Great infrastructure. Luxurious stay at a reasonable price. Very well behaved staff. Great food. Endless options for food. The only issue is with the mosquitoes. Ask for a mosquito repellent, in case you dont want to wake up in the middle of the night. Everything else is awesome!

Spend my birthday weekend at Sahara for 2 nights. Was a good experience, relaxing & peaceful away from citi noise. Excellent service by staff members, starting from security, reception, house keeping n restraunt very helpful n polite. Only disappoint was lounge & spa was shut, Initially during booking was told its operational but we do understand covid policies, not hotels fault. Breakfast was good, limited food options for in room service. Overall great place, comfy rooms.

Its a wonderful hotel. The staff is helpful. They followed all covid protocol. The food is awesome. Huge variety to choose from both veg and nonveg. However, due to covid some of the areas were closed like the swimming pool, the Lagoon restaurant, and a couple of others. Kids may find it less interesting as there are no activities in the hotel.

Its a grand hotel . Every where from entry to lobby to hotel facing room all are just grand. Specially breakfast buffet is full of delicacies . City facing rooms are rather smaller in size but it had also different experience all together. Highly recommended.

Checked in today for a booking of 16 rooms for 7 nights. The staff behaviour is poor. The housekeeping is not upto the mark. The faucets and showerheads are broken in some rooms.You have to wait 5 min to get connected to the reception/service. Never staying here again.We have such a huge booking and still the service is so poor, I can’t imagine the service for smaller bookings.Never staying here again.

The infrastructure and the Curated Decor takes all the eyes for the internal garden. The only star missing for me is hospitality of Jade Ball room, we had wedding shoot and they end up showing mis-management at the time of bidai.

Nice staycation at Sahara star. The staff at the reception was calm and welcoming. Felt glad on receiving a complimentary cake for my sons 6th birthday. Venue Premier room was neat and in good condition. The TV stopped working at 11pm at night, and the staff came to fix it in morning after our request. Overall, the service, food and hygiene was good. Social distancing was well established during breakfast.

Its a star hotel known for its unique design. Now a dyas you can even get some good deals out there for stay if you want to. Frequented by mostly travellers most of which are corporate. The rooms are spacious and with good amenities with a unique gallery that shows the Earth Plate lounge. It can be both a boon or an hinderance depending on the situation. Since you may feel invasion of privacy. The ambience is surely one to enjoy.

A great experienceThe room being a Suite, was obviously enormous. Two separate wash rooms was a win. The curved window panes that ran to the roof were a delight. Breakfast is pretty awesome with a lot of variety (not sure why folks are complaining about it). Location didn’t have much of a meaning to me since I’m a resident of the city.

The rooms are excellent with a balcony facing the lagoon.. Food was also really good but wish there were more options for the non vegetarians... Everything was really good but just the service was not great.. It took an hour for them to get us 3 items that we had asked that too after many calls made to them..

We took the sky view rooms in 6th floor,the rooms were great,natural light is enough in the bedroom area if the weather is good,the interiors are amazing specially where we had our breakfast,where you can view the entire hotel area. 4 star because the housekeeping was not upto the mark,it felt a little dusty and damp even though the sunlight was directly upon us. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Lobby and the courtyard looks fabulous.rooms and the passage are averageview from balcony is a treat to your eyesdont book a dinner package with room as u will be disappointed by the food served without starters and tasteless food.only disappointment was dinner.

The staff at the hotel is exceptionally good. They greet you with a large smile which makes your day even better. During the times of Covid - 19 good precautionary measures have been taken. One has ballet parking available for both cars and bike available here.The food provided is of great quality.

This was my second time at hotel Sahara Star with family. All staff in the hotel was found wearing masks and taking covid precautions. Room was neat and clean. Morning buffet breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Inside atmosphere was awesome. It is one of a kind experience staying in Sahara Star. Interior and Earth Lagoon superb. Swimming pool was not operational due to covid. Thank you Sahara Star for great hospitality.

Unique hotel building exterior and very excellently furnished hotel at the domestic Airport terminal. Two types of room are available in the circular building, city facing rooms and inside facing rooms. The inside facing rooms have balconies that give the view of all other rooms and the lobby, lounge area , pool. Unique design, great experience.bedzide smart control for lighting, ac etc was of high quality and very easy to use. Wonderful food, courteous staff (1000+) makes the hotel neat, clean and very guest friendly.

Went there to enjoy my afternoon but when we came out then we got to know that our car had scratches. After waiting for an hour they were saying it was there before we arrived however we know that the scratch was not there. Upset with valet parking and then the behaviour of the staff of not accepting there mistakes

The stay was amazing they upgraded the room as we were facing a lil trouble with the previous room, the room was quite big with a balcony. The staff was well behaved and dressed. The food was nice the best thing they serve herbal hookah at one of their resturant.

