Awesome food! But.. waiting timing is more.It is a noisy place so persons coming with family members may not like its ambience. It is a good place for get-together with friends and colleagues. But keep the group size with 10 or less members. What I liked the most here is its billing counter. It resumbles crowded cash counters of public sector banks. Only one person was there to accept cash and give back the change. So anybody can escape without paying the bill 🤣🤣
Quality food. Never had any bad experience. Always try to deliver the best quality. Best place for friends and family.also reasonable prices for the quality food. Must try in kollam.
Nice. Always crowded. Excellent food.slightly expensive. Nice service. If you are in kollam must visit at least once that never disappoint you. Lot of space is available in hotel, also out side, that is infront of the ramees restaurant.we 6 friends tried 6 different food 5 are happy with their own food but the noodles are not excellent it is average.
Taste of dishes are really awesome. Especially dragon chicken ! Lot of chicken type dishes are there its really good. When we reached the restaurant it was too crowded and we had to wait...we were sceptical whether to wait or go but immediately they got us a comfortable place to seat. The food served was too good at reasonable rates and we realized no wonder it was crowded. People not only love good food but good rates too... Anytime recommended place to dine.
Good ambiance.Good serving.Chilly chicken, chicken 65, mixed fried rice and noodles were so delicious.Authentic taste.Neat wash rooms.
Ambience is good, restaurant is spacious, quick service and delicious bargain is the must have food, food isnt expensive and very affordable.Great service by the restaurant peopleThis place is usually very crowded, all credits to their quality food . A must visit restaurant when in Kollam
I was completely blown away by this restaurant! After having an underwhelming experience with food at Varkala, this was such a comeback of sorts, quite surprisingly! Had ordered an array or starters here and all tasted amazing. But my pick would definitely be the Boo boo pepper chicken, Kozhi potti therichathu and Bellari beef. The main course we ordered tasted good as well, but nothing exceptional, which is not a negative. The take on their Kozhi potti therichathu with rice which they call it Kozhi potti theri rice was innovative, and it complements the rice so well. Its a fried rice mixed with the starter basically. They have got some interesting drinks on the menu too. Magic lime is something that I would recommend which is lime juice mixed with grape and khas khas seeds. Overall, I really enjoyed the dine-in here. Amazing ambience and lip-smacking food! And the service doesnt fall short of greatness either. Even at peak hours, with the restaurant jam packed, the service was quick and waiters were very responsive.Highly recommended, based on this one time experience. I hope theyre consistent for years to come!
The most attracting factor is ambience of the hotel, and another one is taste-food especially biriyani items. Every one just try
Delicious food, excellent customer service & nice ambience... I highly recommend this restaurant.
Ambience is good, restaurant is spacious, quick service and delicious Biryani is the must have food, food isnt expensive and very affordable.Great service by the restaurant people
Nice ambience great food and reasonable price for the amenities provided.
No option of giving a 0 star. We came to the restaurant at 10pm and they asked for the order without saying a word about closing hours. Waiter was not sure of the veg and non veg options, we had to clarify the order thrice. Chinese Food was below average. Noodles was served without a cutlery. Disposable fork was provided after good 10 mins stating all cutlery is in washing..phew.. Given we were made to dine out, they started to switch off the lights in the area where we were dining. This is after 5 mins post serving the food. Manager was asked to pay us a visit but he decided to not show up despite multiple requests. The other table customers were complaining of wrong food served (non veg served instead of veg), no card payment facility etc. The list seems endless. I am surprised of the overall rating this restaurant has. This would be my 1st and last visit ever to this restaurant.
Best restaurant in Kollam. Both mutton and chicken biriyanis were too good. Arabian shots is a must try here. Chicken cheese roll was also good.
Good service, good quality, staffs are very cooperative
Best restaurant in kollam.. quality food served with very good pricing.. taste , presentation, staff attitude.. superb
Decent biriyani. Can see how it is famous. Good recipe. But they r renovating right now. So bit dusty, smelling of paint, sat out where it was hot af, and the food was clearly being mass prepared
Good ambience, good variety of tasty food .Service (waiter) can improve in terms of speed and responsiveness.
Chicken Biriyani was okay..Mixed fried rice and their spl chilly chicken was delicious.
One of the premium restaurants in kollam city.. Good ambience to sit n eat... There are a wide variety of foods... The lighting inside the restaurant gives us a good mood to dine upon. Moreover the cost of the food items are quiet expensive... So if u r looking for a budget oriented dining, this is not the choice. They also provides wide variety of deserts and juices along with food. The most important thing is that there is always a heavy rush n crowd in peak times and holidays. That only shows how worth the restaurant is... It also offers wide area parking in this hectic city.
