Mean staff. Staff doesnt give attention to what the consumer is asking. Good fish maybe but I dont pay to get ignored.

This place is good for fish lovers.i have mostly likedThe fish curry and fish fry. Very Indian and heavy on spices. Good coastal food. Space is small, very simple ambience. Good place to enjoy food with family.service is good too.

It is famous in local area but frankly speaking, my experience is not good. The quality and quantity of food is not so good. One can get much better taste in other hotels near Dadar area. We were group of four and no one likes the taste. Sorry but thats our experience with this hotel. Others may find it good.

No words to describe the food. You have to taste it. Place is really well kept. Its air conditioned, clean and service was fast. We reached early around 12.30pm so place was empty. Afterwards it started getting crowded. As per the server, there is lot of waiting at peak time like any other good eatery so be early.

Awesome thalis and fish preparations and specials. Distinct flavours in all preparations. Nothing generic. Very personal and stand out cooking. Great ambience for families neat and clean air conditioned and lovely service.

Once upon a time the place was far better but now it has lost its charm and also the food quality. Also the interior what they have been holding on, for the last almost 3 decades, needs to be revamped to create a better ambiance. With their split AC, at upper level, making a lots of noise, it was like sitting in some factory to have your meal

Good food. Authentic Konkani food. Air-conditioned. Comfortable seating. Clean and hygienic. Service is good, too. Chicken and fish varieties are quite tasty. Portions served are smaller and the restaurant is a bit pricy. But no doubts about the quality and taste of the food.

Very good coastal food served here. We reached there a bit early. The hotel staff was kind enough to let us in 15 mins ahead of the opening hour.The baby shark masala was very good. The mutton was fresh and succulent. We ordered vade to eat with the gravy dishes. They were freshly made and extremely scrumptious.The staff is very friendly. And service is good too.

Around 25 years back this hotel was one of the best hotel for malvani food. It was always crowded. Even with celebreties. But now food quality is very very poor. I m very disappointed with quality

Most of my visits have been alone, for Ive had most occasion to visit only during moments snatched from mundane, dreary work. Ive visited to celebrate some success or the other; Ive spent quite time here as consolation, after a hard day. Ive visited here during many joys. Ive come here and eaten my fill so as to forget many a sorrow.In short, Sindhudurg has been an unassuming, undemanding and unfailing friend during all times.I find the food uniformly good. The ambience is minimalist; the abiding sensation here is of calmness and quiet especially during daylight hours.There are times when, due to shortage of seasonal fish or shortfall in markets, that Ive not been able to order my choices. But these occasions are forgiven freely, for the substitute that I have been served delighted me without fail; and in consequence, I found myself richer in knowledge upon the subtle and yet rich aspects of Maharashtras costal cuisine.I shall disagree with my friends who believe that Sindhudurg is expensive. In fact I find Sindhudurg quite the value for money; never have I had a meal here that has left me unsated in hunger; quite the contrary - everything so far has been excellent.I would enjoin upon the owners of Sindhudurg to market this restaurant in greater focus. Sindhudurg deserves to be better known and admired for what it is. I gather the impression that over the years, Sindhudurg has lost some popularity. Poor service. I ordered an item and the waiter got me a substitute from the menu and told me that you could have it as the one I ordered was not there. He had the audacity to assume I will eat it and did not even mention it to me while serving that the item I wanted was not available.I went here after 10 years and thought I would get the same service. Really disappointing.

Went to have Lunch with friends.. This place was quite empty on a weekday afternoon. We ordered Fish Thali and separate fish (Surmai, Halwa and Pomfret) Dishes tasted just fine.. Service was quick enough considering the fact that the Restaurant didnt have many Guests. Fish Curry with Rice was Awesome.

We have fish thali and chicken thali. Overall everything was good. Just saying that all fried things are deep fried mostly in coconut oil. And a little thing that was disappointing that the solkadi had coconut oil may be tadka was given whatever but because of that coconut oil taste it spoiled the solkadi which is supposed to be a little salty , a tint of spice and a little sour. Though overall it was a good experience. Staff was really good. Bonus points to the staff service.

The restaurant is spacious.. Some space for parking is also there.. You will get Maharashtrian food here.. Seafood especially.. Fish thali is ok little oily.. Some vegetarian Maharashtrian food dishes like kothimbir vadi, aamras.. But you wont get any paneer dishes.

Quantity of thali is very less, only two vade in a thali. Kombdi vade very testless, no proper salt and the vada flour was not proper. It was just like poori. Solkadhi was not freshly prepared, bad in test and color. Food preparation is very pathetic.Wont go to this place again

We had the choice between gomantak and Sindhudurg. We chose to give a chance to Sindhudurg. They serve malvani food. We ordered crab, fish, and chicken thali. Crab was awesome. Fish according to my mom was not fresh she being malvani knows in and out of fish, so I believe it was not fresh. May be because we went there on not so busy time but still it was not fresh. chicken was good.Good thing was it tasted like home food no soda or of that sort.Not many options for vegetarians, but kothimbir Wadi we ordered was good. Crisp from outside soft from inside.

Unexpectedly empty on a Saturday night. The mutton thali was A1 and the bombils crisply fried. The two vades served with the thali are very deceptive. Do not compemplate ordering more.y advice would be to finish the thali and then see if you have space for more food. Another tip, finish the meal with the sop Kadi. Dont order side drinks as it will unnecessarily fill you up and take away the taste of the near rustic tasteful thali

A nice seafood restaurant. One of the oldest in dadar. Nice seating. Crab curry is one of the best and very affordable. Followed by surmai fry and prawns fry. A nice malvani taste makes it mouth watering. Sol kadhi is not that great. Otherwise a very gold casual dinning place
