Only khichadi....but good variation. And all are tasty and yummy
Its nice restaurant seems hygienic, food quality is good, but bit expensive and no parking for 4 wheelers, so family visit is difficult, its chaas, methimalaimutter, and sev tomato are awesome
Amazing place to order food from. One of the best Khichadis i have had. Especially their Vrindavan special khichadi
I have been here 4 years ago with my family. We had worst North Indian Food and we decided not to have food here again. In past few years, they created the hype that cook and kitchen management have been changed still I wasnt confident to try it again.Today due to personal reason, we had to order food from outside and we thought to give a try to Khichadi Samrat with all the hype! We ordered(parcel) Punjabi Thalis for my entire family (6 people). Oh man.. What to say.. Really really Bad taste of Vegetables.. Infect it wasnt veggis, it was just a liquidish gravey. Rotis were good and soft, Rasgulla too was good.. But without sabji.. How can you eat 3 Rotis ??Why they do not work on the quality aspects. Charge little more but give quality considering the crowd and area you are into.!I recommend to take away Thali from Matru samaj or New Zelam Hotel which are 2-5mims away from this location.
Best ever for north indian food
Good place for Rajasthani dinner.. You should try Masala Dalbati here though available only on Thursday and Sunday. Various types of Khichadi can be tried. Masala khichadi was my choice. They serve tasty Dal Dhokali too. Buttermilk also good. While you are here, you can have gulab jamun and gajar halwa in dessert.
Good food reasnable rate
We have been there for light dinner and they have 5-6 varieties of khichadi from which we had kathiawadi and palak khichadi which was really good in taste, although the price was little high.... As we observed all other customers were having thali which was reasonably good in quantity and price was below 100, whereas not any other single plate item was below 100... So you can try out this if you are in cp tank area
Great Food, specially if you are craving for home food while in S Mumbai. Average ambience, Great service, excellentat old world prices.....just remember to releive yourself as the place lacks rest rooms....
Good food. Vrundavan thali is great with reasonable price. Khichadis are bit overpriced. Dal-Dhokli tastes sweet.
Would you believe if I told you that one thali costs RS.110. Yes you heard it right. Not only the food is delicious but its yummy and good in quantity. Sufficient for one person as they serve 3 Chapatis + Rice + 2 Bhaji + Dal + Sweet dish. If youre hungry and youre roaming around CP tank circle. Id recommend you to visit this place for some delicious food.Note: After 2:30 the rice is not available as it gets over for the obviy reasosn (*whispers* yummy food).
Love the food here , would advise toning the hot/ spice level while ordering.
Had paneer kadhai and masala papad. the food was fantastic simple and tasty
Nice veg place, for lunch diners like home food
Food quality not as per mark

Good taste but need to improve service quality
Pure Veg Restaurant, with okay food quality and taste. If you are in Buleshwar area you can try.
Third class food , worst service , don’t go there , nearest loat off hotel , very bad experience, staff didn’t know about food details ,
Love all dishes. The staff is polite. Food is fresh and awesome to eat.
Not really samrat of khichdi. Taste is ok ok

Crowded restaurant near cp tank...... I would rate food quality average but it is economical
Must must visit ! The kathiyavadi khichadi and rabri were absolute lip smacking !
Decent and tasy place to try regular items. Pocket friendly and crowded on weekends ( seems to be a good sign)
This place is famous for Khichdi but you should try Parathas.
Pathetic service.. Stale food sent in parcel thali. And chapatis missing.. After calling and asking for it... Past half an hour told it was sent back because no1 was home.. Food quality also bad
I ordered Masala Dal baati yesterday, since it is available only on thurs and sunday.I was getting craving of Dal baati from last 02 days, since i am expecting, i was searching for a tasty as well as pocket friendly option so i found Khichdi Samrat on Zomato. It was delicious i got a parcel since i was done with my lunch, i ate in dinner, Quantity was good, taste, aroma everything was perfect.Only thing i regretted was having it fresh, next time for sure.5/5 sufficient Quantity of ghee was packed with baati, and Baati was well roasted, crispy and tasy.
The quality of the food and service best. At best rest rate in this area

