What a fantastic Muay Thai gym! As a first timer to Muay Thai I was looked after and coached superbly. The coaches were all experts and very friendly and within a week I felt I had learned loads. Krabi is a stunning Island with lots to do in the downtime. Thanks to Howard and the team, until next time! Tom

I trained here 10 days straight, twice a day, during the pandemic in November 2020. I had a good time, and I learned a lot in terms of Muay Thai here. I especially liked the philosophy here which I believe represents the reality of what learning is like: There are no shortcuts, just diligence, patience and consistency. Other than that, there was a good atmosphere and the owner Howard made every session something to look forward to with his good humor and his cheerful and positive disposition.

Stayed 1 week and Ive particularly appreciated the experience: The coach knows very well about Muay Thai and has a very good training skill: giving good tips, telling what needs to be corrected and managing well the session upon your abilities. The place is nice and probably one of the best value for money in Thailand

I have been to a quite a few Muay Training camps in Thailand and I can quite honestly say this one was the best. Great, authentic training atmosphere in a superb setting. The owner and trainers are highly experienced and really motivate you to pickup the vast amount of techniques involved. I would highly recommend a visit....you will not be disappointed. PS the optional morning run nearly killed me to start with...but seeing the sunrise in such a beautiful place made me go back for more!

First time to Thailand. So pleased I pick this Muay Thai gym everybody was so friendly and helpful. My training was excellent and it was like starting from scratch with the bad habits from my Kickboxing and learned so much in a short period of only 3 weeks. The food was amazing and rooms are basic, but comfortable, A.C. and clean. Krabi was beautiful and really was nice beaches to see. Planning to go back in future and train there again.

I had the privilege to train at Honour Muay Thai these past few months. It was my first time travelling/training in Thailand, and God, was I lucky to find this place. The trainers are incredible, the people are great, the training is sometimes tough but always fun. Anyone training there could learn a lot, no matter his/her previous amount of experience. It definitely was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to go back.

We were 2 x females travelling Asia and decided to join Honour Gym in Krabi for 3 weeks to get a true experience of Thailand. We stayed and ate at the gym. As we were total beginners in Muay Thai, we were apprehensive. This all changed once we arrived. We were made so welcome by everyone including other students staying there. The whole experience was amazing and the food was very nice too. The accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. We stayed in the shared accommodation as we were on a bit of a budget. There is also private rooms for anybody who doesnt want to share, but we were fine in the shared. We both wish we could of stayed longer, but already had tickets booked.... Great experience and really awesome people. We learned loads - and certainly improved our fitness levels!! We will be back again for sure!

After a lot of research (I’m a picky kind of a person) I found Honour Muay Thai.Bull’s eye!Absolutely true lovers of Muay Thai with absolutely the best trainers (like Chainoi 200+ fights world wide...) having a lot of patience, eye for detail and great knowledge. The groups are small and surrounded by a lot of trainers, so a lot of personal attention.Besides that, the owner (Howard) did a fantastic job creating a really nice atmosphere at the gym.And last but definitely not least... the food is great!!!Ps: The province of Krabi is one of the last areas not ruined by tourism! So win-win!

This was the best experience I have had in a very long time. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and incredibly friendly and helpful to beginners. The trainers are wonderful, most of them former champions in some ways. The food is outstanding and I’ve heard at better than any other Muay Thai Gym. The owner Howard who is English and his Thai partner Goy are very special people who genuinely care about you and will go out of their way to help you. The gym is in a fantastic location in lovely nature but only a few mins to the beach on a bike. If you are thinking of training Muay Thai in Thailand I couldn’t recommend this place more. 10/10

I have spent four weeks at Honour Muay Thai training. I have been to other Muay Thai camps in Thailand and Honour truly stands out as in a class of their own. It starts with the Owner Howard, a Brit and himself a former fighter. Howard is abundantly present, ready and able to answer all questions. He is pleasant, funny, and importantly extremely helpful, he is present during the training sessions, offering guidance and when needed is able to translate if a message isn’t getting through due to language barriers. The lead trainer, Mr. Lek, is an extremely accomplished fighter, and a wonderfully adept trainer, offering great guidance for both beginners and more advanced students alike. Along with Won and Satja, who round out the Ajarn team, they are all happy, helpful, funny, and most importantly – patient! Having trained elsewhere, I can tell you not everywhere is good with beginners. I’ve witnessed where the group trainings at other gyms are nothing other than cattle calls, with little to no instruction. Honour truly is different, the beginners get even more attention, and they are truly trying to teach you technique.I didn’t stay onsite, I only trained, but the facilities are great, and all the live in students seemed to be getting along and having tons of fun as well. The other consideration worth pointing out, because I’ve seen the other side, is that Honour is very clean. The mats are mopped, the floors are cleaned regularly. This also has not always been the experience I’ve witnessed elsewhere. The location is a little off the beaten path in a lovely vegetated residential area 5 minutes by moto from Ao Nang beach. Everything easily accessible. There isn’t a scintilla of arrogance, or elitism at this place……you are made to feel welcome and worthy instantly. They hold the traditions of Muay Thai dear as well, so you quickly learn the expectation is to respect the traditions of the Art of Eight Limbs, which is really nice to experience. There is a lot of grunting and sweating when you’re there, but you also importantly hear a ton of encouragement, along with lots of laughter.Don’t hesitate, book it!

