overall, it was a good experience.

French Festival (Out Of the Blue) Last day Today, Wish it was on for another week or so. Take a bow Chef Amazing Job. Menu Conceived, gets you to try some French dishes very close to being Authentic. Out of the Blue also serves European/American/Italian cuisine. It can be called a Casual dining Place with Outdoor sitting as well.Coming to what we had:DRB Laffite (Légende Bordeaux rouge) one of the good wines made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Dry and goes well with this cuisine.Jasmine Collins - Basically Jasmine used of the highest quality with a mix of lemon juice a bit of gomme syrup Grey Goose Vodka - refreshing.One has to have the Crème de Porcini ET Fromage - Soup, Porcini mushrooms cooked in cream. This had a lovely texture. Richness all over. Gruyere cheese was icing on the cake. Loved the authenticity. Priced at 375/+ its a must try. Hope it becomes a part of their regular menu.Fondues: French Onion Fondue, Here the chef has tried something different. Instead of the soup (which contains beef) he has given a twist and made a fondue. Rich again. Thick in texture. Gives you the sweetness from the onions. Balanced well. Served with Bread/Vegetables.Mille Feuille de Artichauts avec Confiture de Baies - French names. Basically Puff pastry stuffed with Marinated artichoke served with fresh lettuce. (This was a nice combination) Berry compote at the top looked good. Balanced the dish. Subtle in taste. Micro greens as a garnish. Loved it.Soufflé - Savoury, if you are a vegetarian must try the Asparagus and Beet (sauce) baked at the correct temperature with perfect density. A bit of asparagus (diced) along with herbs. This was served with Beet sauce. One needs to cut the soufflé and pour the beet sauce. Yummy. This is a tricky dish but made to perfection (star dish of the day)Pot au Feu - This is traditional and so French. Normally meant as a community pot. Here the chef has personalised it with small portion. Presented well. Broth was fantastic. Had the aroma and herbs. Clear. Artichokes/radish/beetroot/carrots/baby corn/zucchini. Flavours subtle with aroma. Loved this dish.Desserts: Crepe Suzette, this is classic with flambéed with orange liquor on the table. Rich and strong. Just perfect in short.Tarte Tatin - This has a history behind it. Named after a hotel as it was their signature dish. Main ingredient being apple. Created at Hotel Tatin (France) here the fruit is caramelised in butter and sugar before its baked. Chef has also used Pears along with apple and a bit of cinnamon to up the taste. Served with Vanilla Ice cream.CHICKEN IN BROWN MOLE SAUCE - one needs to order this if he is a non vegetarian. Signature dish and the house favourite. Chicken leg marinated with Mexican spices. Served with 54 day simmered Mole sauce (This is traditionally Mexican sauce) this is made out of Chocolate and Chilli peppers with onion/garlic. As u read it, its simmered for 54 days. Chicken dish is bold in flavours has the depth and perfectly balanced. Served with Mexican rice (spicy) Carrots/beans/Cauliflower. Here the chef has given a Stuffed chilli with cheese and herbs which was lovely. Priced at 515/+ its a meal by itself. Chicken tender juicy. Full marks.Overall - FANTASTIC. Loved it. First of all food here is amazing. Period. Restuarant staffs are very nice polite and helpful. During weekends its always full and you must book your table before you go. Here is where I have faced a problem recently. The place extremely understaffed during weekends. If the Restuarant is full then its not possible for the staffs to cater to the customers properly. Hence service become poor. I have visited the place very recently for Sunday dinner. For 10 minutes we didnt receive the menu even after asking for it twice. Water wasnt served for almost 15 minutes even after asking three different staffs. We ordered certain sizzler with barbecue sauce but we were served with some kind of tomato sauce. These things kind of ruined the dining experience. Again I reiterate that I am not blaming the staffs. They were doing their best. But if they are so understaffed then they cant do much about it.

The cheese fondue is delicious they serve it with vegetables and toasted bread that you dip in a pot of cheese. The pasta is creamy and well made, definitely a must try, and very filling. The drinks are overpriced but have a unique taste. The prawn popcorns are tasty and are a great appetizer

Twas a long gap since i had last been here. Pretty much the same... Ambience... Crowd.... Sitting... And most importantly the food. Had booked ahead thru zomato, got a nice corner seat with mosquito coil in place. Had decided on having a sizzling dinner... Paneer shashlik was nice fish was better. Ended up with an additional order of risotto which was nice too. Got a high chair for my son, enough kids around so seems to be very kid friendly.... Parking was smooth. Overall still a place to visit again and again... .

The food was great.Two stars deducted for bad management.We sat with my 2pet Indies and my aged inlaws in the outside section which also happened to be the smoking area.On asking for help as the adjoining table had smokers and it was causing immense discomfort to my inlaws, the Manager offered to check for a place for us in the inner section. After five minutes he confirmed the place & as we began to move, he said but your dogs arent allowed there. This followed by how he had given us a solution but it was our inability to manage the situation because we had dogs...who had been in plain view to him from the start. I was aghast and this put a real damper on our experience.Not once did he offer to request the smokers to maybe stop or smoke elsewhere as old people were uncomfortable.. They too continued to smoke knowing the situation full well like shamless young brats but thats besides the point. May I mention that the remaining restaurant was empty except for one group but restaurant policy trumps practical solutions in their book...Management Fail 101.We finished our meal with my inlaws inhaling through hankies and that made for quite an unpleasantly memorable day...Thankfully someone else came to handle our table and I didnt need to interact with that Manager again. Small mercies.There is a nice little lane right behind where smokers can go and smoke their hearts out. I dont understand how a pet friendly area doubles up as a smoking area...do pets enjoy the smoke? The restaurant/hotel needs to think about this...🙏🏼

Quiet & lovely candlelight dining place. They also have some Japanese-style tables, which are quite comfortable. Good vegetarian & non-vegetarian sizzlers (metal dishes with assorted ingredients in oven).

