Itβs amazing experience π³. So much green βοΈπ& serene ππ±. Beautiful city view from hills , mesmerising , lush green , many small & big waterfalls π. It is completely natural place protected by forest π³ department. Itβs not allowed π« for the common public to go there specially in monsoon . Casualties do happen here . We generally go there with regular visitors of this place who are acquainted with each & every part of forest π³ . One can go there with all precautions & with someone to guide . Else not recommended .But itβs worth going & to see untouched beauty of nature .Be ready to grab a crab π¦ where you sit to relax or a spider π· or may be lizard π¦ when you walk deep inside a jungle π³π. Enjoy whining & buzzing of bees π flies πͺ° & mosquitoes π¦πππForgot to mention beautiful flowers πΈπΊπ»π·πΉall around .
Although, I wasnt able to reach the waterfall because of it having been closed off recently for visitors by the forest department (or so I heard from the locals), nevertheless, is a great trekking spot, if you take a detour into the forest instead. Small streams and local establishments can be found inside after some exploring.
The place is been restricted by government, but still you can find locals and villagers at water fall. The problem is the police can come any time you might found yourself in problem. So, if you kind of adventurous you can go there.I would suggest dont go untill the restriction has been redeemed.
Access to waterfall is stopped. You can take an amazing short drive. Per person charges for entry is approximately Rs.70
Very nice place remote location, adventure Vibes... Be careful while tracking..
This waterfall is closed. And there is entrance fees for travellers and vehicle parking. Wastage of moneyπ . For one car and one couple the entrance fees are 387βΉ. Too costly.
It is very enjoyable please
Good place for group picnic

There is no water fall... Waste of time

Stn. West to Yeoor Waterfall

It was like once in a lifetime trip

Good
Superb
Itβs inside the Sanjay Gandhi National Park; if you get access to trails and go inside itβs beautiful. Complete disappointment in terms of facility for public. government done nothing here. Took 350 rupees from us as entry fee for car and per person. Itβs not worth at all giving money. Complete encroachment by local people. There is no access to trails; mountain. Lot of commercial resorts; who does not allow local public inside where they have created direct access to mountains.Borivali side of this National Park is far more better. It has all kind of public facility and access to beautiful nature. My recommendation is not to visit Thane side of National Park.
Beautiful place to visit
Beautyful
Easily approachable and beautiful natural experience. Garbage (plastic water bottles, beer bottles, chips wrappers etc) thrown by revellers and absence of basic sanitation facilities make me give a 4* instead of 5*.
Natures beauty at its best .... Monsoons
Nice place

YeoorΒ is a hilly area inΒ ThaneΒ city ofΒ Maharashtrastate inΒ India. Situated in theΒ Sanjay Gandhi National Park, it is known for its panthers and wildlife and is popularly known as Mumbais National ParkThe area also has road access with the general transportation being bus,Β auto rickshawsΒ and private vehicles. The local village is quite under-developed with no electricity in the last 2 villages. Also the area has Municipal School with classes up to 9th grade. There are proper sanitation facilities in the village. There are hospitals in the village area but not modern. For treatment, the people have to come down to the Vartak-Nagar area (downhill) which is a proper town and a host to many reputed residential complexes.
My first tip to everyone who is planning a trip here, please dont waste your precious time, and money, its totally not worth it. For starters, it is expensive to enter, especially if you are going in with a vehicle(which ofcourse you may need, else its a long walk to nowhere), so its βΉ190 for vehicle entry(forest entry fees apparently) and βΉ60 odd (per person). So as a family of 4 + vehicle we ended up paying βΉ430 for entry itself. Then driving uphill looking for a waterfall or some sort of lake (which we seen in reviews) dont know if they even exist. We dint find anything. On asking locals also we dint get any directions or suggestions, all we got in response was there is nothing here to see, its just jungle and nothing else.So we drove, looking for a place to sit or chill but could not find that either.Disappointed we left off feeling sad that we wasted precious time and money, instead of that we could have gone for a better drive somewhere else.So please dont waste your time (more than anything else, and also your money) which you can put to use somewhere else.

Access to the area is tightly controlled by the Forest Department, and no vehicles are permitted to enter after 20:00 hours. The entire village area has access toΒ MTNL,Β DolphinΒ and Vodafone network. The clean atmosphere is the main attraction of these hills, and has converted it into a perfect tourist spot for the people of Thane.