Just finished 1 month all inclusive package at honour and it’s been amazing. The coaches are all brilliant with a wealth of knowledge and it’s easy to see yourself improving every session. There are always multiple coaches at every session so you get heaps of 1 on 1 coaching from coaches who’ve coached champion fighters and are champions themselves with hundreds of fights between them.Living at the gym is a unique experience. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and simple with good areas to relax between sessions. The food is great for fueling your recovery after training and it’s in the perfect location, just outside ao nang town so that it’s quiet with great places nearby for snacks and smoothies and also close to the beach and massage places to recover after sessions. This is a very unique and special place. Howard and his partner Goy, along with the great Thai coaches give the gym a very relaxed atmosphere, it’s like a big family. I’ve made so many friends and learnt so much and hope to return soon!

Great Thai Boxing gym in Krabi. I was first looking to go to Phuket and found this gym by a friends recommendation. This was the my best move yet in short time of Thai Boxing experience of 3 yrs. Absolutely amazing, such a great teacher, learnt so much from him and the other trainers there at Honour Gym. Only stayed 5 weeks at camp. Stayed for the 3 week all-inclusive program (training, private A/C room, food) and everything was perfect. I started with zero muay thai experience and just wanted to get into shape. Howard and his incredible team patiently showed me the basics - I quickly felt fitter and stronger training 2 times a day and eating the healthy, delicious food prepared by Goy, Howards hilarious Thai wife.Training alongside professional fighters and legendary Thai trainers was such an awesome experience. Their level of commitment, physicality and expertise inspired and exhausted me. I really liked how the program allowed me to determine how much I wanted to push myself and never felt pressured to do anything that made me uncomfortable. For example, I didnt want to eff up my face, so I skipped sparring and did extra body conditioning and stretching instead with no issues.I liked my private air-conditioned room and had plenty of space. The bed had an uncomfortable hard mattress, but it was remedied by buying a memory foam topper and being graciously loaned a giant teddy bear that I named Remi. I surprisingly wasnt bothered by the cold water (private) showers and was happy to have separate mens and womens toilets because lets face it, mens bathrooms can be gross. The entire facility was kept very clean and the floors were washed regularly.Big thanks to Howie and the entire HMT gang! Hope to see you all for my next visa run.

What really made this experience great is the people (corny as it sounds). Howard, the Brit owner, is an incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuine guy. His feisty girlfriend makes authentic thai meals twice daily for those staying at the gym. The resident fighter, an annoyingly skilled and dedicated Greek guy, was happy to share his knowledge throughout my stay. And the trainers, while playful and easygoing, really care about Muay Thai and want to help you improve. I worked with Chai Noi (sp) most of the week and he was amazing. He, like all the trainers, have a deep respect for the sport and know the training process end to end. He even took the time to learn everyone’s name and took video of my form to help me improve. On my last day he, along with the other trainers, even woke up at 5AM to see me off. I really can’t speak highly enough of these guys.A couple things to note. The facilities are nothing fancy, communal dorms and showers, which work fine and serve the purpose. While it’s easy enough to get to area beaches and nightlife downtown by scooter, the gym is a bit “off the beaten bath”. I think this is by design to focus on training and not rowdy nights out. Which leads to my next point, Howard and the team provide a great atmosphere to learn Muay Thai. While we went out a couple times together for a few beers, drinking at the gym is frowned upon, and if you’re looking to party it’s best to find accommodation outside the gym and come for afternoon sessions. The morning sessions start early with an optional run at 6:30AM, so most people are in bed by 10PM.If you’re new to Muay Thai or have years of experience, definitely give Honour a try. Like me I’m sure you’ll have an amazing experience.

World class training from expert muay thai trainers, and regardless if you are a professional fighter or a beginner you will receive the same amount of attention and guidance. I personally have learnt more in 1 month then I would learn in 1 year at a gym back home. If you listen to the trainers and owner you will be amazed at your results whether its to prepare for a fight or lose weight and get fit. The owner howard has a heart of gold and has a great sense of humour which makes everyone at the camp feel welcome and like a family. His wife goy is an amazing cook also.
