Nutcracker is one of my favourite go to places in Bombay. It is the cutest cafe with the best food! Went here recently and ate one of my favourites, the nutty spaghetti! This spaghetti has so much flavour with its overload of nuts and is absolutely delicious. They also added the bahn mi sandwich to their menu which I really enjoyed. It tasted like an authentic Vietnamese sandwich and the peanut sauce served with it was amazing! For dessert, we had one of their classics; the seven layer cookie which was as usual out of this world! Service is also great and it is very well priced. Can’t wait to go here again
One of those cosy places in a small street, but a not-to-miss one for sure. Its one of my favourite places to eat. Their pastas, desserts, shakes, coffee, and everything on the menu is lip smacking! My daughter loved their french fries. The staff is super courteous and helpful. Visit for tasty food
A place to choose in fort can be so tiresome!! But when in mood for something sweet, this place is to be.. for their signature 7 layer Cookie.. there arent many dishes on the eggless side but this one is a sure hit for me!. The mixed flavour of caramel, butterscotch and chocolate and the crumbly texture of the biscuits is just on point and a sure try!! ..Thank me later ;)
This is one of my favourite cafes in the city to go to. Absolutely wonderful food. I am a fan of their black bean burger and it one thing I never fail to order. Another mind-blowing dish is the 7-layered cookie. Although a tad expensive, the cookie is worth every penny. Cant resist myself from having one more. Tried the Mac and cheese too. Its creamy and rich. Satisfying food in terms of quantity and quality is definitely superb. Nice and courteous staff. A good atmosphere and ambience to hang out with friends
Small cosy place that is just the place for a casual breakfast or meal... Grabbed a lunch on a day when it was pouring outside and stepped out all warm and ready to brave the rain.... We ordered a cappuccino, black bean burger and a warm Lebanese sandwich.. food was excellent and we loved it. Packed a seven layer cookie to indulge in at home...
The Nutcracker is a well known place in Fort, Mumbai. It has a reputation for its attractive and beautiful Cafe setting decor which is homely and peaceful. It serves some amazing food which is rare in small eateries. What we had:1. Khushari - From the streets of Egypt, this Is a mix of Rice, lentils, chick peas and pasta topped with hot sauce. Served with Tapioca chips2. Burrito Bowl- it is garlic parsley brown rice , beans and corn mix with sour cream served with salsa and corn chips3. Baked Philadelphia Cheesecake - This baked cheese cake is a must try. It is served with blue berry on the side
Swung by around 5pm for a quick snack. The decor is cost and encourages private conversations. Its a small space with tables mainly accomodating 2-3 people with 2 tables for larger parties. We ordered the Apple Crumble and a plate of Salli Eggs. The crumble was not too sweet, spiced just right and came with a side of Butterscotch ice cream instead of the usual Vanilla. The Salli Eggs were delightful. The potato Salli was fried to perfection and mixed in with eggs to form a hash brown of sorts.
Lebanese sandwich was awesome...the bread is fresh and the sauces are really good...hummus or gaucomale both are truly authenticated.....also one more usp is it had actual Mexican rice, making the burrito bowl an awesome dish their. Overall a good place to visit....only feel it is little overprized...specifically when u see scream cheese bagel at an 3 digit value..anyways...I would say. I loved the place for its taste and will do visit again....secondly parking is a little tedious their...
Love Love Love this place. Whatever time you come breakfast lunch or dinner the food is amazing. From the breakfast pancakes to the wide variety of eggs, my personal favourite being the akuri. The yummy cream cheese and bagel which is baked inhouse. Their Grilled Cheese Sandwich with jalapeños is the best Ive had in Mumbai. The Nutty Spaghetti which is Aglio Olio with lots of almonds is yumm. And thats not it dont miss out on their desserts my personal favourite is the Seven Layer Cookie. I till date havent been able to decipher all the layers but i keep wanting to go back for this yumm dessert served with Vanilla Bean Icecream .The New York Style Cheesecake and the Goey Chocolate Cake are also very good!
