I was at Fern Chembur in Feb 2021 for the mandatory hotel quarantine for the overseas travellers. The service is excellent and they are very well organized when it comes to keeping guests well informed of the quarantine procedures. The room is impeccable and the room service is punctual. Food served was delicious and well presented right from breakfast to dinner, they do not dissapoint you in anyway.

Need improvement in guest relationship. Also need more cleanliness. Property need repair and redone

One of the best hotel in this segment. Room facilities and staff cooperation is good. Food quality and varieties of food and drinks is great. You can bargain for the final price based upon your duration of stay. This hotel worth its price.

Being a 4 star hotel i believe rooms should have bathtub/Jacuzzi. Only one soap in washroom! Now a days even 3 star hotels has separate shower gel and body gel! Would prefer to go in 3 star if this is 4 star! Also, GST on food is 18% which is supposed to be 5% whatever the reason it may be! I think its hotel’s responsibility to take care on 18% GST & not to be borne by guest/customer. Overall Rooms are clean & all other equipments working is good

This is 4 star hotel located in Chembur. There is a club also infront of the building where you can enjoy all the outdoor activities.

Choose this place for quarantine. Worst hotel I have ever lived in. Location of the hotel is good.The flush in the toilet not working. Refrigerator not working.Your food order is delayed up to a hour or either forgotten. Quality of food is bad. For a quarantine person they serve dal rice and a veg or nonveg dish everyday. In the name of nonveg there is some gravy with boiled chicken pieces in it.Even house keeping forget what you have asked for. Air conditioning in the rooms are controlled through reception. If you have to increase or decrease temperature you need to call reception.In my seven days stay the room was just cleaned twice.

Excellent stay! Rooms are clean and spacious. In room lighting could improve a bit but overall if youre looking for a great place to stay in Chembur, look no further. They offer 24x7 in-room dining, which is great for those late night hunger pangs! Food is delicious and hygienic. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay! Loved every bit of the hospitality. Would recommend this hotel for any stay in Mumbai. Only issue was with the menu and telephone director, kindly make that separate and in plain sheets. A book is not an ideal way for guests to access them.The hotel is very close to the main road and Chembur naka. Also the staff is friendly. The hotel has all the facilities for a good stay.

Officially, I believe that The Fern Residency rates as a 4 Star establishment. During my stay I would agree with that rating for the majority of time spent within the hotel. However, their were brief spells when The Fern Residency would be best described as a 3 Star or possibly 3.5 Star. Despite my room being a non-smoking room, their was a distinct tobacco odour during my 2 day stay. Also, the odd frayed wire and non-working light bulb were disappointing to note.The complimentary breakfast was, at best, mediocre and certainly not to the standard of a 4 or even 3 Star hotel. Staff were exceptional and very helpful at all times. The Hotels people made that element of my stay 5 Star! Overall, I would recommend The Fern Residency albeit cautiously.

The Acres Club and Fern Residency.Great club and public hotel. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Place is clean and the food is very good. They hold many weddings here in the fall and winter months.

Hall has got mini kitchen, mini bar, hot and cold beverages, sofa set, TV and study lamb.Bedroom comes with attached bathroom and washroom which has got finest and Comfortable Facilities. Bedroom has got double bed with TV, Lamb, Water and Cupboards. Bathroom comes with Bath-tub and proper basic bathroom essential.Theres also a In-house Restuarant Which provide breakfast, lunch and dinner with buffer and ala-carte. The restaurant is multi-cusine which serves North Indian, Chinese and Thai.

The Fern Chembur is a good place to stay. Rooms are spacious, Clean n neat with every possible amenities. Room service is quick actually. Staff is well trained and courteous.Food is not so good. Breakfast is reasonable but buffet diner is not worth the money that we spend. Food doesnt taste great either. Need lot of improvement on the taste. Vegetrians like me look for variety of dishes which were missing.Swimming pool is not in the same property and you may perhaps share it with the members of the club so I thought skipping it.Stay wise it was good. Location is good too.

Very clean and comfertable hotel to stay. Rooms are maintained well. We stayed here for two nights. Staff is very attentive and well mannered. Breakfast spread is also very good and non repeative. Food at art house is also good.

Good hotel, good amenities, taste of the food was great. but the layout of the breakfast was average. take rooms preferably on higher floors. just a word of caution with the hotel just click a picture of the stuff at the mini bar , they purposely keep certain items short and charge later while checkout. the reason I am not penalising them on the rating is because the rest of the stuff was actually good.

