The cuisine of an area is century old and reflects of the culture of trading of spices, herbs, mutual commerce, cultivation and unique traditions.Usually there are 2 kinds of food in most of the cuisines -One is the kind of food cooked & consumed dailyAnother is Festive food, prepared during festivals. The specialities of Lebanese, Arabic cuisines. Both belong to the same area almost.Arabic cuisine defines the various cuisines, spanning the Arab world. They mostly use the same kind of ingredients, flavours in their cuisines.A particular cuisine gets its identity from the ingredients available in that region, herbs, spices, climate factors, tastebuds of the locals, creativity to develop the regional delicacies. This is using known as Traditional food. The food traditional runs from genaration to genaration. But when its become popular & started available to the other parts of the world. Sometimes authenticity is maintained strictly. And sometimes, bit of change of ingredients, cooking medium, combination, presentation happen as per the choice of the foodies.Arbab in Bandra West, is a great place to dine-in, they are maintaining the authentic approach, taste of the traditional dishes. The curated menu is influenced by Arabic, Lebanese & Iraqi cuisines.Abundance of whole grains, poultry, fruits, meat, vegetables, sea food are available.Ambience is beautiful, airy, open-air place with Arabic themed Interiors, background music, staff uniform - very detailed work.ArbabPlot No - 117Shop No - 428th RoadBandra WestMumbaiMaharashtra -400050Arbab - A Persian word meansMaster, Landlord - who take care of others.I was lucky enough to be in this beautiful place.Observed -The staffs are cordial, excellent in service.Hygiene & all the health related protocols are well maintained. Signature mocktails, shakes -Refreshing2.Cold Mezza platter ( with fresh bread) - Must try. Burst of flavours, colours, creativity by Chef. Best ingredients are used to bring the authentic taste of the cuisine. A healthy option for health-concious foodies. Everything is natural and fresh.3. Paneer tawok - A complete meal by itself. Big chunks of soft fresh paneer, the presentation. A perfect comfort food.4. Falafal platter - A great platter dish. Nicely presented.5. Batata harara - Really loved this dish. Arbab is serving the dishes prepared in authentic way6. Manakish - Great creation by Chef7. Hummus mushroom wrap - This platter is full of taste, texture, colour & nicely presented. Being brought up in the gulf Ive been craving for some Authentic middle eastern cuisine in Mumbai. Ive been to 85-90% of all the possible Middle Eastern restaurants, the fine dining ones and casual ones but nothing comes near to Arbab!!! The only place that serves amazing Shawarma, Shish touk and toum which is quite close to the ones we get back in gulf. The Kunafa and Baklava were amazing too. The drinks section isnt great and doesnt have too much variety. They should introduce Laban and coffee. The staff especially the manager - Mr.Mathew is excellent and makes you feel comfortable. Genuine chap. Without a doubt Id say visit the place to satiate your middle eastern cravings!

Had the Spicy Chicken Shawarma Platter served with fries, garlic dip( this dip was just yummm) and finally had the Mix Meat Platter which was good enough. The portion size needs to be worked on. I personally would prefer the boneless meat from the leg than breast as they are juicier. Will I visit the place again Yes on special occasion regular visit will hit my pocket. If youre in the mood for some good and yummy Arabian or Lebanese food this is the place. The food was of great quality and the place has quite a cool vibe except for the construction that was going on which was a bit annoying! I am sure the construction wont last forever so you can be assured of some good environment and music. We had quite a lot of food and it was great! The reason I put 4 stars is that you have to order the Khubz or Pita bread separately. Only one is complimentary with the hummus so it could get a bit expensive to order 4-5 separately. However, the taste is absolutely fantastic! We also ordered the Shish Tawouk which was a type of grilled chicken which tasted very different as compared to what you eat regularly. Its a must try for sure. The shwarma was amazing! The garlic dip is too yum! Now, if you really love spinach then you could try the Spinach Fatayer. The flavour is very strong and I would not recommend it for someone who isnt a fan of spinach!Overall the place is great, its a must try and I think the night vibe is even better!