Yummy food.. specially paneer chatpata..had special rabdi..very tasty.. overall good experience
A very good hotel near zaveri bazaar. They have very tasty food and special rabdi as well. Staffs are also alright. There was no washroom inside this hotel, which is the only lacking thing in this hotel. People going here should try special rabdi. These guys also serve hot and fresh halwa. Overall a very good experience to fill the appetite.
Extremely disappointing place,Disappointing servicePathetic experienceUnprofessional place..Highly regretted visiting this place.
Place is small, but serves wide menu. Cheaper on pocket and decent food
Really nice restaurant...you will get authentic Kathiyawadi and Rajasthani food along with Punjabi options. Do try dal bati and various types of imhouse khichdi.
Nolonger only khichadi, now truely Samarat of every thing 👌🔥
Pathetic waiters services.....also usually trying to avoid online transactions from credit/debit card ...food quality Okok.. .only good thing is it looks neat and clean atleast
Dal baati is an Indian dish comprising dal (lentils) and baati (hard wheat rolls).[1] It is popular in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh (especially in Braj, Nimar and Malwa regions).Dal is prepared using tuvaar dal, chana dal (prepared by removing skin of split chickpeas), mung dal, moth dal, or urad dal. The pulses or lentils are cooked together after being soaked in water for a few hours. First, a small amount of vegetable oil is heated in a frying pan and then the seasoning rai-jeera(mustard and cumin seeds) is added into the hot oil. Then green chilli, garlic and some spices including hing, red chilli, haldi, coriander, ginger are added. There may be a sweet and sour version of dal in some regions. Finally, the boiled daal is added and cooked.Baati is a hard bread made up of wheat flour commonly known as aata. Wheat flour is kneaded with little bit of salt, dahi (yogurt) and water. Tennis ball-sized round balls of this dough are cooked in a well-heated traditional oven. When the baati becomes golden brown in colour, it is greased with ghee and is then served with dal, rava ladoo, rice, pudina chutney, kairi (raw mango) chutney, green salad with lots of onion, and fresh buttermilk (chass).[2]
Rajasthani Dal batti my favorite but this is only Sunday and Thursday
Delicious food...must try place for everyone..Weve tried kichdi, daal baati, chole batore, chaas, gajar ka halwa..Every dish was just amazing..Reasonable prices..Place is little crowded, so might need waiting depending on the time and day of ur visit...Weve seen swiggy delivery guys waiting there too...so, Im definitely gonna order again sooon..

Best place to have traditional foodIf u are lover of traditional food than dont miss out
If u lover of khichadi than go there definitely
Very difficult to identify cuisine and tastes of foods served. The name KHICHDI SAMRAT dont justify name! It should be POOR TASTE SAMRAT. The worst taste ever in Predominantly GUJARATI Area. Visit if you want to waste your money and spoil your mood. I will never come or look at the restaurant.
Amazing place for Rajasthani Dal Batti.
Average, nothing special, Punjabi thali had but item were not hot
Good Indian traditional taste food. Need to improve the quality of man power and vessels.
Had an interesting halt at this place. Doesnt provide fast food but you get authentic Gujrati food and service. The kulad lassi is a must have.
Simple, decent food. Nothing fancy, try masala khichdi, dal khichdi wid tadka.
More than 10 varieties of khichdi diet food.. very nice
O star pathetic khichdi I have ever had. Who puts kishmish and kaju in khichdi. I have ordered vrindavan khichdi but they delivered special khichdi. Pathetic khichdi dont ever order from there.
Very good food and reasonable rates. Good option to have meal.
Delicious dal khichdi just as perfect as its named. A must try veg diwani handi, veg toofani, paneer chingari, kadi tadka, paneer chatpata, kathiawadi khichdi, sp dal dhokli, dal bati & jodhpuri gatta saag.
Average taste of the food, as per price!
