Food - average. We ordered a mushroom dish, butter chicken pao, malai broccoli, Bengali puchka and then chocolate dirt pile. Of all this, broccoli and puchka were good. The others were average. The reason we had to order the butter chicken pao was that their chicken tikka (the only other boneless chicken dish they had) was not available to be served. And the chef couldn’t whip up something boneless specifically for my daughter and sister.Service - average. We requested for the upper floor seating. Were denied stating that it’s not open. 15 mins later they were dishing out all tables on the upper floor. Make a customer happy guys!! Don’t be robots to live by a timeline only when you will open the upper floor. God gave human beings brains. That said, overall serving crew had a touch of arrogance. Not sure for what reason but yes there was not an iota of warmth.Drinks - had a Hoegarden draught. Cannot ho wrong there. And my sis had the jeigermesiter ice tea. The ice tea was not up the mark.

I had been to this place with a bunch of friends. Im blown by the quality of service and food here. Id totally recommend this place to anybody who loves indian fusion food. We ordered the CTM (Chicken Tikka Masala) and Mutton Irachi Pepper Fry. Both dishes were exceptional. For starters, we ordered Chicken Bhuna Lolipop and Mutton Keema Naan. Mutton Keema Naan was delicious with amazing toppings of masala sev. Chicken Bhuna Lolipop was a little on the spicy end and had a small side of salad and chutney.I absolutely loved this place and Id totally recommend it to everyone!

This place has a great ambience and the food presentation is also great. Each and every food item we ordered had a different and a unique taste to it. The small appetizers that they serve in between are also really good and a good concept. From the street section is the one I enjoyed the most from the menu. But then the prices are a bit too high for the portions served, but all in all this is a great place to visit and the service is pretty quick!

Farzi cafe at High Street Phoenix is genuinely a classy place with some really good fancy food.Best part about this restaurant is it serves simple dishes in an absolute fancy and gastronomy way.Taste wise the dishes are delicious and it excites you to try out another one.We tried couple of dishes and we were exited to checkout what new has been done for a simple dish like Tomato Soup.Recommended Dishes-Avocado Pachhadi SaladMalai BroccoliPizza KulchaKhasta GujjiaThe above dishes were fantastic and the presentation was also eye catching.Chef Shrirangar Ondekar made sure that our experience was flawless.Guess what we tried ?‘Bharwan Karela’ in the Maincourse recommended by the chef and it turned out to be very good. We never like Karela as such but this one was much better. We also tried Herb Crusted Paneer Tikka which was nothing but a Paneer MakhaniThe staff knows their work properly. Special thanks to Mr. Akshay for the spectacular service. In desserts do go for Rasmalai Tres Leches it’s the best.

We went to this cafe on lazy evening but the food made our laziness go away.We got a chance to try out their two signature dishes 1) Charcoal Chicken with mayonnaise and sesame seeds.2) Dal Chawal Arancini.Where to begin with -The ambience of the cafe was so modern and so pleasing to eyes that we just went into dining mood as soon as we entered.Though we didnt had drinks, the bar counter was just lit.Would love to come again and try it out.Coming to service and food. We were spellbound the moment we had that charcoal chicken which was as delicious as it appeared to be.Coming to Deal Chawal Arancini. Arancini, which is essential a Sicilian dish with an Indian twist, dal and rice both are stuffed to make a ball which is coated with bread crumbs and the fried. It tastes absolutely delicious.Overall we had nice time and would love to come back.☺Food - 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5Ambience - 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5Service - 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5Price - 💸💸💸__Follow @we.eat.everything.delicious on *Instagram* and Follow We Eat Everything Delicious on *Zomato* for more yum content.

