Well it was a weekend and after long discussion we opted for this place ❤️@Marina CafeA sea side upperdeck cafe ❤️ Must Say the view was nice but we had visited many such restaurants but this was not that worth cafe though it was having sea view 😅We found it quite Expensive in terms of food and ambience as it was not that satisfactory.Well but if you all are around colaba and want some leisure with some snacks you can visit here.Also have one suggestion to visit this place after 5:30 - 6 pm to avoid direct sun on you, as its a open place and if you are at the corner table (obviously you will choose one for better view) then sun kissing you might be an issue.🤗😉So my suggestion will be to go for this place by 5:30 - 6 in the evening...Things we ordered :1) Butter chicken flat bread2) Chic Barbeque flat bread3) Chicken Chilly4) Chilly Milly toast

Brilliant place and awesome viewPros:1. The place gives u a beautiful view of the harbour and sea2. The breeze was phenomenal due to its location (5th floor)3. We ordered two dishes from the menu - Keecha papad and tandoori mushroom (both were excellent and were a good combination with beer)4. Staff was nice and service was not bad at all (for a weekend)5. Cost wise - Average (ain’t gonna hurt ur pocket)We paid Rs 900 (approx) for beer and food 😀Cons:1. The cafe manager was slightly rough in conversation while we were checking to switch tables.I would love to visit this cafe again and probably book my table in advance.Loved it

Well inspite of being at a niche place the service was below average.. one person to wait the whole restaurant. Food was good. But have to wait too long for some to take an order or even to get a glass of water. To top, the bill provided was a hand written. Overall experience 2/5. The two stars are for the food only. Not for drinks or the other staff.

Its a great place to enjoy drink with your loved one and a see. Beautiful view of sea and steamers can be enjoy. Service is very slow and menu is too old. Price is moderate and food is good. Best time to visit is in evening.

Came here on a busy day!Loved the honey chilli prawns! The service was a bit slow because of less number of staff waiting tables! There were still a lot of guests waiting for their turn to get the tables arranged!The view is amazing! Its a nice romantic place to go out. Abit on the costlier side. Although the place is usually full so you might have to wait for a while to get your self a table. I had to wait for 30mins.just fyi photos dont turn out to be good as it is fairly dark. Service and staff is good.

This place is beautiful. On the top floor of the harbour hotel. The view is fantastic. A perfect sunset date place.The food is average, service is average as well the good part is there is no serve constantly on your head that makes it date-worthy. They provide alcohol so thats good.The reason for the 5 stars is the view and ambience. The place is at amazing location near Gateway of India.But the service was disappointment. Additionally, there was nothing available from menu. We just had chilli paneer which was not even part of the menu we recieved.

I planned my anniversary here, was very excited for candle light dinner experience but I was very disappointed but place and staff, we ordered beer, whiskey and aachari paneer Tikka, it took more then 15 minz to waiter to bring my drinks and more then an hour for food,also we have to call them for every little thing.service is too too slow and worst, waste of money and time

Cafe Marina is a restaurant. It has roof top sitting also which is more than a bliss. From top you can have look for Gate way of India, Taj Hotel and the best part is sea view. In night you have a look of lights around you. Scenic beauty is awesome!! You can have a lot of pic but if your camera supports night mode. Although I was impressed by the scenes around it but little bit disappointed by the taste of food. I have ordered masala papad, veg roll, cold coffee. Although everybody has their own taste buds.

First of all the roof top view is amazing and seems like a private deck, but be ready to cough out money first ~2 -2.5K upfront! Yes, the restaurant charges upfront and later on settlement is done against actuals.Here comes the catch, once you pay the advance, you’re no longer important.I went with my 4 friends last night, we paid the money upfront, however it started the raining. We asked for refund, but the management was completely reluctant. We had to press a bit to get the money back.To sum up 5 star for the view. Management dismal -5 stars, food and staff 2.5I would recommend to avoid!

