The iconic theatre cannot be missed. Stood the test of times though now more of a multiplex than a single screening. The outside building still retains the look of yesteryears when so many personalities used to walk in through the doors.

Good cinema theatre to watch movies, services are good and staff are very polite they keep a good management of cleaning the theatre and the entire building👍🏻

Metro Inox, very good theater ....must go once in life

The place actually looks grand especially the lobby inside. The hall is pretty large, the seating is comfortable. The overall experience of the cinema hall is pretty good here. Prices often are a bit high compared to other places.

Comfortable and brings back memories of the days gone by. Well decorated interiors and interesting collages of the older eras. A great old projector on display.BUT they need to control the air conditioning temperatures....too too cold for twenty odd viewers. Should be easy to control based on the tickets sold for the respective show.

Very nice cinema hall, the entrance does not look that grand but the interior is made so brand and golden. Very nice .the Cinemax is spacious and good and comfortable seating!!!The coziness of this place will make you fall asleep sometimes...!!!Best Cinemax in town!!

It was a very good multiplex but due to lockdown they have closed the doors waiting for it to reopen .

Now Metro INOX, which was taken on long lease by INOX was renovated in record time, so much so that I stopped visiting metro area thinking, it at least a year away from screening, to my surprise it was up & running in 3 months. New getup is both modern & contemporary. I loved it & special eating areas are good though expensive like all other cinemas. A must visit, I have attached photos for reference.Exclusive Insignia floor with two screens is class apart & pampers you to brim. Food joint is classy & yet reasonable.

Good lord! The theater is beautiful. And classy. Good seats, great staff. The popcorn and other edibles are however more expensive than the tickets, which is ridiculous! But the place is such an icon of Marine lines that I dont mind the steep prices

I love movie experience in the metro Cinema. Seats are very comfortable. There is some part of the theater is exclusive for kids section.

Wasnt expecting it to be good. It turned out to be amazing!It was pretty entertaining. We reached there with kids an hour before and they had everything from entertaining graphics set where we could see dinosaurs and different animals playing on live screen.Then we have food court as usual. Prices were has usual same.

Nice place. Do visit the insignia which is the highlight of this place. The ambience in the picture is of insignia which huge lobby and sitting area. Insignia here will make you feel like a royal. Rest of the hall is average and in Par with rest of the movie threatres. If you wanna enjoy the feeling of royalty do visit there insignia. Best I have visited so far in Mumbai.

A great theatre to go with family or friends. Surroundings are good enough and sound quality is amazing. Prizes in this theatre is quite high from others but looking at the interior one can easily pay the amount 😅

Its been sold a lot of times in the past couple of years.From Metro to metro Adlabs then Big Cinema then carnival Cinemas in now INOX Metro.As the name INOX brings a lot of value. The theatre has become really good with the screen and seats.There are few issues regarding the cafeteria and the people they hire.The main thing what matters in cinema is the screen quality in the picture quality which they use. And also if they are improving it regular basis with the latest and the best one possible.

Best multiplex in terms of service.Food is satisfactory. 3D quality is better than most other multiplexes in south mumbai.

I absolutely loved laid back mornings in mumbai as there is not much you can do on a rainy day! I love the insignia where I can sleep and watch a movie. They have made the theatre 🎭 absolutely amazing. The chandeliers, the grand couches call out to you. I was impressed by the arena of food that they had. From dimsums to wok bowls to fox nuts , they had it all. The staff makes you feel in a 5star hotel. We loved the popcorn. We sipped onto our coffee and cookies and watched the movie .

Metro Inox,Metro as it was fondly known in my school days.An establishment par excellent, I remember when once upon a time it was a humongous architectural theatre magnificent in all ways.I remember watching Mackennas Gold in this theatre. I still remember the sound of the bullet when it echoed in 70 mm glory.Keeping up with the times. Metro is now known Metro Inox with six comfortable screens and a comfy canteen to unwind.A visit to Metro is always a laudable experience.

