Thai food is really good here. First time I ate here was in 2007 and since then whenever we crave for good Thai food, we come here. Prawns and fish is really fresh every time. Their curries are freshly cooked and the staff here is very attentive and courteous. One downside is that their helpings are small for the price they charge

Soup and Fried Rice with chicken and Shrimp is awesome. Very disappointed with the crab starter. It was very spicy and just like Indian Bhurji

Have dined at this spot multiple times. The interiors, calm ambience, fine chinaware, grand selection of wines, is the epitome of luxurious dining which makes you transcend to another place. This is as authentic it gets since they have Thai expats cooking in the kitchen, crafting a selection of Thai dishes. Definitely give it a go. Few may find it expensive, but this is definitely a premium location, one should visit at least once.

Visited here for first time ... But I preferred only veg this time .. the ambience is perfect for Thai food. Quick service, perfect seatings, and the menu is good. Tried salad and noodles this time. Drinks may be a good option next time.

Tamnak Thai at Shivaji Park, Cadell Road has been that one Thai restaurant in Mumbai that has been around since ages. After a long long gap, we visited this place on a Monday evening for dinner. You immediately get transported to a different era of restaurants. With white table covers, wooden chairs and that musty fragrance in the restaurant suggesting that its seen a few winters. While I liked that they have maintained the restaurant extremely well, it can do with a slight makeover.Coming to the food, we tried chicken green curry and vegetarian red curry. The food was quite good. One of the better Thai joints that I have come across in Mumbai. While the green curry was simply delicious, I found the red curry was missing something. Everything was there, but the X factor for which I usually order red curry.The staff was courteous but the food felt a little on the expensive side.Good place to visit if you are in a mood for Thai.

Have eaten some good food here in the past. This visit was really bad. Food was half cooked, less quantity and flavour. Had eaten here just a week ago and good food. Tried to bring to the attention of the manager but he conveniently ignored and continued selling alcohol to the other guests in his little trolley. I travelled 18km and spent 2k just to go back home to my Dal chawal. Avoidable.

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened in 1997. Authentic Thai food, unique flavor and unbeatable taste. We love the satay chicken, lamb yellow curry and spicy tom yam soup. The coconut custard made with jaggery is a must try.

I love Thai and even if you make half decent green curry I will love you. The place is chic and under delivers when it comes to green curry(sorry this is metric to judge any new Thai place that I try). However, the pork appetizer was mind blowing. I dont know if the chef makes wonderful pork or the fact that I was having it after 18 months made it taste a lot better than it was. Either ways, full points for the pork and ambience and zero for the green curry.

Tamnak Thai is an amazing fine-dine restaurant. The ambience is great, the food is delicious and staff is well trained and polite. The service was quick. I loved the Thai green curry and Jasmine rice. The restaurant doesnt have many options for dessert. The dishes are priced reasonably. Id love to dine here again.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Mumbai. Located in Shivaji Park and convenience of valet parking. The menu is elaborate and the sous chef - a Thai expat - serves up authentic Thai dishes. The staff are courteous and always happy to make suggestions. They also have a bar with an excellent selection of beverages, wines and cocktails.

The taste is the same... Consistent and dependable. They actually have an elderly Thai lady as their head chef. The manager Dileep is very warm and takes care of patrons dining needs very well.

Ambience is excellent, choice of brands in bar is superb, instrumental music was complementing the candle light theme, however the portion size of food serving in proportion to the price is very less.I had ordered a portion of crab meat soup, I found small tiny crab shell pieces, when reported to the manager instead of replacing it he replied in hindi that thoda shell pieces crab meat aur prawn soup mein to ata hi hai.1 litre oc mineral water of brand Misu was offered which cost Rs. 140 + GSTOverall Mumbai Eatouts rating is 5/10

The one and only authentic Thai cuisine place in Mumbai. The ambience is fine here. They have good collection of wine and alcoholic beverages. But what needs to be highlighted here is the food. The food is simply out of the world. The freshness of fresh herbs and ingredients used elegantly to create various Thai delicacies. Its simply out standing I am a big fan of Thai food and I can certainly say that tamnak Thai is the best Thai restaurant in Mumbai. Yes its a bit costly 4000 for 2 person ( 2drinks plus 3-4 alacarte items) but all best things in life comes with a price tag.

Excellent fine dining place with very authentic Asian food. It has a classy ambiance and the food is very well prepared to perfection. The staff is very courteous and very helpful. It has a great choice of alcohol. Though the wine selection can improve a lot. It draws good crowd on the weekends. Weekdays are a bit relaxed. One should go there to have asian food which is exquisite and not for the regular Indian Asian food, even though the Indian Asian food is great too.

Ac was too low...we were asked to fast down but waiter said its on...I think they all are Managing Director of that restaurant...dont know what kind of attitude they have... unprofessional....I dont want to speak much about food because its Thai food & I do not have much knowledge about itService quality is so poor , Ac need to be changes and Staff need training (How to treat customer in fine dine restaurant )...I am giving 1 star but they not deserve that also

I can actually give a zero star to this restaurant for the pathetic and unkind managers they have recruited.We booked a table over phone for 6adults and 3 children we were told to come over as the table was available on reaching there ,the manager was happy to turn us down as we had three kids with us it’s okay to say no butwhat annoyed me the most was that we were asked to wait outside and nobody came to inform us if table was ready until two people from our side went inside to check the situation and they were told that it was impossible for them to accommodate us !!!!!!I know this restaurant is standing there for almost 15/16 years now and we have always seen it empty now we know the reason.I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this place especially on weekends and definitely not with more than 1 kid.

This is one of the best places in Mumbai to have authentic Thai food curated a by lady Thai chef, we heard she has been working since 17 years for this Thai restaurant. The place is extremely classic, neat and clean, fresh flowers on display everywhere, giving the aura of Thailand in the heart of Mumbai. Real fine dining look , situated in a great location. We started from pot of tom yum soup and went on to the papaya and pineapple salad. Chicken satay had a brilliant peanut sauce that was lip smacking and for main course we had some brilliant sea food, we had no room for dessert but we still tried some Thai desert, on the managers recommendation, fantastic! it was a beautiful experience and totally worth the cost. Thank you Tamnak, will be visiting this place again! Great place for families as well as important business meetings.

Pathetic food, bad attitude of owner and waiter...Tom Kha was literally hot lemon juice..And their coconut milk has probably gone sore..The same with Thai green curry..That bad smell was obvious and the sticky rice had no stickiness...When complained to the owner, answer was - we have the same cook for last 20 years ..Every thing is alright ...We left the food as it is and they served the bill without any regret..Paid more than INR 3000 for this ugly experience where the owner just didnt say in words - I dont want my customers back.I was their regular customer but never had this kind of experience...Their quality of food has really gone down.