Nice place to eat out, with a variety of dishes. The service too was good.
Though the restaurant was good in the beginning, I will say that it’s one of the most overrated restaurants in Kollam. The waiting time is insane, the ambience is suffocating and doesn’t have enough air conditioning though it is said to be an A/C restaurant.Further the waiters don’t even serve you water unless you ask for it. The customer service is very poor. The food is too unhealthy and very oily as well. We are definitely not going back there ever again.
With my experience It’s a classy restaurant both in case of food 😋 and services 💂
We did not felt the restaurant was upto the hype!We ordered Butter Nan,Roti,Chicken pottitherichathu, Beef varattiyathu and passion fruit mojito.Quantity was really less for the price. And unfortunately, for the beef we ordered,we had to seperately order salt as it was lacking it.Mojito was served in a presentable manner and was tasty.Nan and roti were not that soft, but okay.Toilets were also neat.Overall food was just okay.Felt little overpriced for the quantity served!
Ramees started off as an old restaurant near the railway gate close to clock tower. After it was shut down, years later they opened a full fledged high class restaurant behind the LIC building in Chinnakada. They have various kinds of dishes, some of which are not available anywhere else.Their popularity has grown faster than other restaurants from the time of its reopening. Prices are medium to high but the food is worth it
Ramees is one of the best Restaurant in Kollam. It is a Posh Restaurant. The quality of food served is good. They have a wide variety of dishes. The quantity of food served compared to other Restaurants it is quite less. The attitude of the staff and all is good. But there is a great delay in serving. Also the Restaurant is very crowded most of the time it is filled, so there is a chance that you have to wait. The lighting and ambience is very good. There are some games to keep you engaged while you wait.
Ramees restaurant have a spacious parking facilities , while entering the restaurant the team welcome us with all the covid 19 measures , we ordered noodles and spl sarbath which was served to us in a elegant way , food was tasty and price is comparatively high , the team need to work on the wash facility .
Sumptous finger licking non vegetarian food...biriyanis are the spl thing here. Porotta, and all meats in remees style!!yummeee
Food was good, but they dont provide drinking water for free , only bottled water is available which is charged and the funny reply is kitchen is not operational ( we had only biriyani and Schezwan fried rice from a hotel where kitchen is non operational lol)
Very bad experience this time. Went with family, table is outside the restaurant with no proper facilities. Everyone selecting ramees for thier comfort. But now disappointed. No change in rates
Good food... But not a good service. Overall, A good dine-in restaurant at kollam.
Decent food. Little expensive. Sometimes little bit salty
Wonderful restaurant Ive ever been in Quilon. The food is so tasty 👌and very very very much reasonable. The ambience is so thrilling as well as soothing, Ramees is a best place for weekend dinners and hangouts. They also have a variety of juice option.I strongly recommend this place for dinners and hangouts with friends on weekends. The only problem I faced with Ramees is that they dont have a highway frontage. It might me a little bit hard to find the restaurant for new people.
Too much crowd and biryani got over so soon. We tried fried rice and it was ok. Make sure you guys reach by 12.
If want to taste some tasty non veg then its the place.
Beef bellari rice and kozhi pottiterichath must try items
Worst food experience ever fresh lime which is not a little bit cold and wrong food came poor service👎👎👎
The location is good. The restaurant is easily accessible and have ample parking space. Some of their dishes are really good and delicious as well. Beef Bellary rice, chicken biriyani, khadai chicken etc. are highly rated and rightly so. Nonetheless, my main issue with this resturant is their lamentable service. The place got much fabled reputation for slow service. It takes a hell lot of time to get a table. Once you are in, it will take another good 50-60 minutes to get your order!!! Had the misfortune to go there quite a few times with family and friends and had similar experience. And I think the management seems least bothered about the scandalous service. Not worth the hype. Overall experience is bad.
Food tastes ok. I tried chicken biryani and it was not as good as expected. The quantity was enough .
Awesome place to dine outGreat food tooVery family friendly
Price increase dailyAttitude towards coustomer not that good more like dont care attitude.
Seriously one of the best spots to have good food in kollam. Not a really good food reviewer ,but the food they serve at Ramees is of top quality. Hygienic and really tasty food.Definitly recommend the place to all.Whether you go with friends or family , Ramees has got the perfect ambience, and good quality and quantity of fopd for the price you pay. The one star was taken away because of the unmaintained toilets.Even though Ramees gets a good amount of customers everyday, the toilets have not been maintained for over many months.
