Good place near Juhu beach, however very poorly maintained. Can be one of the best institutes of forces but needs effort from management side. Lot of stray dogs in the premises is another issue

A lovely lush green place to spend your weekend in the midst of lovely people from the services and a great bar to watch your favorite game of sports and enjoy the drink.The outside open lawns is an amazing place to sit and play tambola and have food and drinks with your near and dear ones.The food is yum. The dishes that are served are a great delicacy for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. The small eats and the sumptuous meals come in good quantity.The place has excellent service. The staff very cordial smiling always and ready to serve you.All in All the place is a must visit for first timers and place to go again and again for regulars.

Sun 12th May Ventured out for a game of Housie or Bingo whatever you wish to call it and got a surprise of my life. The home minster and secretary (my beautiful wife & daughter) had planned an advance birthday surprise since her exams began on the 14th May which was my Birthday. Family & friends around 27 of us converged on the AOI lawns for a gastro treat and drinks Army Patiala style. Great ambience although the weather could have been a tad better. Great experience & the surprise party made it even better.Cheers & kudos to the AOI for making it a memorable & enjoyable evening.

Unique place thats right at one of the best locations in the City! Its not easy to get this place but if you do manage to be able be here your in for a royal treat!!The lawns are really well spread out and hence awesome.. theres a lot of space so it house both one huge event as well as multiple small places! Loved every bit of the experience here!!

I think first of all somebody has to be a member to get into the army officers club so I had gone for a Kitty and it was a nice place to be at because the food is amazing and yes it is somewhat a wheelchair friendly place at least you can get a good car parking and then if you come in with your wheelchair it is easy but only at the end to get into the restaurant which is in the garden area you have to climb 3 small steps and yes again the staff can help you do tha, its not a difficult thing to do. the food was amazing we ordered some prawn curry, some laccha paratha.... we ordered some fish for starters,the pineapple raita is really good whenever I have been there my friends like to order that and eat it as a desert. they have some tasty lasooni Palak also and definitely it is very reasonable to eat there but then again you have to be a member or you have to go be invited by a member. they also have a card room there again only for members.

Such a great venue for a wedding. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The catering too is great with a variety of veg dishes and very attentive staff. The starters were especially delicious.

A good place to meet up with friends from armed forces!Lots of open spaces, right next to Juhu beach. Werkends have Tambolas & mudical nights.Snacks are yummy and at prices that arr down to earth.One catch....one needs to be a member/ members guest!

Bad experience. Super late service. Had to remind them 4 times for my sweet lime soda. Had to personally call the manager to our table to take our order because the waiters were too busy. 4 different starters were less for 6 of us. Food was also average.

Superb location! Its like an Oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle..a lovely patch of green..Its only for members. Does not have too many amenities but the usual restaurant and lawns for chilling in the evening. A must go to anytime of the week

Good open lawn and shelter roof hall available away from city chaos. Holding a corner of seashore will give you fresh oxygen for your occasion and a cool huge parking place for your cars... So safe and reserved privacy.

Attended a friends wedding function at AOI. The place is located close to the beach. There is ample parking space. The facilities are very good. Its a shame that only ex army people have access to the AOI. It would have been great if civilians could go there.

Reserved for members of the defence forces and their families, the AOI is tastefully done up with leads of open spaces. The food is better than average. There is a dress code so please check with your hosts.

The Shalimar Gardens, which is where we attended a wedding reception, was admirably suited to the needs of such a lavish reception. The food and drinks were excellent. The food was prepared by Mini Punjab who seem to have a tie up with the Army Officers Institute. Quality, quantity and service were excellent. They served a great variety of snacks and entrées before dinner. Desert too was delicious. A very enjoyable experience.However, the decorative lighting on the ground shining up, with the wiring alongside the lights on the ground caused to at least two guests to trip and fall headlong to the ground.In one case, my wife, the injury to one foot made walking painful for several days!Why not have the lights on poles to adequately light up the ground? No wires on the ground. That way no one will trip and fall.

The hall was less spacious and difficult for senior citizens as there are many stairs

Good for engagement wedding bdy party for peepz around 500/700 but i wont recommend... Biggest issue is travelling to the venue, if u dnt have ur car than getting an auto , ola , uber is a big tuff task, ur guest will definitely abuse u behind ur back 😉 ...

In the Heart of Juhu Area, huge place as much as you may want to use. Only afternoon functions need Cover from the High Sun Anger. Request Authorities to Allow Wedding Baraati to Come inside the Gate with the Band and dance their hearts out. After all Indian Army also Sings, Dances & Celebrates over Martyrs & Braveries....

A nice calm and quiet place in Juhu. Well stocked bar. Very good snacks and dinner. All this very reasonably priced. A treat, really !

I was here to attend a marriage party of my colleague.. Nice place in one of the prime places Juhu.. It was a beautiful view in the night, a full Moon was shining just above the stage where the couple were.. Quiet away from main road so no craky sounds.. And yes ofcourse its under military so well maintained

A decent wedding ground. A little in interiors, but they are quiet strict on their rules and regulations being it an Army Ground.