The Marina Upper Deck ~ Rooftop CafeI wanted to Visit this place since a long time right before the time they were serving Sheesha with a view.It was evening time when I did visit the place recently with a friend and ofcourse in the evening around 5:30 pm one wouldn’t want to hog a lot when you have already had a late lunch.Since I was meeting a client over there regarding work, it is obvious there was going to be a lot of discussions!We ordered Tea/Coffee whatever they could get us, we learned that this place does not serve any Tea/Coffee which is like really basic for a place to have! But drinks were available! They were really kind enough to get us Tea from their hotel kitchen. Well if I give any rating it will surely be for that.The Tea was apparently very good. Ginger tea to be precise.We sat there for quite sometime. Sitting and talking, until the manager/waiter kept coming and disturbing us whether we wanted to order anything else or not. They also gave us the bill without even asking for it around 6:30.But we were still willing to sit.We asked the manager to take back the bill and ordered some house fries.The fries were soggy and were not good to taste.10 minutes after the fries arrived at the table, the manager kept buzzing around our table to check if we were done or not. He also asked us to eat fast because apparently he had a reservation for that particular table. We also told him we still want to sit and that we are still not done eating, and that there were other tables that are still empty and he can use them. But he insisted that he wanted to join the table which had a big group coming. We were there till 7:30 but no big group buzzed in.One thing the management needs to know, if you have a rooftop and an apparent view, people will want to come and sit for long. You cannot hand them the bill and ask them to leave or ask them to eat fast. If earning money is an issue, get a cover charge per person. That way you can earn money and not disgust people with your behaviour. People move out to enjoy and not a race to finish and leave. It was very embarrassing and disappointing.

The view from up here of the harbour is beautiful. Food is okay, price is okay considering the view premium. Service wasnt top notch, could have been better in terms of mask discipline of waiters, Covid-19 table cleaning protocols, basic hospitality (asking for water before asking if we had finalised our order a third time)

Very uncooperative management.valet parking available in premise only after 6pm before that they wont even allow you to park on ur own. U need find ur own parking outside.They have very strange rules if you want to change your table.Very bad attitude forced us to leave the cafe without ordering

The location is good, but it might be better to visit in daytime or early evening to enjoy the view. Dont go in the night for dinner. Also, the food was OK but the service was terrible. Place is peaceful but the food was not up to the mark.We ordered shahi panner and the gravy was like thick daal and taste was also not too good.Wobbling Tables can sometimes be interrupt your dining experience.Also the view was good but its better to visit when there its windy.

Horrible Staff.. I was asked to move out of my table (which had a sea view ) because I was alone and they wanted to give my table to a group of people who had come after me. They tricked me into thinking they had already reserved the table. I didnt realize then and moved out of that table to a lesser attractive one where the view was not that good. After a while a couple left out of table with the sea view so I just moved into their place. Since I was staying at the same hotel I had thought they would bill it to my room apparently that wasnt the case so I asked the staff to reserve the current table for me and rushed to my room to get my purse.(I had left some of my belonging on the table so that they would reserve ) To my surprise when I came back they had given my table to another group of people. I got hold of the manager and asked him to move them out coz I had reserved it beforehand but the manager kept on asking me to sit somewhere else. I was very irritated by then and was adamant on getting back my table.. Finally the group vacated and let me sit. I wish I could give negative star or something if it ever existed.

Always a Good option for rooftop restaurant in Colaba. Great view, nice atmosphere and delicious food. Good pack! If you are looking for candle light dinner, then this is the one. Only thing is you need to book a table near balcony in advance.

I went with family for dinner. The best part Marina Upper Deck is only the VIEW f on the location.. but all our family members didnt like the service. The service person is drunken, not having proper manner to talk. We ordered some drinks and food as well and said that serve the food after drinks but within 10 minutes, the service person was forced to serve plates & food. We opposed that then only he agreed for serving later.. he also did the mistakes in order. Food was not so tasty, its a below average.I dont recommend this..

Extremely dissatisfied with the behavior of the support staff. My wife and I reached the roof-top place at around 6pm. We wanted to sit at the side tables facing the sea. Although there was one free table at the corner, we were not allowed to sit there. Instead we were told either to occupy the other empty tables or to wait. We were quite surprised as there were no prior bookings on the empty table facing the sea. The only reason provided was that its only for 5 people! The manager seemed to be too busy and hardly talked to us. Inspite of reasoning with the waiters, we were still told to wait if we wanted to sit by the tables facing the sea. We were hurt by the rudeness of the manager and the waiters and left the place immediately. This was our 3rd visit to Cafe Marina and without doubt, will be our last one!

The ambience was really amazing. Its situated on the 5th floor, open to sky with the backdrop of the azure sea and the numerous masted boats swaying on the waves. Its delightful to even watch the hotel Taj or the Gateway of India.The food was good. The prices reasonable. And a good music and illumination.You can experience candle light dinner in the evening. Perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner.

Good sitting place and decent food. The staff is not well polished but they will serve you decently. A bit of shady place but a peaceful one. Its a roof top place and they dont serve alcoholic drinks. Located in South Mumbai near gate way of India but nothing much is visible from your sitting place. They have one designated place which has a good view, to click photographs.
