A long strolling area. Dotted by great hotels. Good walking area and beach. At a stretch, some repair and construction on.No disturbance if one can ward off beggars. There are no hawkers. No fee. You are your own boss.Nowadays, ( Jan, 2021), no photos are allowed without a mask, a healthy fine is heaped. Otherwise, one can click as many as possible.The Nariman Point promenade is soooo peaceful, even when crowded, and is one of the best places to relax in Mumbai. The sea breeze has a super effect to calm the mind and since the promenade is large, traffic is not a botheration while walking here. I highly recommend the 3.5 kms walk from Nariman Point to Chowpatty beach along the sea front - it is so much fun.

Best place to sit and relax at evening time. Make sure to keep ur mask on ur face full time, else be ready to pay the fine. Bmc staffs fines the peoples without mask with photo or video evidence. So better follow govt guidelines.

It is not simply a spot on the Marine drive, but almost like a dead end or one end of Queens necklace. Its a bit less crowded than the rest of Marine drive maybe because its the abutting end. There is pay and park right across the road and almost no traffic, making it really peaceful and calm. One could see The Oberon and Trident from there and the locality looks very exquisite. The sea looks beautiful from there.Really enjoyed visiting.

Easy to access from Church gate, Gateway of India and CST railway station for the tourist. Shortage of sun and rain shed too.

It is also known as Marine Drive or Queens Necklace.It is One of the favourite and most popular tourist attraction in Mumbai. It is good and peaceful place to hangout with your friends and family. Good place to have walk. And yes it is also good for jogging early morning, many people perform yoga, running, brisk walking in the morning. It feels so good to watch the mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets here. People come here along with their pets too for a walk. There is a parking facility at the start of it opposite Oberoi Hotel. They charge probably 50 rupees for 2 hours. It is One of my favourite place for walking and hangout with friends and family.

The best time to visit here is a few minutes before sunset. There is a special parking for disabled. they have this little ramp next to the parking lot and then another slope which is little bit rough but with help you can go on the pathway and enjoy the most amazing feeling of being close to the sea, the sun going down, the fresh air and the Most scenic view. I have been there so many times and since I am on an automatic wheelchair I manage my way through without help. One can also ride along Marine Lines on the wheelchair and enjoy being part of the crowd. You can buy a lot of local snacky items from the vendors roaming out there. There are a lot of rocks and one can climb on to them to take some good pictures.

There are no entry fees and no adventurous activities done here. its a place where you go with your love ones spend some quality time or you can simply it down, listen to your favourite music and let me tell you there is nothing better than that. Just one thing BMC putting so much effort to keep it clean, lets support them just by not throwing your trash here and there. So keep it clean.

Stand for a while and enjoy the surroundings. You have NCPA, Marine Drive and Black Bay by your side. Its not good idea to step down to concrete slabs to take selfies. You might hurt yourself. And if you are having food stuffs, though the wrap in bin. If you litter, may get fined!

Superb view better than marine drive

As a non mumbaikar dont know the details of this place. But from what I saw and heard about the place when visiting the place while I was in Mumbai. Its a nice place for people especially couples to hang around. Is basically a road running along sea shore of Arabian sea. Which is called marine drive. And I think its one end is Malabar hill and other end is nariman point. And the area located in colaba area of mumbai. Its a beautiful area with tall corporate office buildings on one side and a walled sea shore of Arabian sea protected by pile of concrete stones from the waves. This area is so famous that it has been in many Bollywood movies. We were at the tip of nariman point from where you can see the stoned wall of marine drive curved in a shape of a necklace towards Malabar hill area. And it must be looking like what they call queens necklace at the night time when the road is illuminated by street lights. We were there at day time still we liked it.👌🙂

Especially if you’re near Church gate or CST then don’t look further for a relaxing and soothing vibe, This is where you need to be.Try to go early in the morning between (5:30am-6:30am) or in the late afternoon-early evening’s between (4:30pm - 6:45pm) for some spectacular views of sunrise 🌅 and sunset 🌇 golden moments.Pls Note: Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic 😷 you can’t exactly go towards the end of the tip, but still appreciate the fact that they allow you to go towards the starting point of the tip.Secondly if you are happening to be visiting during the pandemic 😷 then please, it is a humble request while you’re there pleasemake sure that you don’t ever try to remove or even slightly move the mask 😷 from your face (mouth & nose) cause the movement you move it down a bit, am very sorry to say but you will be fined by BMC (Rs.200/- PER PERSON) there is no excuse, your small white lies or quick escapes will never work here don’t even try, you are not allowed 🚫 to move your mask even for having a quick bite or even pose for that quick candid or selfie 🤳 moments cause just remember this all digital and artificial eyes 👀 are on you (watching 24/7). So yeah they pop out like a genie 🧞‍♂️ out of no where with solid evidence of your movements either with a photo or video of your exclusive moments.

I love this place, but the we Indian torist are of the worst kind. There was a stagnant smell of urine, rotten food amd some unidentifiable stuff of which I am still not ready to know about. It can be much much beautiful if its given some tender loving and care by all of us and the government. Just in case, you arent bothered by immobile crowds and urine stench, do visit this it and enjoy the soothing Bambai ka special-ich sunset!!

Mask rules being enforced with a 200 Rs fine is a good sign. It was late afternoon and bit hot but in the strong sunshine we felt safe walking as the coronavirus had a slim chance to survive here.

Paid parking available.. ₹70/- per hour..Please dont remove ur mask because there are couple of people from BMC who gives u receipt of ₹200/- per person even if mask is removed for clicking a photo.. Ive paid ₹400/- for both my mom & dad...
