Truly an amazing experience! Top-notch professionals providing a fantastic sail around Bombay harbor. The group is very accommodating about schedules, conducts safety checks and orientation, and provides a guided sail departing from the Taj Mahal Hotel / Gateway of India in Colaba. Water, sunscreen and small biscuits are provided, and the crew are experienced, no-hassle types who want to please. We had a brilliant sail, with the captain giving me command of the rudder under his guidance. In one hour, we sailed out to Mumbais second lighthouse, then back toward the Navys Middle Ground, and then in to the harbor.Definitely something to do again, with friends and the kids! Well done to Aquasail!

I took a 90-min introduction-to-sailing session with Aquasail and absolutely loved it. From the thrill of being in open waters to understanding the science of manually controlling speed on a motorless boat by just harnessing the power of the wind, every minute was exciting. It left me wondering why I hadnt done this before and longing for more (P.S: Im signing up for a full-fledged course right after the monsoons).My instructor, Sikandar, and the rest of the crew were knowledgeable and friendly. The team was particular about safety and handed me a life jacket before we got on the boat. Sikandar walked me through the basics and let me direct the boat, but actively took control when necessary. At one point, the winds were so heavy that one side of the boat was nearly on water. The crew manouvred the boat with ease as I watched in awe.The boat itself, a well-maintained French-made Bénétau 7.5, was spectacular and had enough room for the crew to move around to manouver the boat. I read later on that the boat is designed specifically as a racing boat. That Aquasail has made the industrys best boats available for leisure sailing in India is commendable. Im glad that what would normally be considered an elite sport is now available for just about anyone to indulge in and Im definitely coming back more often.

Had an amazing time sailing with Aquasail. Everyone from sales to our captain were amazing. Special shoutout to Sangam for making us feel very comfortable, safe and at ease in the open sea. He took special care of my 83 year old grandfather and he too thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Special shoutout to Sanjeet as well for arranging balloons and a delicious cake for my mom dads anniversary SAILaberations on board. To top it, we also got spotted a dolphin on the way back. Great experience! Must try! The trainers are friendly and professional. You can have your hands on sailing and learn the basics.However, they clicked a lot of pictures but none of them were clear. They didnt send half of the pictures.

My husband has booked a sailing experience from Gateway for our wedding anniversary. Evans and his sailing colleague Nagesh were friendly and helpful and even taught us the basics of the tiller/rope as we were interested. Everything is thought of - from security helmets, gloves and lifejackets to small things like water bottles, hand sanitizer and wet wipes. They also took pictures for us. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins too. All in all a great experience! Would recommend highly.

Amazing experience. Very good team. Friendly ambience too. Made is very comfortable.This was a surprise for my wife on her birthday. We started the sailing at around 4.30 pm. We got some good winds. The instructor, a South African sailor explained everything quite elaborately and even gave us the sails to try it out for ourselves. All in all, a wonderful day. After the sailing, we went for a cup of coffee/tea at Sea Yah, recommended by Aquasail team & thoroughly enjoyed there too.Thanks Zia, Sanjeet & Evans for a memorable experience.