This is one of the best Theatres I ever visited after IMAX. It is located nearby to the marine lines station in Mumbai. Looks from inside are posh and it has INSIGNIA inside the theatre. Around 8 screens are there with good facility of sound and AC. The seats are very comfortable and you migh feel like sleeping over there.Also there is CCD for snacks and beverages.

Good movie watching experience, I had booked tickets online but forgot my phone at home yet I convinced easily to the man in the ticket counter and he checked us in. The place is lush and the crowd is very decent.Had a lovely time watching a movie here.Ups : Location, Air Condition, Staff, Ambiance.Downs : Chairs in the theatre are a bit too close, Parking is not visible from outside, Price of water is high.

Simply beautiful. We went to the Dolby theater and the seating, sound and viewing was excellent. Even though we were in the last row on the first floor (I think there is balcony seating as well) it was great. The sound is amazing (Dolby!) and the entire theater is just excellent. A little disorienting when you first go in as there are lots of escalators up and down but no problem finding where we needed to go.

Its a nice, clean and good multiplex in south Bombay. I always visit this place on my birthdays, anniversary etc. Cost of tickets is also reasonable.

Ben Kingsley presented Schindlers List in this iconic single screen theatre during a film festival in the 90s. Quite a sea change since then, watching The Tashkent Files here and the multi screen has changed the look but retained the beauty;) Comfortable seats but could do with some rearrangement of the last row in Screen 1. Someone lost a wallet but found it the Lost and Found section. Sweet Bite counter has the favourite sucrose free Italian dark chocolate:) Well maintained clean washroom. Parking available at a fee. Accessible entrance.

This movie hall built in the british era is one of the finest movie theaters in all of mumbai..the interiors are great,the hall maintenance is great..food is over priced however that is something you could expect from any theater..It also has a dedicated kids screening section with child friendly environment and colourful seatings.The washrooms are well maintained and the 1930s antique projector on display just adds the cinematic charisma to the whole retro cum contemporary interior design

Great Theater with excellent interiors. Great variety of food items available at the food stall, including Nachos, pizzas, burgers, pastries etc..., though food prices are bit on the expensive side. But all food items are of premium quality. Ticket prices are quite reasonable compared with rest of Mumbais premium theatres.

Beautiful and clean cinema at metro

Has an old world charm to it, with the antique chandeliers and wooden finishings. Something that you dont see anymore in the age of swanky multiplexes. Yet, the cinematic experience is as good as that of the new ones. Though slightly disappointed with the dim screen.

Cinema ambience and quality is very good. Great service. Reasonable ticket prices. Movie hall is superb you will enjoy the ambience and good sound quality. The theaters look like they were designed to be a wedding party hall. The seats are not comfortable but cant complain much.

Watching movie at iconic metro was an experience worth visiting. All the film posters make you go nostalgic. The theater inside wasnt very hygenic.

Too bad they dont show any English language movies anymore. Not at least while we were in Mumbai

First movie after pandemic was at Metro INOX. Watched TENET, didnt understand the plot at all, just like the new rule of not eating your popcorn in the movie hall. Doesnt make sense!But to facilitate food sell, interval duration was longer than the movie run, ruddy heck!!P.S. mosquitoes when fly in fron of the projector looks like fireflies.. amazing experience!!!

One of the best movie theatres in Mumbai for sure,the way its built,the architecture,the mirrorish look,photo albums of all the legendary actors hung on the wall makes you feel like you have come to a place where movie is screened, washrooms too are hygienic and well maintained,it has 5/6 screens and this theatre is a must place to visit for watching any movie,ought to be the best one in Marine lines if not all over Mumbai

A nice place to watch movies.

Love to watch movies in this place. It is always a good experience with family and friends. But people of any category are worthless, they leave the restrooms stinky without flushing. The staff keep the place clean instead of all this. The staff is also very helpful.
