Really delicious food with a taste of Egypt, mixed with Africa and Middle East. Our favourite food of the night is the pork ribs, as its so tender and with the spur/tangy sauce it made the pork ribs even more flavourful. We also got the steak, which was okay, for our liking it was a little too well done.The soft shell crab was flavourful, we would have better if the serving was a little more. As after a few bites it was finish.Overall the experience in radio Cairo was good as the food was well cooked

I have ordered today for the first time from Radio Cairo. I had heard the food was amazing and I just had the confirmation it is true!!The Cajun popcorn shrimp, Mozambican tiger prawns are fantastic. It was the highlight of my week. Very happy. Also very efficient delivery!!!

So, theres a rule not to eat at places that do food from more than 1 country. Radio Cairo does that, and the results are consistently affable. All our choices were quite well made, with good ingredients and service as snappy and friendly as a restaurant emerging from a deadly pandemic. Theres choices to please everyone. You wont learn much about food from all around middle East and Africa, which somehow now includes Mexico and the west Indies. But you will eat well prepared food, that will fill you, please you and enjoy a place that will generally satisfy you and your guests.

This place is AMAZING - photos dont do it justice. First time here and the waiter was extremely sweet and gave some great recommendations. From the entrees to the mains, everything was perfection. We ordered roast eggplant dip with pappadum shards, cajun popcorn shrimp, lamb sosaties, pork ribs and lamb shank. Definitely up there as one of our favourite restaurants in sydney!

I dont write reviews enough, but this place certainly deserves one. This my all-time FAVOURITE restaurant in Sydney. Do yourself a favour and get on down there! Every dish is so unique and exploding with flavour. I highly recommend the nile fish curry, the ribs, the steak and, oh heck... the whole damn menu. Keep it up, Radio Cairo. We love you!

Great place. Went for the $20 ribs(Monday!) and ended up having wings and a gorgeous green salad as well. The food was exceptional for the price and the menu had a lot of great items Im keen to try next time.The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.Ill definitely be back.

Each time we go here they cut out seating time short.Last time, we had been told on the phone that we would have a 2 hour seating, but upon arrival (after being seated) we were told it was 1 hour and 15 minutes.All our mains and entrees came out at once, and the table was cleared and we were not offered the desert menu.Our grandmother was still finishing her glass of wine when we were told it was time to leave.A bit rich given the meal cost us $300+. Youd think theyd at least let our grandmother finish her wine!

All the flavours in literally every dish at this place are exciting and delicious. Amazing beef slippers delivered with a delightful smashed up roast spud concoction and yummy chicken wings are my pick. Everything is astounding though.

Consistently great cuisine and every dish is a delight....we be been many times and love RC..the Moroccan Lamb is superb , the portions generous and the staff friendly and helpful...love this place and can’t wait to return !!

Lively place. Everyone seems to having fun. Cocktails are awesome. However food wasnt as I expected. I was expecting some Egyptian styled dishes, where as it had a taste of South Indian spices. They used curry leaves and coriander seeds, which I personally wouldnt want in such dishes.Presentation was good.Place can be recommended for drinks and lovely atmosphere.

Delicious, fast service....will come again, and I dont live in the state.Best food was the Cajun popcorn...and jalapeno margarita

Very busy, well loved cafe. In peak times, you can feel a bit forgotten about but there of plenty of staff that are a question away. We had one dish that appeared to be forgotten but the staff ensured that it appeared moments after asking. Large portions and absolutely delicious food. We keep going back time and time again as of the quality. Look forward to going back again.

It was all we wanted, loved the flavours and variety. Cadjun popcorns and chicken lollypops were the best. My #5yo who’s usually a fussy eater loved them both. Restaurant is lovely, awesome setup and detail.

Went there @8pm on a Thursday Night. I had their Tasting Sample Menu.It was filling and was quite nice.Service was friendly and the delivery of the samples were spread evenly over night.

One of my favourite dinner spots. Best fusion restaurant in the Northern Beaches. Food is well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Love this place! Great team of staff always very welcoming, fantastic music, delicious share style food and their cocktails are the bomb! My missus and her friends love their lychee martini. Once there you must try AFRO fries and RIBS.

Great restaurant offering some unique food options. Dishes are recommended to be shared and come in small and large sizes. I would have given 5 stars if the large sizes had been a bit larger. Not quite big enough to be considered a meal.

Long term consistency of a great & timeless menu. I wouldn’t mind a few more seasonal specials. Don’t forget to add Afro fries to your order. A tad naughty but what the heck if your worried about the waist or hip line cook at home.

Thoroughly impressed with the menu.. went for the Sri Lankan dishes today. The baby octopus curry was the winner.. just melted in the mouth. Cheese toast with devilled onions is perfect. Highly recommend this place.. must be good if its been in business for 15+ years!

The food at Radio Cario is amongst the tastiest I have had. Cannot compliment the chef highly enough. Extremely friendly staff and a wonderful buzz throughout the restaurant. Definitely will return when Im back in Sydney again . The Abyssinian coffee served in a clay pot was the ideal finish to a perfect meal

I have been going to Radio Cairo since the early 90s. This has got to be one of my most loved places to dine in the world. The menu has been the same since then and the quality is always perfect. Plus the service is superb. Thanks Laurence you are a star.

