Interacted with Dr. on many occasions and found him to be thoroughly professional. Went to DAIRCC many times and spoke to a lot of people seeking help there, everybody spoke well of him and were getting better. The atmosphere of the place was kind and nurturing. I met Doc, Dr Yusuf Merchant Exactly 10 years back when I was just 17 years old. I was very confused about my life and quite destructive as a person. One meeting with Doc, despite how young I was, convinced me that I needed help and that this man would understand me and I could finally get a chance at being happy. I have had a wonderful and enriching experience with land ( the rehabilitation centre) and doc for over a decade now. The kind of things I learnt at that an early age shapes me into the person I am today and till date helps me to deal with life stressors.The best part about the whole experience is the kind of support we get even after we leave the place. Once doc takes someone in recovery he is always available to us whenever we have other issues which we need guidance with. He is a call away for thousands of ex programmers and even our familys. Its amazes me till date, how one person can help and be there as a support to so many people and families.The practises we learn at land are simple and very effective. They have worked for so many people to remain sober and also be happy at the same time. I dont think such a way of learning and support is available anywhere else and I count myself few of those lucky ones who found this magical place when I needed it the most.If you or your family members are going through any kind of addiction or emotional issues, doc and land are sure to help you find a joyful and productive life where you will feel understood and and find friends for a lifetime.

I know of him through references and have visited this place and met few people. He has helped drug addicts in getting and staying clean. His methods are effective and he is a great person. Would positively recommend him for treatment

Bhai helped my mum, dad and uncle get clean. Hes a gem of a person and someone who is the closest form of home away from home. He radiates only possitive energy and never fails to raise your spirits. when youre around him I can assure you hes so dope youll just get high off the vibrations ❤️

I have never met Dr Yusuf. But 2 of my friends have been clean for now 30 yrs and 20yrs due to him. I’ve heard amazing stories about how he has been super supportive of his patients . We need more Drs like this.

Dr. Yusuf Merchant is incredibly gifted and makes a huge, positive difference in the lives of his patients. He is a mentor and guide to everybody at Land rehabilitation centre - DAIRRC.

Yusuf Merchant is an incredibly controlling megalomaniac who has preyed on the vulnerable. I was a patient of his for 14 months and I accept wholeheartedly that his programme helped me, however in exchange for helping you he expects unquestioned loyalty even when carrying out actions which are ethically questionable or morally reprehensible. Numerous allegations of abuse have been mounted against him as well as questions into his qualifications, as per the article in the Mumbai Mirror, and as an ex patient who has had involvement for many years in his network I don’t hesitate in believing the allegations. He created a system where if you attempted to question him, his motives, his actions or his methods you risked being ostracised from the entire network. When you believe that network is necessary for your sobriety and recovery you are effectively a prisoner of his as a result.Please do not send your family or friends to Yusuf Merchant’s rehab (Land/DAIRRC). There must be no more lives ruined.

Dont waste your time asking for appointment. They reply you with details of intensive 1 year program, without even knowing if you are a drug addict. If you need his help on other issues, there are great chances that you will be disappointed, as their replies are without any concern, and it appears as if, if you can pay hefty monthly charges of Rs. 150k for 1yr, then only you shall proceed.The doc himself mentioned in his book, its the people who needs the help most, dont get it. I am unfortunate to experience it, with himself. However, his book is great and can help you, if you are a kind of less affected or normal person.

When i was vulnerable i trusted Doc completely but he abussed this trust, he used this trust we gave him to hurt others, none of us questioned him, none of our famlies or partners. we just did what he said, we gave him power for this i wish we had questioned things more, we needed to open our eye, but now they are open n no more girls must be hurt. I loved him and respected him, it has broken my heart to realise what he was doing all along. dont go to this rehab (DAIRCC, Land) stay safe plz

There is a dark side to Dr Yusuf Merchant, I dont think females are safe in his rehab. When I was there he was very controlling, making it very difficult for anyone to speak out. I wish I did not give him my trust.
