Tried this place out even after hearing some bad reviews from my friends about the food being served at the restaurant Kangan and Seasonal Taste. We actually went to Kangan for our 1st wedding anniversary, selection was based on the ambience, 18 floor highway view and cosy candle light dinner. The choice was right given the ambience was perfect.After having a look at the menu, we tried there Signature Menu and Non veg menu. The concept was a buffet served at your table. The food was nice and tasty.Everything went well until the next day when we both experienced upset stomachs. I dont know what happened here, but this is something not expected from a 5 star venue. The dinner didnt really feel worth it after the incident.

The food was delicious and the hospitality amazing. Totally loved the way they handled our requests and the service they provided us. Mr Ashish and his team is doing a great job.Do try Bhuney Masale ka Paneer Tikka starter and Shakahari Kofte sabji. Sabji had kofta made of dried plums and apples and they taste amazing. Gravy can be made according to your taste.Couldnt try more as we werent too hungry. The tables with view are amazing.Will visit again for sure.

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the city life along with amazing hospitality and courteous staff. They serve superlative quality of food that tastes really awesome and definitely delicious. Worth craving for. The taste of the food specially suggested by chef devendra sharma was delish to another level. Definitely worth the cost you pay for.kangan has some brilliant north indian food served. Definitely a must go ! They are known for their authentic dal kangan.

The best indian food I’ve ever tried.

Had a memorable experience at Kangan, a North Indian cuisine restaurant on the 18th floor of the Westin, Goregaon East. There is A La Carte options and a 4 course meal option available including Jain cuisine. We went for the Vegetarian set menu which was a sumptuous and delicious one. Staff is very courteous and polite. There is also a live Lak bangle counter which is free for ladies. In terms of price, the restaurant is on the steeper side but its worth it in case you want to make someone feel special

Kangan, part of the westin at Goregaon is a fine dine restaurant with amazing food. Not econonic as compared to standard fine dines but the view, service and the brand hospitality is totally worth it. Do not hesitate to take the highway facing seat for the best experience.

Absolutely loved it! The first thing thats amazing about Kangan even before you sample the food is the view. Perched on the 18th floor of Westin Hotel, it gives a panoramic view of the Western Expressway glistening with evening lights.We started with Tomato-Tulsi-Dhaniya shorba which was full of flavours. Dudhiya kebab for appetizer was melt in mouth. In the mains we ordered their signature dish Dal Kangan with Garlic Naan and Kangan Masaley ka Paneer. The Dal is just mind-blowing and out of the world. It can only be appreciated by having it. The naan was soft & fluffy and the paneer dish was ok.The ambience is awesome. A special mention for our serving host for the evening Siddhesh who was warm and polite and made our visit special with great service.Awesome experience!

Everything from the food to the ambience to the spectacular view of the city was perfect. The chicken biryani is a must try. The only thing which can be improved are the spread of deserts. But overall it is a great experience and will surely visit again.

I love this restaurant simply because of variety of food it offers, taste and great ambiance of this place. Though some time they take time to cook your dishes properly but that;s worth when you find those dishes as you desired. An ideal place for family occasion and romantic date both.

Kangan is located in Westin hotel in goregaon its a 4* star restaurant. The view is amazing from this restaurant. Dont visit the place without booking the table belive me you have to wait a lot. They got good varieties in food menu. The food was great service is nice. Being high profile restaurant price are bit high. Staff is polite overall great experience.

Kangan is excellent ambience ,quite expensive .Visited 3 to 4 times there but lately their flavor of food is missing ,not so great taste .They need to improve their flavor of food .Missi rotti and railway chicken curry is worth ti taste.

Had been to this place with my love on her Birthday.. We ordered unlimited option in set menu.. It starts with healthy soup, 4 different types of starters which were mouth licking and the 4 types of sabji alongwith assorted breads.. The best of this was Kangan Special Daal Makhni and rice loaded with Full for. Pure Ghee..Best place to enjoy with your family and friends..

Nice view from this restaurant and delicious food, if you are looking for Indian food at a 5-star setting. I and my wife tried its set menu, which had variety and much more than adequate portions. Found it better than Seasonal Tastes, Westins multi-cuisine restaurant on same (18th) level. As we are veggie, this review applies only to veg food.

Very warm service people who take care of you r excellent and treat you like a delicacy. The food was good and just not gr8 fantastic takes on it. You can get a very aerial view of the suburban fare like marine drive our w e highway swirling down from kandivili towards andheri from the 18th floor thats one plus . You are accompanied by family crowd u get jain food . You can zip vertically in just a min to 28 floors but food yet i need to think about it. The spiciest chicken bageti was sweet and i prayed my dessert gulab jamun shouldnt be a spoiler but they managed it well. You will curse me if i recommend it. So risk it its a starwood property @!!!.

I dont understand how can people even think of spending lavishly at this place. After eating the food I felt either I am in Europe or US. It was tasteless to say the least. Located on 18th Floor of Westin it has decent views of the Western express Highway and Aarey colony. Important to note that table with a view is available only for groups upto 3 people. Interiors are ok but seating is very comfortable. Food quality is exceptionally good and well prepared. The one area where the restaurant did not meet my expectations was with regards to the ambience. Staff was very polite and service was prompt.

We visited this place on a Saturday evening. We arrived at around 8 pm then the place was nearly empty, but when we left at around 11 the place was buzzing with people.As we were a group of 12 people, we went for their fixed non vegetarian menu.We tried :Murgh Zafrani soup:I loved this soup a lot as it had a mild taste and smell of caramelized onion along with saffron. This is a must try soup.Lehsooni jhinga:In seafood we were served this appetizer and this was the Best among the lot. I cant remember -thr number of repeats I ordered.Mutton galawati kebab:These kebabs were really soft and had a rich smell, but the taste seemed funny for my taste buds.Jaitooni paneer tikka :This was another nice flavorful dish in vegetarian.Murgh jahangiri raan:This was chicken leg piece marinated in rich spices oven. I loved this one.Coming to main course we tried a range of seafood, chicken as well as vegetarian dishes out of which I loved the Murgh Makhani a lot.In desserts, all of them were Indian desserts like Gulab Jamun, Kulfi Falooda and Ras Malai.Overall I enjoyed my meal, but the service was really slow.Thank you Team Kangan for hosting us.

Loved it.It wa my 2nd time, had gone there to have Buffet like earlier. But as it was having waiting so we went to Kangan to have Ala carte.We order 1 veg and 1 Dal, had ordered both to be spicy but it was not but the most good part they go and made it better the way i like it.Roti was nice.Kevin fromt he Bar made us awesome Cocktails.It was an amazing experience. Will love to come here again

Last night visited Kangan at Westin Mumbai.We were tired after ganpati darshan.So thought to eat roti n subzi, plus relax.After finding out about Diwani hand, we placed our order.But when our food arrived the subzi was so disappointing. . Because . . it was just leafy vegetables n carrots with few pieces of baby corn.The subzi had no taste.It was so weird.We were paying 1000Rs, it was v.v painful.We told them our honest opinion n they tried to make us comfortable.But my question is how does it reach the menu card.It was a bad experience on the whole.

Minimum options for food .. cocktail seemed like jaljeera water for which u pay something not worth .. good for luxury not food .

The food is good, however service is very slow and disappointing. Overall for the price its not really worth it.
