We need to empower our people, this Shiv Smarak will generate jobs, attract tourism & put Mumbai on top of tourists lists.I really hope BJP takes over & constructs this as soon as possible.

This is statue of the Greatest Maratha Warrior, He was one of the first to ban slavery in Indian Kingdom, He is the father of Indian Navy. Dont ever I repeat dont ever say anything without any knowledge. This staue is just a small return gift to him for making our life better. Read about him and I bet he will be your role model forever.

There is no point in building this structure. Mumbais poor are prominent throughout the city, and we should not waste our money on something like this. The government should spend this money on things that the people need, like education, food and proper infrastructure for all. While Shivaji was a great leader, there are many other ways of acknowledging him. This structure should not be built, now or ever.