I had dinner there with a large group with some surprise arrivals and they were very good and able to accomodate us although we booked for a smaller group. A very eclectic menu with some nice dishes, and great for sharing in a large group. This was my second visit and enjoyed it both times.

Food is DELICIOUS. Want something different? This is a must go to for something atypical. Full of flavours and spices. Huge selection of meals, great when sharing between 5 to 8 people. Lots of different meat choices. But also salads and side dishes. Great selection of wines and cocktails. Staff is also of good help if not sure what to get.We had some snapper, chicken and curried beef, some of the spicy couscous which I loved, and some of that roti with spicy eggplant. Definitely generous with portions and flavours. Nothing was dull or too much.Recommend ✔💯💯💯💯

Generally a good restaurant with quality food. Its unfortunate that the waitress decided to chase my First Nations companions down the street demanding a bill theyd already paid. She might consider checking with the cashier next time, or take some time to think before making assumptions about her customers.

Been coming here for many years. Food is consistently good but portion size has decreased significantly. It’s not super cheap so a bit more to eat would have been nice. Service was good and my over microwaved Portuguese Tart was replaced without drama. Music was fantastic. 4* because of portion size and the toilets were grim.

Tried this place a couple of months ago. It was brilliant! I cant fault it! Its best if you get a few dishes to share. The Moroccan Lamb fillets were amazing. Very cool atmosphere inside, great music and good selection of wines too.

Didnt manage to order any food, the restaurant was too busy and it didnt look like they had enough staff.

Gave this restaurant a 3🌟 review in my Uber Eats app after the takeaway i ordered was delivered to me, because i Would have ordered the duck breast on Tlaquepaque guacamole IF it a large main item And if there was a sub-selection option for there Not to be guacamole {avocado} . I suggest this as i was afraid that IF i ordered it as 1 of the 3 items in my order tonight that the cooking staff would miss the order notes. I also gave the 3🌟 rating as there is little choice in the way of different types of bread available i suggest Radio Cairo offer a dumper bread {or buns} or even sultana bread. Also this restaurant deserves a 3🌟 rating as there isnt a drinks menu , or no kids menu. The rice & cos-cos combo could do with extra additives of dried fruit and shredded vegetables to the rice half of that item.😓🍱🛵

What a great little gem this place is. We found it by accident when staying close by, and have returned since. Very interesting variety of foods. While it can be a bit cramped, this just lends to the atmosphere (we have eaten in cafes in Cairo and the feeling is so close). They make the best Sticky Date pudding, but it only comes up as a special every so often, not a regular menu item .... unfortunately. I’m not a regular reviewer, but this place was so good it made me do something I don’t usually do. Well done guys.

Very busy restaurant with eclectic decor and most importantly an excellent menu varied and interesting cuisines from Africa to Asia. The meals are nicely presented and of a very high standard. The venue can get very noisy and cramped on a Saturday night but it settles down after 8:30pm. Well worth a visit, your wont be disappointed with what is on offer.

This place was outstanding a few years ago, but quality of food and service is not what it used to be.Still good and I would still go (and do sometimes) but as mentioned, its lost the wow factor it once had.P.S. I cant stand waiters standing over me when it comes to the awkward tip dance at the end of the evening.

Really nice food. A couple of vegans options and nearly everything is gluten and dairy free. When you walk in to the restaurant you no longer feel like your in Sydney which is cool! The service was quite average but not bad.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Everything on the menu is now gluten free. I really didnt think I could love a place more. They have more specials than you could eat in a year. You can get out of there quite cheaply, but who would want to when everything on the menu is so delicious.Radio Cairo is my favourite restaurant in Sydney. I live in Bronte and still go there! Thanks for the great service and food!!

Radio Cairo was an amazing experience. The prices are very reasonable and each dish was just a mouthwatering mix of exotic flavours. The space is beautifully decorated. If you are looking for somewhere a bit different, I would highly recommend it.

We just ordered from here on UberEats. While the food arrived cold so we were refunded, we could tell it was still good food. Recommend eating here when COVID shutdown is over. Chicken lollipops and lamb skewers were lovely. Shame you can’t order direct for delivery rather than through UberEats. Thanks guys.

Went for dinner last night. Good atmosphere and tasty food. Our table was a bit small and its not a great place to go if you want to have a conversation as it was quite noisy.

Pros: Interesting food selection. Some very unique flavours, and every dish that came out was very tasty! Even the drink selection was great.Cons: Expensive for what you get. The menu recommends sharing, but the portion sizes arent even good for 1-2 people. Food took over 40+mins to get to the table, after which when we wanted to order more we were told You guys realize that theres a second seating and we need you out of here in an hour.

Food was above expectation very crowded and I would not like to be there if a fire broke out. There is also 2 settings which tends to hurry your night

Great food loved everything we ordered. Was a group of us so choice 5-6 different things on the menu all was as good as each other. Only thing felt the service was a bit slack.
