If you like seafood you definitely have to make this a stop. They have crab, giant prawns and other types of seafood. I had the tandoori prawns, butter garlic prawns, and garlic chili squid. All were exceptional. They also have a full bar and quite a few vegetarian entrees. The service is great and I would definitely come back.

Went to this very famous place. Had heard so much about it. It was totally worth the visit. I honestly believed that the prices were too high for the quantity of the food and the ambience. The food was definitely yummy and the quality of seafood was great. We ordered butter garlic Crab, Koliwada Prawns, Tandoori Fish and Chettinad Prawn Curry with Neer dosa. The Curry was very spicy.I would definitely go back to eat the food. But i would prefer going to pratap lunch home where it would pinch my pocket a little less.

I kept hearing about this restaurant since ages, but this time fortunately fetched a chance to visit because of my friend Ranjeet Jog... and ohh boy ..!! We had a ball there for the entire time weve spent...started with some buds and the very sumptuous bombay dawk fry ...very aptly crisp from out and mouth-melting from inside...I am the person who is actually mad for bombil always seeks perfection in cooking and it was superbly flavourful cooked , then theyve suggested to taste their signature soup .. the mix seafood ... I must say it was awesome from start till the end of taste buds ..best was the subtleness of fresh seafood fixture hits you the more than any spicy seafood like we usually eat in any other seafood restaurant ... believe me this was non-spicy. Yet it is the finest and tongue lingering flavourful, i dont know how theyve managed to do that ...I think I really need to meet the chefs next time and learn ... And then comes the magnificent The Butter Garlic Crab .... yea I think the word heavenly will only be an antecedent 😊 .... the creamy flavoured texture smack your every taste bud in a way... that makes you to heal and forget all the apprehensions of the day. ..I really meant it !!... we added the butter garlic naan .. however I suggest one must have it without summing anything more .... The palatial, tenderly freshness of crab, butter and garlic combined to the crest of the perfection .. i only can say the best across all the best seafood restaurants i tried ...and then unfortunately we had to end it as there was a time restrictions coz of covid19 ... but nonetheless !! I have decided to come here again as early as possible so there will be no time constraints and we can taste more and more of their cuisines ..The rating here stops you till 5 stars ..If at all I can would have given 10 stars ...👍👍

One discovers Trishna behind quiet Kala Ghoda lane ....famous for its seafood delicacies south Indian restaurant. Not too trendy place, just like any other normal place, less seating places – the decor is old. Great service. Great ambience. Could be better considering the price . Food was good . Butter Garlic Crab was great, a little overboard with the garlic. They provide the necessary while having crab , example apron, tools to work your way through the shell etc.. You also have an option to go for crab without the shell. Location is good , not sure where you would park your car in the narrow streets .

A pretty tasty, cozy, seafood restaurant! The crab was tasty, and we liked asking for the option with the shell removed!! The prawns were OK as well, and so was the biryani. Seafood soup wasnt too thick and was OK as well. Chicken skewer was good too. Overall, the food was OK, and a little overpriced compared to the quality. Quality needs a little improvement, or the price reduced to university fare type resto. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Treat yourself to amazing seafood here. A little bit expensive but the quality justifies for it. Wasnt too crowded when we went. Staff had masks on them and are very helpful in assisting you to order.Had the crab meat soup that was perfectly spicy. Butter garlic prawns and bombil were just too good. For mains it was pomfret gassi and appams, neer dosa. The gassi was perfectly smooth and tasty. They showed an entire crab that was for 5500.You have to come here with as big a group as possible to taste as many things possible. Definitely recommend this place and Im going to visit again for sure.

Succulent butter garlic crab, the spicy crab soup was also very tasty as well as other dishes wed ordered.I do wish there was more space between tables, and also bigger table size - esp. when busy disassembling the crabs ... but thats not bad enough to lower the score, just a minor quibble. The alley in which Trishna is located is really narrow, consider parking a couple blocks away and walking over.

Excellent sea food restaurant albeit a little pricey. An average meal for 2, with a couple of pints, could set you back around Rs5000 - well worth a visit every now and then, more frequently if you are of the elite rich..... and not suffering from high cholesterol... !.. tucked away in an alley in Kala Ghoda, behind Rhythm House, with both, an a/c and non a/c seating section.Polite and knowledgeable staff, who are willing to customize your meal should you want it.Almost always full so advisable to book ahead

Come December and there’s always a wait at Trishna, as those making fleeting trips to the city patiently line up for their fill of butter garlic crab, Hyderabadi dal and, of course, fish koliwada. During the rest of the year, regulars who relish the top-quality seafood on offer here demand that their crab be brought out before its cooked, while they down the first of many beers. First-timers often wonder if the place is all hype. The first bite of neer dosa with fish in green masala puts all of their doubts to rest.

Trishna is a very high-end seafood restaurant in Fort, not too far from the Gateway of India. It’s not the kind of place I would have visited on my own as a tourist, but a local generously invited me to dinner here, and I’m so glad they did.We had a little of everything, including spicy deep fried squid (calamari), masala oysters (cooked), Bombay Duck (which is actually a fish), prawn curry, and the piece de resistance, the garlic butter crab. They serve mud crab, which is a fairly meaty freshwater (or at least brackish) local crab, and they have quite a few different sauces/spices to go with it. Most importantly, you get a bib and various tools to get at the delicious meat. The service was excellent, and they answered all of my newbie tourist questions patiently. The prices are quite high, so I would recommend it for a special occasion, or for someone who really loves seafood.

Trishna is hands down the King of seafood in Mumbai! Have visited all tge competition and in my opintion there is just no competition to what they are serving.Trishna located in the now trendy back lanes of Khala Ghoda is no frills, basic, clean interior, do not expect wow interiors, this place is about what is coming out of the kitchen. The selection is tremendous and everything I have ever had here is fresh and the best selection possible. I am a big fan mainly of the crabs. I have indulged on most of the preparations bit have finally settled on what I find to be the best. . .the Chettinad!!! I also recommend the fish tikka selections, they have amazing king tiger prawns that basically can be ordered 1 per person, they are monsters!!Service is attentive and can be a little pushy on upsells so know what you want and stick to it. Prices are on the higher side but I personally find it completly worth it as they are the only game at this level.Legend that lives up to the status. . .King of Seafood!!