Hotel is too good, conveniently located n with forest type interior. All food buffets were also good with a lot of varieties. Rooms are beautiful n floor to roof glasses just make them awesome.

Not a five star. Rooms were fine but food was not upto the mark. Especially the free buffet breakfast was bad. Roasted potatoes had gone bad and we had to let me know and they still let it remain in the counter. Room service dinner was very okok. 250rs for one naan!!! the least you could do was make sure it was hot. Skip his hotel if you are looking for a five star experience.

Went for a Teej function in the Coral Banquet. Decor was beautiful. Some food items were delicious, some were cold while some were not tasty at all.However the staff was very proactive, made sure the food was served as per the order.

We booked the Mercury City view room for 3. I expected little more better than reality. The room was okayish and the lights were too dark. Dim lights made it tough to actually clicks any photos or do much. The room view had a large window with the view of Other Hotels around this property. The food at inside restaurant Namak was delicious and hence 4 stars. Of course it is bomb expensive but yes the quality and taste was mindblowing! Overall an Okay-Dokie experience!We clicked pictures inside the hotel property and that came out good. That was the highlight of the whole stay!

I dont know why they claiming themselves as five star hotel. Trust me guys it was no where near to three star in terms.of experience.Service is pathetic.Morning buffet breakfast was even worst part it didnt even match the 2star hotel segment in terms of taste and options .Regretting why i have paid so much and get nothing.

Had terrible check in experience. The rooms are very small for city view and there is lot of walking from lift to rooms. The receptionist were very unprofessional. We upgraded to other room which were near lift. The corridor were shady and stinking of smoke and dust. The breakfast spread was limited and no sanitization was done to open places. The lights were also not lit. Infact the existing lighting was shut off by 10.30. Overall not a good experience. The garden and landscape is very beautiful in the middle of hotel. Thats one not to be missed. Rest all was OK experience. Wouldnt suggest people to stay there

Went to Mabrook for dinner!! We ate the Lebanese way, with all food on the table and we ate from the serving dishes.. Their Mezze platter, bread, grilled prawns, grilled lamb and chicken and we finished this scrumptious meal with pistachio baklava and yummilicious kanufeh..

More than 50% part of hotel was not operational and no space to sit for family in open space, not informed same while booking.Rooms were good and service also good.Can go for sahara star, only if want to stay inside room.

I stayed there for a night.At reception we were told dinner is served at EAST restaurant and the room service person connect to restaurant department , they said EAST restaurant is not operational. We went down and we came to know EAST will open at 7:30pm .The staff are not aware .There were no sanitizers in the room or any where.Staff are not friendly.There was no contact person to guide us.We had to ask for staff who can carry luggage,if we would not had asked we would have to carry luggage by our own.There is no sitting area as per lift man staff,then wen we went towards reception area there was a sitting space.Baki food was good, the room was good.

A home away from home. From the outside porch where your car is taken away most politely, security smiles and do their duty, SS is a place amazes me everytime I visit.Wide expanse, neat and clean all over, choice of restaurants and a lovely open air type restaurant facility at the center, Mabrook, the Arabic speciality one.SS was always dear to many, its still dear to them and shall remain so for many many years.

Good Facade overall , decent service , but the property is not maintained well seems , the carpets were dirty , the bathroom fittings have problem and drainage issues in the bathroom .Otherwise it’s good for a night of stay . It has beautiful lagoon view and is finest in terms of food at namak and Manuhar .

My favourite hotel in Mumbai!Beautiful interiors. Stunning design. The new done up renovation is prettier than the previous one.Beautiful 5 star hotel by Sahara Group. Visited almost 30+ times, for lunch, dinner, coffee and stay over. Never disappointed with any of the services. Choice of 6-7 restaurants with all different cuisines. Amazingly designed with lovely views all around. the Ocean restaurant allows you to have Oriental cuisine right next to the aquarium- which is apparently one of the biggest aquariums in India. You will never have a dull moment here.Food Quality- Super !Rooms- Absolutely Modern !

The staff falsely informed us that we will be able to explore the hotel, but at night no lights were on and there was only darkness. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and for nothing to explore at all. The staff has no coordination among themselves. Its just for the namesake that the hotel is good and all. Its just okayish. THE LEELA hotel is much better and cheaper and with best breakfast. Choose The Leela.

My check in time was 2pm and rooms alloted to me at 4.30pm. My parents are senior citizen and we all are waiting for 2 and half hours for our check in. Normally where we go there are more than 20 items in buffet and here are just 3_4. I dont consider this hotel as 5 star.

Went for lunch to Manuhaar- the vegetarian thali experience. Food was delicious, staff was courteous. The cuisine was mainly Rajasthani- Gujarati. There was a good variety of sweets, farsans, sabzis and roti/puri/ puranpoli. Highly recommended especially for those who prefer a veg only restaurant!