The NC burger is dangerously delicious. I really wish I had the appetite to be able to finish that humongous mound of scrumptious layers of food with the crispiest onion rings I have ever had. The Kushari was very comforting and exotic at the same time. Very good value for money too. Rs 1200 for two.
So I had some time before my train arrived at CST. Just a 20 mins walk from the station, the Nutcracker cafe was just the relaxing ambience I needed. Very simple yet classy interiors, the cafe staff created a very comfortable vibe around. Coming to the food, I tried their grilled cheese sandwich with extra olives and their famous 7 layer cookie. The sandwich was really tasty and filling. The dessert was heavenly as its description. I was indulged in the dessert that I forgot to take a picture of it 😅.
Really like the place ... its small but the interiors are really cozy neat and clean.. as its a small place is perpetually packed ... the staff is friendly ...the service is really goodWe ordered :hummus n pita : hummus was good the hint of garlic was an add onSmoky paprika penne : really good ... must try ..Barley and cracked wheat upma : something different and flavourful...the add on is the shaved almonds ... jus 1 thing it could b a little moist ..Hot chocolate : this was delicious n howMango cheese cake: really soft and melts in the mouth .. i m a mango loverrr so it was like cherry on the icingPanner burji slider was very oily so we sent it back .. server asked us again if he could make it fresh for us again...so they are very helpful ..
A small cozy cafe located in the heart of Kalaghoda, a famous artsy neighborhood. Less dining space means the cafe gets full faster and sometimes one has to endure long waiting time before being seated. The cafe serves beverages like varieties of coffees, shakes and teas along with a decent food menu. Choose desserts from a small dessert counter and their 7 layered dessert is a must try.
The OOPMH breakfast place... Breakfast fit for a king. Sure even the king had to wait for a table but it was totally worth the wait.A place that had been bookmarked for so many months is finally off it with a grand Sunday breakfast.Started off with some mint hot chocolate and the oero shake. Mint hot chocolate out of this world.. a must for all who visit this place. Perfect blend of mint and hot chocolate. The eggs kejriwal, the Salli eggs, the veg Kheema and chilli cheese scrambled eggs with mushrooms to start off with. The food perfectly cooked which makes you keep diving in and going back for more and more. Special mention to the Salli eggs and eggs kejriwal must try again.Well we couldnt obviously leave without the pancakes from a breakfast place so the classic buttermilk pancakes with maple and blueberry compote. HEAVEN PURE HEAVEN.The glut in us didnt allow us to leave without the special dark chocolate waffle and that was ordered and hogged down as well. Will definitely be back for more good breakfast and a must visit place in Mumbai for sure.
Only outside visitMust be good
Stepped in on a Sunday morning. The place was packed, every table occupied. We ordered the soya keema with Salli (thin, crisp strips of potato) with buttered pav and waffles with strawberries. The waffles were crisp, the strawberries fresh. The soya keema was surprisingly good. Being a hardcore non-vegetarian who really fancies mutton keema, Id expected the soya keema to be rather disappointing. It was pretty good.Though the place was full, the service wasnt tardy at all. The staff was prompt and eager to help
Just love the place.Period!
Really cool small cozy place with a variety of Parsi dishes. I had the salli eggs yesterday and they were awesome. Let me warn you thats a very heavy dish and me and my wife could only finish half each. So if youre ordering for 2 then just order one portion. Cappuccino is really nice. Im from nyc and I should mention that this cappuccino was better than many Ive had there in 17 years of living in nyc.
Place is small but it is good in cake. Only five table. In night i think parking easy
Turkish eggs are the bestFrench toast was fluffy
I had a lovely experience here.Lovely staff and a great ambience. The music was pretty on point..The Turkish eggs were delicious, the right quantity and the accompanying toasted pita was a highlight.I definitely rate their fresh mint lemonade- dont be put off by the green colour of it!The only downside is the desserts and cakes seem overly priced compared to everything else.
Superb food. Loved the cheesecake and the caramel sauce which came with it was to die for! Excellent service inspite of being full always.
Warm and cosy decor. Variety is limited and has a personal touch.