During our stay on the 21st of Dec 2019 and check out on the 22nd of Dec 2019 , we were in for a shock. We came down to the reception for checkout at 12 pm , while waiting for the bill the staff and manager came to us asking about a small floor hand towel thats normally put in the bathroom for wiping the legs . They could not find it so started questioning us and made us wait . There house keeping guy found it in under the basin after 10 minutes - all this while we were sitting at the reception.For this hand towel ( a small dirty piece of cloth ) they made us wait till almost 1 pm for mistake made by their house keeping staff Rohit Dongre. My wife , my daughter and myself were made to wait for almost an hour for a petty hand towel and later on found by there own staff . I had to open all my bags to find that towel , really it was a painful and disrespectful checkout , first time in my 25 years of travel worldwide.There is no valet parking at this hotel .I had requested a late check out the earlier night and there staff at the reception had confirmed a 1.30 pm late checkout the next day , to my surprise i got a call in the room at 11.45 am asking as to what time am i checking out . The night staff hadnt informed the morning staff etc. No communication within the staff members and non professional behavior and attitude.It is overrated and overpriced for service , staff and amenities.The entire staff made us wait for that dirty one small piece of hand towel .The staff that rude and not at all co-operative were Mr.Naushad Sheikh , Miss Anshiya Khan , Mr.Ashok Matkar . Mr. Rohit Dongre , Mr.Sujit Jha and Mr.Somnath saha.After they found the hand towel in the room , they started blaming it on each other ( i asked them isnt it that they work for the same hotel )It is overrated and overpriced for service , staff and amenities.Highly avoidable property , bad vibes , no valet parking and sad staff

This hotel is very well maintained with a top notch management that is eager to meet and exceed the customer expectations. My room was spacious with a nice view from the 5th floor. Everything worked well at all times. Very consistent level of quality and service during my three weeks stay here. It is in partnership with a club that is a few yards from the front door which provides a pool, gym and additional places to eat. The hotels restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants I have tried (and living in the US I have tried dozens of them). I stayed here for three weeks and was as comfortable and happy as I was in average 4 star hotels in the US. Great place!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are soft which some people like, some dont, food is only okay, not a fan of the food we had. The service is pretty good and quick.

Excellent service and amenities

Nice hotel for a short stay. But look finer and youd notice a few areas of improvement. The elevators could do with improvement. They seldom stop at your floor. Quality and variety of food could be better. Shower closet in the bathroom doesnt contain the water. But having said that, the staff is very helpful and courteous. If all youre looking for is a place to put up during a wedding or a business trip, youll probably find FRC hard to ignore at this price point

Recently i stayed at Fern Residency, chembur in Hazel suite. The hotel is decent. My stay was cozy. My room was spacious with a living room and bathroom with a bathtub. Inside my room there was a microwave, a minibar. To avoid plastic they have kept organic water inside a glass bottle. The room has a device in which we can switch on and off the lights, low or high the ac temp and many. I had my lunch inside the restuarant there and the food was delicious. A must visit.

Had checked in on a MAP package. The upfront charges (ostensibly corporate rates ...) were rather high for whatever was dished out during my three nights stay. Online travel sites offer same rooms at 40 to 45 % of what I had paid. Food is good but the room facilities are not in sync with the rates charged. Also, more professionalism needs to be demonstrated by the front office and cafe personnel.One should negotiate hard for a good deal in this place before checking in.

Comfort stay, food was good got an offer coupon of 500 rs from the hotel on food which was very good. food is tasty and the way they serve the food is also commendable. they allowed early check-in for me without any charges which again was a very good thing. they definitely deserve 5 star wrt accomodation, facilities, food and cleaning.

Stayed couple of nights only but I did experience some warm hospitality. Rooms are clean, linen is fresh and well kept, staff is very courteous and warm, well maintained premise with sufficient parking. They try to balance their breakfast spread well with Indian and Western dishes. You have idli and pancakes, some veg cheese or potato bites and suasages, upma and oats, fresh fruits and salads and quite some more with an omelette station, fresh juices and nice yeah and coffee of choice. Room service May tend to be slow...Overall, just the right place for a quick business trip.

Nice hotel. Excellent food at the restaurant. Staff goes above and beyond. Its awesome having access to the pool, gym, and restaurants at the Acres club (loved the food at their pub). If theres a wedding going on. Ask security if they can show you inside. I saw three weddings while I was there. Beautiful.There really isnt much else in walking distance, besides a pharmacy and a coffee day shop. Be prepared to take a TukTuk or a cab to get elsewhere.. (ask front desk for a business card so you can show the driver taking you back) - most drivers know where the acres club is. But not the hotel.

The hotel staff is very helpful and kind, however there are several flaws in the property. Firstly, the rooms are humid and smell strobgly of mold. Secondly, due to humidity in the walls, the paint just peels away. Thirs, the furniture in the rooms looks old and tired. The breakfast is basic and the fresh fruits and vegetable sectiin is not bring replenished properly. The location of the hotel is quite far from any point of interest and the surroundings are quite shabby. With that being said, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

A beautiful place to stay at. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have a great housekeeping staff and provide very great amenities. The mini fridge products are available at MRP (yes, not at a premium). They also have club facilities (pool, games, etc). My only complaint is regarding the food. We did not enjoy the food at all, and we had to order in for both the days we were there.

Good resort, great frontline with lovely ambience

Clean bathroom, spacious room. Good breakfast with continental and Indian options (khichdi, noodles, idli, sambar, kheer, cakes, donuts, masala pav, chai, milkshakes, fruit, fruit juice etc.) clean the room daily and fresh towels daily. Decent WiFi connection although the whole of India is pretty slow. They can supply bottled water if you need it, its not complimentary. For some reason my room had a constance flow of mosquitoes appearing from somewhere which was very annoying !!!