The ambience is Extravagantly Classy as expected from the brand . They have two tier seating with a supreme decor .The staff is very polite and Courteous . Chef Akshay did a great job guiding us to order best dishes from the menu and also briefed us about new Farzi style additions in the menu .Lets take you on a ride of what all we savored at our favorite place :Soup and Salad :Cream Corn Chowder:An healthy and light soup to start a Scrummy meal this time .Caesar Salad with egg bhaja:Spot on salad dressing that did belnd immaculately with the Ice berg lettuce . The egg bhaja complimented very well with a bite of saladStarters :Ratatouille Gujia:Crisp pockets stuffed with fresh Exotic veggies . A must have as it really goes well with those Cocktails .Mini Rajkachori:A Signature Dish and our all time favorite whenever we visit Farzi . Did taste Supreme as it always does .Golgappa platter:We tried this first time . The Presentation is top class however it would have tasted superb if the water of pani puri was super chilled . A little bit improvement and it will definitely rock that Farzi Menu .Kachchhi Dabeli :This one really came close to one of the best hawkers Dabeli which we enjoy in town .They Farzi version of our favorite Local dabeli did brought a huge delight to us .Dal Chawal Arancini , achar papad chutney :Indeed a very innovative dish which tastes really well along with those luscious Cocktails .Cocktail:Gun Point :One of the best drink on their Signature Cocktails Menu . The Glass in which the Drink comes will bring a Smile to your face. Most importantly the mixologist has a great talent to give a perfect touch and taste .Mains :Too full after we had those starters and Salads so just tried this one dish from Mains Menu :Char grilled vegetables with banarasi phukhtaan curry with Lachha Paratha .A Classic Fusion of those Exotic Grilled veggies with A super Luscious Banarasi Cashew based Curry . The laccha paratha was perfectly done and complimented the curry beautifully .Dessert :Parle-G Cheese Cake:Cant Resist to have this one even though was almost full . It is our all time Favorite Farzi Dessert which we can have almost every day . If you are Farzi dont miss out on this heavenly Delicacy of the place.Overall a mesmerizing experience and cant wait enough to visit this place soon again .Thanks for reading our detailed review

Farzi cafe has opened its door at Phoenix Lower ParelTell me about the ambience ?It is hustling with new decor which speaks of wooden walls and ceiling with a tall bar settingIs it expensive? It is expensive say non vegetarian food and alcohol (two cocktails) would turn out to be 3000-3500 for twoIs it value for money? The restaurants by Karla Chain are all about the experience and have set a name for themselves . Also they give a twist to the ingredients so I would say a yes. What did we order ?Drinks:1. Farzi TinaIt is Vodka orange lime vanilla lime juice and passion fruit soda . I found this pretty normal and nothing extra ordinary.Rating : 2/52. Farzified bongThis drink made it totally up!It is Vodka rum gin peach lime juice and cranberry juice . The way it is presented is amazing. Also it totally gives you the kickRating : 5/5Lets get to food1. Jeera namak para ( chilled avocado soup)I liked the cold soup a lot. It tastes a lot like paani Puri .Rating : 52. Ratatouille gujjiyaThis had a very differently tangy taste making it amazingRating : 53. Duo of stuff mushroomI found it a bit like spicy . But a good twist to theWada PavRating: 44. kacchi dabeliTo be honest I found this hyped as our normal dabeli tastes amazing. But the presentation was good.Rating : 35. Paneer taka tak BaoCrispy Thai veg BaoThese two BAOS were amazing. Loved the paneer one the mostRating : 56. Desi chow meinLoved it completely. Again the chow mein is very slurpy along with great tasteRating : 4.77. Matka CholeThey have kept it simple with chole and small bhaturesRating : 4.56. Flourless chocolate barThis is THE BEST! What kind of amazing chocolate have they used! It is a total melt in the mouthRating: 6/5 hahaDescribe the place in one line:Would go here again to please eyes and amuse myself with innovation