Great New PlaceLooking for some new eatary options me and my wife ended up here .And we were so glad we took this chance. So that we could be treated to some amazing Lebanese food .Arbab is a new eatary opened in the same building as stomach (the famous chinese joint for years). The interiors are fresh and welcoming with some smoothing instrumental music being played in the background. The server was very polite and informative of the dishes and names and we had many questions as not very aware of the cuisine. We went ahead with his suggestions and called for Hummus with extra pita bread which is freshly baked .Chicken shawarma a must have when you here only be careful the extra garlic sauce they give which they call Thum is for 100 rs which I felt was over priced for a extra item .But the shawarma is a must have .For mains we called for Shish Tawouk which had char grilled chicken some salad and rice .This dish was not so great as I felt the chicken was not fresher grilled .Seems pre done to me .But all in all a great place to enjoy the monsoon as it completely open air sitting. Arbab:On our recent visit to Bandra we decided to try out a New place and came across this New Restaurant..The ambiance is curated absolute like Middle Eastern street style with outdoor sittings with a compact Lebanon Food Menu..We found the concept very interesting & gave it a shot.We tried their Cold platter:This is a platter served:Humus small scoop: Was Absolute fresh and made with perfection.Fatouche salad: The Tamarind sauce just added a magic to it!3pcs falafal: Crumb fried, Crispy also delicious in every bite..Moutabbul small scoop: A Must try, and something different we tried that day.Batata Harra: The spice & herbed potatoes were excellently prepared. With a tinch of Tamarind made wonders to this particular dish. (MUST TRY)From the Hot platter we tried:2PC lamb chop: Absolute Succulent, beautiful roasted lamp chops are a Must Try!3PC shish touk: Densely Marinated with Masala went well with the Hung curd sauce that was served in the platter.3PC lamb tikka: Uber Soft, Well done.. Waa amazed and had this kind after a long time.1 skewer lamb kebab: This is super succulent.. scrumptious in all factor. They also accompanied bread basket which consisted of 2 khubz bread ( Must Try) these are uber soft and goes with everything thats served in platter and one Saj bread.Everything was par excellence. The portion size is sufficient for 2 people. Also value for money in all respect. The staff is well dressed & extremely friendly.. ARBAB - U little Gem, blew me away with authentic Lebanese cuisine. Maybe top 3 in Mumbai. No Doubt about that. Lovely Location - simple decor, lively, conceived menu. USP = Pricing. Just Perfect. Ingredients = sourced from abroad, end result = Top notch.Started with the Lemon and Mint - Citrusy/Tangy/Refreshing. Took me to Middle East. Perfect. No flaws.Skipped the Soup. Opted for Fattoush, Levantine Middle Eastern salad (Syria) Toasted pieces of Khubz with mixed greens/lemon juice/olive oil. Balance perfect. Taste - Citrusy/Sour (sumac)Falafel Salad - Something different. Fresh/crunchy. Its all about crispy falafel pieces with fresh lettuce feta/pita chips a bit of tahini dressed with lemon. Had the Crunchiness at the same time gave the tahini hit and citrusy touch from lemon and saltiness from the feta. Balanced it well.Cold Mezze - small portions of Beirut Hummus with parsley/garlic and lemon. Good. Baba Ganush - loved the smokiness of the chargrilled eggplant. A bit of veggies pomegranate to get that sweetness and lot of olive oil. (Authentic)Pesto Hummus/Chilly Hummus/Avocado Hummus - all the 3 had lovely texture and the elements mentioned were spot on. Loved the Chilli hummus. Balance of all the 3 was perfect.Arbab Special Batata Harra - this was comfort food. Had with the hot Pita bread (In house) A bit of coriander lemon juice and chilli paste. Had that spicy tangy touch.Chicken Shawarma - must have. Traditional Lebanese dish made well. Juicy with spices. Served with Home cut fries/pickles and garlic sauce. Go for it. Mini meal.Small portion of Grilled selection (Non veg) Shish Taouk, tender/juicy/balanced well. Char grilled chicken (boneless cubes) marinated in spices. Had a good balance and texture served with fries and garlic sauce. LAMB TIKKA - another lovely dish marinated well served in skewers. However i liked the LAMB KEBAB (minced meat) rusty texture (so Middle Eastern) this was marinated in the Middle Eastern spices served with onions and pickles. One has to try the Rehash - Grilled Lamb Chops (chef - amazing) freshly marinated. Grilled to perfection. Enough meat. High quality Lamb rack chops. Marinated well. All the above were served with onions and Grilled vegetables.Tried the Homemade Manikesh (authentic flatbread) with Zattar. Had a lovely sheen and texture. Taste - subtle.Ended with Baklava - loved the texture and the taste. Just perfect. No flaws. Mahalabia - something different. Middle Eastern Pudding. One can play around with ingredients. Go for it.Overall - in love with this place. Would be back soon.Ps. By the way the chef is from Lebanon with 30 years of experience and apparently the elder brother of one of the Lebanese chefs working at a leading 5 star property in India. Keep up the good work.Service was fantastic - Thanks team. Cheers.

Had a nice strong flavour of mint... #recommendedOn our table were-🔹Falafel Salad- Fresh Lettuce, cucumber, onion served with Tahini Sauce topped with crumbly Falafel...was good 😃🔹Hummus- Was amazing with garlic flavour and lots of olive oil!!! #musthave🔹Moutabbal- Chargrilled eggplant with sesame paste and pomegranate seeds shaped as a bowl and poured with lot of olive oil in the cusp! Tried sesame and eggplant combo for the first time...🔹Fattouch - Crispy exotic Veggies with crisps (maida based fries) and pomegranate seeds... Liked!🔹Tabouleh - It was again eggplant based... Went really well with the breads!🔹Batata Harra - Nicely fried potato cubes topped with lemon juice, corriander and red chilli flakes... Loved it! #recommendedA new dessert that I tried here was🔹Mahalabia...It was Lebanese Cream(not very sweet and semi solid in consistency) with strawberry squash layer on the top... And roasted pistachio crush topped on it! Love trying such variety from distant places😍Arabic music was playing in the background while all the servers dressed as Arabs... Quite an ambience they have created in open air... Service was quick...Enjoyed the dinner...Would recommend to visit this one to enjoy authentic Lebanese food😇

We love Lebanese food, & we have got another place for our frequent cravings. What a lovely and breezy place. It’s an outdoor seating but made really comfortable & cute. The staff is super attentive, helpful & quick. The food was equally great. Loved everything we tried. We started with:Lemon Mint: a refreshing drink. Great taste of mint and lemon, too refreshing! We continued with cold mezze platter:It consisted of-Salads: Fattouch & Tabuuleh, both these salad were fresh & delicious. Taste was brilliant. Enjoyed each bite.-Cold Mezze: Hummus, Hummus Beiruty, Moutabbal, Baba Ganouj. Each of them were amazing. Our favourite was the hummus beiruty, it was creamier that the original, with garlic, parsley & lemon.-Khubz & Saj bread: khubz was freshly baked bread, little thicker. While saj was more like a thinner & softer bread. Both the bread went brilliantly with the mezze. The cold Mezze Platter was huge & filling. We were so full that we had to skip on hot mezze. But we were happy with the fresh and finger licking food.We ended our meal with the day special dessert; it was a custard with milk, Lebanese cream topped with strawberry syrup & pistachio. The cream had rose flavours. Each bite gave flavour of all, rose, cream, strawberry, pistachio. It was a divine.Definitely coming back specially for this & hummus beiruty.