Out of the blue what a amazing place it is for a small party and social gathering of around 100 pax capacity. The food in the selected buffet menu was good to taste and professional hospitality.

Food quantity and taste was disappointing. The ambience is wonderful but food and drinks were totally overpriced and not worth the money.

The Pastry menu Wass off the charts, could easily be one of the best French bakers in Mumbai city❤️ The ambience had a Goan shack vibe and the food was better than most places near Carter road. Ordered a fresh baguette to be made and they did not disappoint! 🔥🔥

Well prepared and presented continental fare at a reasonable rate.The service is friendly and unhurried.Nice ambience with options of sitting in the air-conditioned section or outdoors.They are willing to reserve the entire space for private functions as well.Ive never been disappointed with the quality, taste or portion size of the food.

Visited the lovely Out Of The Blue, Khar recently and this place has always had an amazing vibe.There was Live music was being played.We Ordered, the Alfredo Pastas with cheese garlic bread which was very nice.We then ordered the chocolate dessert with ice cream which was so delicious that we had to order one more.The other patrons also seemed to be enjoying themselves eating and dancing by the table , enjoying the music. It was a lovely atmosphere.The service was excellent.Had a wonderful time at Out Of The Blue, will surely visit again to try the other dishes.

Terrible Service & Quality. Waited for 55 mins for my main course and it was over cooked, part of the dish missing and none of the waiters seem to have a clue. They just kept saying it will be here in 2 minutes. And to top it all I got food poisoning a few hours after eating here.

Very happening atmosphere and good food 😋😍

I took my husband here for his birthday. Since I wanted to keep it a surprise and wanted to make it little more special I took one of the packages which Out of the Blue offers. It included a bottle of wine, a cake. 3 course meal and wonderful decoration on the table. It was amazing. We both loved the meals and the ambiance. I would love to recommend it to others :)

Very good ambience. Very helpful staff. You get Valet parking too, so no hassle of finding a parking spot.They also have a large projector screen. Amazing food too.

Surreal environment on weekdays. Yum food and very welcoming staff. Portions were as expected and tasted really yummy. The food looked yummy but my phone didn’t had enough battery to capture some nice food pics. 🙈🙈

Had been here with friends. A fantastic place. Awesome ambiance and superb hosts. Wine collection, Food, mocktails everything was perfect. Cozy and comfortable place for family and group of friends. Would love to go back.

We are visiting from Canada, and decided to stop in. Staff were attentive and polite, and even suggested items not on the menu. Dishes arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. I found it slightly overpriced, but no regrets. We enjoyed the experience. Would recommend.

Excellent place for a relaxed fun evening. Have live music playing with great singers. Mocktails are good. Service is friendly and fast. Plenty of sitting. Have game areas, smoking area, a separate bakery and desert section as well.Will visit again.

When Out of the Blue was launched in Bandra, it was famous for being one of the few places in Mumbai to serve fondues. Over the years it has remained a favourite with families and large groups looking for Continental fare. Dishes like the four-cheese pasta and mezze platters are classics here.

I had to attend a friends wedding and had flown in from Bangalore. I went straight to Out of blue as my friend had arranged lunch there. Since I was really early, I ordered breakfast and the waiter there was really helpful in getting me a good seat with a mobile charging slot. Later I overpaid by mistake and the same waiter came back to me at lunch and returned the extra money! That was really awesome and I appreciate it.Besides the service, the food is definitely nice and worth trying out.

The first time visit was an invitation by PlayMusician India to perform here, didnt really try anything at that time. Will speak about my second visit here, which was to celebrate my friends birthday. This place exudes the brunch vibe. Ambience is very calm, which is very ideal for a Sunday brunch. The brunch buffet menu is an OK, didnt really liked the spread. Dessert line were very interesting. There was a one man band playing some late 80s, 90s Pop songs, which perfected the day. One thing I can assure, you will be very relaxed after the experience.

Food is nice. Superb ambience. Serving and observation could be better (e.g. water needs to be refilled etc.). Has quite a nice games around. Fine dinning at its best !

I absolutely loved the food at Out of the Blue. I decided to go for lunch on my own one day and was looking for a comfortable place. This place is amazing. The staff are friendly and respect your privacy. The variety in the menu is great and they offer some very fine dishes. Even the desserts look amazing. The location is easily accessible and not difficult to find and the ambiance is just perfect. They have a good drinks menu to go along with the food as well. Definitely must try.

A very rare view, most the visitors wouldnt have seen, I have shared.See them.Very lovely place, be in its design service or even food, Its just classy.Often celebrities come there, so there are chances when you go there, you could meet any of them.Must visit place.

Had a good time with my wife. A good place with cool ambiance. Food was tasty and Fondue is a must try.Food - Good.Service - Good.Ambiance - GoodThey have Outdoor sitting as well as indoor.Vallet parking facility is available.Only negative point is they Compulsorily take 10% Service Charge on the Total bill amount which I feel should be optional.