One of my most horrible dining experience is Ramees restaurant. Went there by the much hyped brand name that they have created but not maintained.Pros : ample parking availableCons: They are absolutely short staffed or the staff present dont bother to care whether the customer is ok.We were told our table was ready which was actually not ready and had to wait and watch them making it ready in a packed restaurant.Service is poor. One guy runs from table to table taking orders when he has time. If you are lucky your time will come. Otherwise keep waiting.Food is mediocre. Just average or less. Not more. Quantity doesnt match what you payRestroom and wash area will suddenly run out of water which will keep you waiting .Basically if all the restaurants are shut then go to this place at your own risk.
As always the food is awesome.... super ambience.... but the waiting is something which is very pathetic... either you guys should increase your dining area or find some other solution.... otherwise everything is good....
Food we picked up recently is good.Do not accept cards. Only cash or UPI pay
During these lockdown days, the home delivery of food through online platforms was worth mentioning. Biriyani and other dishes is affordable and tastier. Ample parking space is here in the midst of crowded Kollam town.
The restaurant is a delight.I savoured in their Bombay Tawa Beef. It is a mixture of pepper fried beef slices cooked in curry leaves and other assorted spices. I also enjoyed their butterfly chicken- tender pices of bonless chicken wrapped in a supple slice of potato. Their juice variants are also well-prepared.It’s the best restaurant in Kollam. Theyve established two branches in the district- one at chinnakkada and the other at Kottiyam.
The worst biriyani ever...Bland chicken and rice..Then what is the purpose of buying a biriyani🙂🥲....Service was bad too...Had to wait almost an hour for just a below average biriyani..Over hyped for sure
I went there on 2 days before, ordered mutton biriyani;I got mutton biriyani but its not hot....totally disappointed ,there was not enough staffs for supply so long delay is happening and the main disappointment was no option for paying through debit card.I dont know why these much people going there,I saw several peoples asking their delay for delivery, not recommended there....
One of the Best restaurant in Kollam town. Tasty food and really good ambience. Its usually crowded during lunch and dinner times. Expect some waiting time. Sometimes the staff service can be a bit clumsy because of the crowd. Ramees special items in the menu are definitely worth a try. A bit on the pricey side, however considering the quality of food its a great place to dine at.
The dining is in outside due to covid 19 however the scran was delicious :)
We ordered the tandoori chicken, beef roast, butter chicken, mutton biriyani and porotta.Their tandoori chicken is tender and delicious, beef roast is spicy and right amount of masala/gravy.Butter chicken, chicken pieces soft, could have more flavour. We also ordered their lime juice, its served in a special type of bottle and tastes fresh and tasty.Their porotta is also crispy, soft and served when they are still hot.Mutton biriyani tasted decent, nothing stand out.
Awesome Food..Nice Ambiance... Great Service..
I have no words for this particular restaurant, I in terms of hospitality, in terms of hygiene, in terms of quality, in terms of taste and everything is top notch. Just loved it. Very friendly staff service.Thank you
Bit expensive but good and Tasty Food
Car dining available as well as small scale dining. The quality of food is still nop notch
Beef fry was good🙌🏻The thing named mutton rameesa didnt have any taste of mutton
Located near Chinnakada (near venad agencies), offers a wide range of tasty mouthwatering food.It has adequate parking facility and the staff is also very courteous. Would recommend having Kerala Porotta and Beef Fry.
Great food , good facilities but rally overpriced now a days
The ambiance of the restaurant is good. Its a good restaurant to hang out with friends and family. The quality of the food is acceptable. Many good variety foods are available. The price is reasonable and the service is good with friendly staffs. The area is well maintained.
Foodies should visit here .They are using home made recipies and the manner in which they serve is awesome .There deserts are always special .
Jellikettu chicken was too good.. quantity of friedrice was more for one person.
Great Ambience. Good food. Fair price
Nice place. Calm and cool. Suprb Chicken biriyani.. big menu. Reasonable price.. reccomend it.
Straight up, the food was amazing. It was no short of flavors, and it was well cooked. We ordered some chicken chettinad and mutton, and it was great! My friend loved the iddiyapam, if thats what its called. The starters too, were amazing. I personally loved the Kerala Parotta. The ambience being amazing, had one thing wrong. For a family place, the lights should be better and brighter. If you see any dark pictures for their reviews its cause of the bad lighting there.
Awesome food but wating time ooo its too long
Very tasty food and pocket friendly. Great ambience right in the centre of the city. The menu is mainly non - vegetarian but also had delicious vegetarian dishes. Me being a vegetarian I have tried most of the dishes here. Sumptuous quantity and food quality is nice. Dessert is highlight of this place. Falooda and Rameez special ice cream are must try! It usually gets very crowded on weekends and has a waiting line. Friendly and courteous staff. Staff isnt very attentive during weekends mainly because of the rush. Weekdays I find the staff to be very quick. Overall I would say this is the best restaurant in Kollam as I find myself visiting this place atleast once in 10 days!