Wonder full place....Staff are supportive .. food taste is good as well as their menu
Superb pancakes.. a 10/10 for food and service.
Quality of food and desserts is excellent, but only vegetarian options available.
Our all time favorite! Cant miss the breakfast in a bottle, Asian salad and 7 layer cookie
Excellent ambience, tasty food, a bit over priced but worth visiting.
Great food in a cozy environment
South Mumbai’s gem. The Dhansaak is awesome, as is their Risotto. The desserts are superb 👌🏾
Its a very cozy joint ... I always liked it ... however its always crowded... which is the only thing I hate about it ...
Its fantastic place
Cozy little café in the by lanes of Kalaghoda and Ballard pier. Nice interiors not ideal for larger groups.Food is tasty and Im looking forward to visiting and eating again at The Nutcracker Cafe. Due to covid precautions, payments is purely digital, so if youre planning to pay by cash do consider making provision for a card / Gpay. One thing you shouldnt miss is the smoothies 👌
Its small place, so it can be kinda uncomfortable, in our current covid circumstances! But also to mention that the measures of saniticing was done properly. Prices are kind of high. Portions are sufficient. It was a good experience but not that great!
The place is shut currently for repairs
We went on general saturday evening and had to wait for around 20-25 mins since this place is very small and have hardly 5-6 tables. Service was also not very good as we waited for around 30-40 mins for our order and that too they forget something from order which we got after another 20 mins. Though food is good. Place is clean and nicely decorated. I loved the interiors of this place. Painting are super amazing.
Quality of food is awesome. However slightly over priced food. Yummy!
Not worthy.... Too much costly.. taste is so so... Nothing special..
Only for breakfast worthy
Delicious food, superb ambience and great service!
Decent ambience but ok food. Very slow services.
Ambient place for delicious food...soft music...timely and mannered service...a bit expensive though!
Their seven layer cookie is the best dessert I have ever tasted.
We love coming to The Nutcracker once every now and then! Not only does this place serve amazing food, but their desserts and beverages are delicious too! Our favourites here are Hot Chocolate, Cookies, Desserts, and Baked Beans on Toast!P.S - do try the sinfully delicious 7 layered cookie! Its heaven!
They served us non Jain instead of Jain! However a good experience
The black bean burger 🍔 was very flavour some & tasty . The spaghetti burrata 🍝was yum but heavy to eat . The Lebanese meal for 2 was quite good with enough quantity for 2 people . Only the bread they gave naming it pita was nowhere close to it . Overall loved the quality of food & the variety they have to offer her . I always love to go dine there where the food is hot & fresh . Cant wait for them to restart.....
Small cosy place with great food !
Love the food. Staff needs be more attentive
A small yet cute and cozy cafe in Southern part of the city . Has some lip smacking food like black bean burger , nachos , bagel 🥯, lebanese sandwich and a lot more. They have beverages which are so refreshing , the best one is basil cooler which is a little tangy and refreshing. The staff is humble and always helpful with helping me choose my order :pOh and i shouldn’t forget they have a Temparory menu once in a month or once in two months which has all sorts of variety.Must try warm lebanese sandwich and cream cheese bagel🥯 .
Small café but very positive vibesAnd food yummy
The place is a small warm cozy cafe serving some delicious unique Lebanese delicacies. The Lebanese sandwich is must have for vegetarians.and the 7 layer mint cookie with butterscotch ice cream can melt your heart anytime.do try this beautiful cafe.
Small cottage like restuarant. Liked the Pesto sandwich
This is one of the best restaurants in Town! Ive been visiting it for around six years. Their milkshakes, smoothies and desserts are to die for! The food portions are adequate and you dont feel like you havent had enough or are being served too less. And the specials menu is always amazing! Theres nothing here that I dont like. The ambience and music are great! More than once it has happened that the music being played had ALL MY FAVOURITE SONGS.
Nice small place , they have a good menu as well.
Tiny place with beautiful wooden theme interior. Come here to chill, enjoy the delicious food enjoying the music in background. Service is quick. A bit heavy on pocket. It hardly has 20- 25 people seating arrangements.
Great place