Food - 9/10Service - 10/10Ambiance - 10/10VFM - 9/10What stands out - The presentation of every dishCame here to celebrate my birthday with my wife on Thursday for dinner. The place was fairly full. The place is located right at the center of the mall with a lot of footfalls and a large mall screen just outside but once inside, its very private and cozy. The music is amazing. We had a great service experience with the chef also checking on us ever so often. To my surprise this place is not as expensive either. They have done some amazing work with food. The best part is the presentation. All the dishes are very uniquely presented. The portion size is also pretty great too for a fine dine place. We loved almost all the dishes that we called for. Definitely call for mini raj kachori and peeli mirch ka tandoori paneer. We also called for one cocktail and loved it. Dont miss out on chocolate dirt pile for dessert. We called for the following dishes1. Gun Point (cocktail) - 10/102. Peeli mirch ka tandoori paneer (appetizer) - 10/103. Chiili Cheese poppers (appetizer) - 9/104. Dal Chawal Arancini balls (appetizer) - 8/105. Mini raj kachori (appetizer) - 10/106. Location and proximity from Station:Farzi Cafe has it’s third outlet now in Mumbai; the second one in Lower Parel itself. This one is situated within Phoenix Mall. It’s a 10 minute walk from Lower Parel station. Also you can come via Mahalakshmi station via a cab ride in 5-10 minutes.Ambiance and seating:The ambiance is like the other Farzi outlets. This one too has a good fine dine vibe to it. There’s a bar counter which is almost huge up to the first floor. That many bottles are stocked. They have seating on the ground floor and also the first floor too. Approx 50-60 people can be seated at once.Food and Drinks (Appetizers):We tried a lot of appetizers and mains thanks to Chef Ashwini Pai who made sure we had a good experience. For cocktails we tried;Bombay Julep - The combination of bourbon whisky with mint leaves always is a hit. Taste wise, I loved this concoction and for some reason the overpowering of mint in this drink is a blessing. Definitely a recommendation for those who like whisky. We can try this apart from our usual old fashioned and whiskey sour.Bootlegger’s knees - There’s gin, cardamom, honey syrup and lime juice. Although the taste is fantastic and I’d love to have this more often, it’s the quantity of the cocktail which was a bit disappointing. The presentation for this drink is amazing. For food we tried;Avocado Mint Gazpacho - This cold soup has a lot of mint and avocado. Surprisingly the spices like cumin and black salt used in this makes this soup a perfect appetizer before you begin your meal. You’ll keep asking for more.Pork Ribs Chilli - Being a catholic, I’ve been exposed to pork dishes a lot. There’s a fine line between cooking well and not well. If overcooked or under-cooked, then mutton, beef and pork doesn’t taste that good. Fortunately for us, the ribs were fantastic. Loved the meat and it was the star of the evening. Please try this if you can.Chilli Chicken Guntur - Here, the chicken chunks are exposed to a lot of spices, garlic, onion and pepper. The taste is more towards the spicy side. This is also served with ori Roti. Although as a suggestion, Kori Roti usually goes well with gravy and not with dry dishes. Maybe this can be worked upon.Kheema Kulcha - The small kulchas look cute and are bite sized. There’s a generous amount of kheema in it and is served with mint chutney. We found this decent.Tempura Fried Prawns: I am not a prawns fan but the one served here is exceptional. It has good taste. I would definitely ask a prawns to try this.Amritsari Fish and Chips: Here the fish is crumb fried and is very decent. It’s your basic fish and chips with the indian touch of masala.Mains:Baby Lamb Nihari: I love nulli nihari always. There’s a taste to it like no other meat can deliver. It all depends on the lamb and it’s age. The baby lamb here is decent and not the best I’ve ever had. This is served with naan.Shawarma Biryani: I was surprised to read this name. There’s a lot of biryani and on a tall skewer placed are lamb pieces. There was raita too for this. The dish went to a more tangy taste but it’s totally worth trying this out. It’s not everyday you get to taste the best of both; a shawarma and biryani!Goan Prawn Curry with Coconut Rice -The bets dish of the night. I liked the coconut rice as it was fully drenched and cooked in coconut milk. The taste was very pleasant of the prawns too. They al;so had gravy in a small bowl separately for you to decide how much gravy is needed. The gravy is tangy and gives this dish the perfect punch.Desserts:Parle G Cheesecake - This is your basic cheesecake which is broken into small pieces and Parle G biscuits are used to hold this making it look like a sandwich. This is also served with rabdi which is thick and few cadbury gems are used for presentation. This was only decent. Rabdi was better. Conclusion:Overall, Farzi Cafe is always a hit and the food here is not your usual dishes that you try. There’s a good change and they are doing well with their offerings. Do try them out for sure.

So this review is solely for the ambience and the food we had at night. The ceiling was leaking water constantly in our food and table as we tried to find a seat. We talked to the manager about it and all he had to say was that it was a centralized AC system and he couldnt help it. While I understand that he cant do anything in that moment, the issue has to be addressed ASAP.The food was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary. A little experimental too but nothing that a constant water drip cant compensate for! The water drip comprises the sanitation of the entire restaurant.I would suggest going in the morning to avoid the extremely loud music. All in all I wont be back here again for a long time.

Farzi Cafe serves progressive Indian cuisine. It basically takes authentic Indian dishes and makes them quirky and fun to have while maintaining the essence of the original tastes and flavours.

Nice ambience. Over priced. Needs to add on more to menu. In all good experience. Need to come up with good offers and happy hour types schemes.

I love visiting Farzi and I must say that the warm hospitality of Manager - Rohit Malik has always been quite warm and kind. The overall ambience, food quality, menu, interesting eateries in between dishes makes the overall experience truly awesome. Have always loved visiting the Phoenix Mall @ LP for a good time. Cheers.