We booked online for 4 nights but to our harrowing experience we checked out next day, intact we wanted to cancel the moment we entered the room.No way you cann call it 5 star property, bad furniture, worst light arrangement, wet floor, and worst upholstery.I would never ever even think of staying with Sahara star

Infrastructure is great, rooms are superb but the service is pathetic. I stayed here for a night and booked a suite room on my birthday. First of all they didnt answer calls for booking, after reaching the hotel it took around 30 mins for the check-in process. For in room dining they didnt answer any calls, some girl at reception said that she will connect me to in-room dining line but even after calling them for 5 times, no one answered any calls. Employees need intense training, when we pay around 12-14k a night we atleast deserve their response! 🙄

Planned a surprise for my Wifes birthday & It was Awesome stay and excellent serviceIt was my wifes birthday so planned a stay @ Sahara Star. As its covid we didnt wish to travel far and let me share that this was best decision to book a stay at Sahara Star Hotel. Special Thanks and all credit goes to Rohit Maharaj, as he made the stay worth it and helped me add beautiful moments for my wifes birthday. The room we stayed in was too good with a bath tub and excellent view. Also, we opted for all 3 meals- Buffet which was also suggested by Mr Rohit and that was best part. Sahara Star also organized for a special Birthday Cake, to add in the Surprise stay and the beautiful stay. I would recommend Mumbaikars to opt for such a stay @ Sahara Star instead of going too far to lonavala and avoid the traffics and crowd. Thank you for Wonderful experience Rohit :) Good Luck to you.

Once you make the reservation, this place has some unsaid and weird rules. You cant call food from outside, they make you remove your personal speakers at entrance and moreover guests are not allowed.Wasted an hour arguing with the irrational staff. Had no option as I had already made booking in advance.PS - This ordeal happened on my friends bday whom I went to wish the Bday.

Booked a room here for one night..Being a 5Star hotel the prices were really reasonable..We took a package of all meal..The food was really really Good..Breakfast had a wide spread.. Could have added more items to the menu though(especially for non vegetarians)Room was very very spacious..Clean and upto the mark..We got a nice Lagoon facing balcony.. it was beautiful ..We booked for the Earth lagoon which have balcony but received an upgrade from the hotel for Mercury lagoon which had a balcony and a bathtub.. Loved the upgrade..We ordered for in room dining.. it was prompt and yummy too..Saddest part is the room service..When you book a room for 2.. there should be a pack of 2 of everything..Toothbrush and slippers were given just one..We had to keep calling for it..And they took like forever to deliver it.. had to call a multiple times.. and finally they gave it to us after an hour..And I so wished they took covid protocols seriously..Apart from the hotel staff, the guest were roaming freely without wearing mask.. and no one even bothered to tell them to wear mask..No sanitizer bottle was provided nor there were sanitizer bottle kept at every corner of the hotel..The food court was over crowded.. no social distancing was practiced..Overall the experience was good..Would definitely like to visit again when things get back to normal..

Had to wait 20+ minutes for my checkin while there wasnt anyone ahead or behind me in the que. After a flight and waiting 30 mins waiting for cab you dont want that. They need to work on streamlining that. Rest all was good.

Three star mainly.for this...Room.interiors: 6/10.Hospitality : 3/10Food: 5/10The view is amazing of the lagoon area...loved that...but overall hospitality and courteousness was very sub standard in comparison other equivalent hotels ..at other equivalent hotels you feel pampered, here you feel you are treated low. .Will share specific experience: we were booking our room for weekday. The reservation team suggested they have an deal of dinner included package. It was also mentioned that regular dinner is above 2.5 k and they are giving us a deal as it is weekday. We went ahead and to our dismay, it was realised the dinner included is not regular buffet which is an elaborate version, but that is separate and you will be diverted to another restaurant wherein they have limited options only ...honestly only 2 veg subzi ..on raising this issue...they only said, this is how it is and we cant change. We also requested to convert our deal of dinner included to only room and we will go ahead for main buffet, they suggested they cannot change the deal and if we want to go for main buffet, we pay them separately for it if we wish.Secondly, once you enter room you will find all amenities are not in place and you need to call each of them separatly and wait for it...the hotel.needs to work out drain lines near bath tub area as well, else the whole bathroom is flooded ..The breakfast is also average,.and if you ask for something like a sandwich which can easily be made, they will say no ...and ask to stick to the menu....They might have limitations and we all understand, but the way in which they reciprocate was not good and thus felt it was not so good staycation and will not recommend it to any one ...except they like to have a good view room only ..Lastly the board walk which is one of the highlight of hotel, is also not open to all and has to be paid separately is what I understand.Apart from this would like to appreciate.the gym trainer Mr. Mayuresh who was the one who was most polite and also suggested us few good things....

Do not take dinner instead order it from zomato instead !!
