I went on a weekday morning at 7am with my camera, it was beautiful! It’s refreshing to see no buildings around when you’re walking through the forest! I’d suggest go without your earphones and listen to the bird sounds! I was able to see many black kites swoop in really low, Orioles, Sunbirds, Drongos, Asian Koels, Mynas and an unbelievable variety of butterflies.

Excellent place to enjoy nature, you can even go for cycling and morning walks or jogging, you can even reach powai easily through following the aarey forest road. the road is a little packed in evenings during peak hourss.

Perfect place for photography and hang out with friend if you love nature and Greenery around fresh air calm place good for individual studies but not prefered to visit in the dark after 7 as it is a forest area and many carnivorous animals comes out after dark

Aarey forest right in the middle of mumbai is lung of mumbaikar. It has a large variety of flora and fauna. It houses aarey colony, aarey milk diary, chhota kashmir, film city.Perfect for one day outing.Try not to wander during night as i myself have seen leopard when i visited this place.There are many reason that you will fall in love with this place from morning walk to short bike ride.Only place in mumbai where you will get all the peace and calmness.But travelling here without proper safety like mosquito repellent cream and a stick can be very risky as there are a large variety of wild animals here.Chota kashmir is the perfect picnit spot for weekends.Theres a small lake beside chhota kashmir where you can enjoy boat ride midst the jungle.If you love peace and calmness then this place is perfect for you.Definitely visit but dont visit during monsoon as the roads become very bad.Also, during heavy rainfall there are chances of trees falling so try not to visit during monsoon.You can enjoy milk products from aaray dairy as they serve fresh.You can get experience of offroad during monsoon(Ladakh ke Offroading ka Maza mumbai mei).

This is the place which is normally 4 - 5℃ lesser temperature compared to the temperature observed in all over mumbai. Nice place to visit with children to play cricket & other outdoor games at diffrent grounds available, many people coming everyday for morning & evening walk daily here, need to think of personal safety as this is an open jungle.Follow the safety measures to visit the jungle, e.g. mosquito cream & having a stik for personal safety, proper shoes for walking & running & full sleeves clothes to avoid any unwanted circumstances.

Best place for walk nd jogging. You can also get good quality of buffalo milk here. But this place is closed for jogging nd walk as per the lockdown terms. And If you are visiting this place dont throw plastic bottles nd chips packets around. Avoid visiting this place at night alone without a car/bike. There is also bus service in this place BEST only selected bus goes from this place and frequency is low.

If youre Bored and Want to leave the city traffic then just come to this place. This place is so peaceful as it is full of trees and road in between so you can take your car too. You can come here to early morning walk or evening walks. This Place Is So Pleasant and the atmosphere is just awesome come here and enjoy the fresh air.

I have spent a lot of time here, specifically in number 16 Konkan Vikas. There is nature but because of road traffic, there is a lot of noise too. Formerly this forest used to be home to natives called Adiwasi, but now you will see it encroached by outsiders, especially people from north states like UP, Bihar etc and southern states build slums. Now its a mixed community.It is also a favorite place for drunkards. They have made a mess of this place.
