Was good... Now they dont put in the effort or have quality control. Every time you buy a sandwich its a lottery. Sometimes spicy other times mild, sometimes cold (like this time) and other times too hot. Im convinced they just reheat sandwiches they made days ago. The only consistent thing is the drop in quality and taste.Do not recommend unless your a gambler. I can see now why the average rating has fallen to 3.7 stars
I ordered catering for 20 people yesterday and I am super happy with their food quality and quantity.Their food is super tasty and they give more than enough quantity with very reasonable price.
Very tasty and delicious food , ordered catering for a party of 40 ppl . The Lamb biryani and Chicken tandoori was excellent. The Kheer was also very good
I ordered food for a family reunion over the long weekend. The food was delivered on time and was piping hot. The quantity was more than enough for the guests. The food was liked by everyone who ate it.Apart from a very good experience, I also found out that they can tweak the recipe to some extent to suit ones palate, like more sugar in the halwa or less gravy in the karahi. For sure I will recommend them to my friends and relatives.
Their food tastes delicious and servings are generous. Prices are also reasonable. Something that I would go to all the time and becoming a repeat customer. However, their service is below standards. It really is atrocious. It takes forever for staff to come out and serve customers. On top of that, they’re not friendly. They don’t greet and smile at customers. They appear to be miserable all the time, perhaps staff are exhausted? I’m not sure but I can tell that they need to improve when it comes to facing clients. Customer service goes a long way.
We ordered catering for a b-day party. One of the best places we have gotten authentic Pakistani food. The Kheer was just perfect, right amount of sweet. Chicken Qorma had the perfect balance of species. We will definitely order again from Karachi Kitchen.
Their chicken biriyani is simply one of the best in GTA! Very flavourful biriyani. It’s must try and you wouldn’t believe the price! If you like spicy, ask them to make it spicy, it gets even better. However, their other items are very average, nothing worth mentioning.
Been buying Karachi kitchen for 10 years now, had one of the best biryanis for reasonable price in the GTA. However last two times I went food is mediocre at best and price have gone up. Disappointed with the change. Wont go back now. Not sure why all Halal restaurants are hiring Indian students who dont eat meat nor do they have any professional expertise. Probably to save money and pay them low cash wages. Very disappointing, please hire professionals and not some students who are just trying to pay off tuition and get their PR. Obviously they wont cook with the love and dedication an actual chef would
This place has a very reasonably priced chicken biryani at $5. They also serve lamb and veal biryani on the weekends. There are a lot of Pakistani takeout options ranging from tandoori chicken to fish, kali daily and so on. Great option for a quick dinner or weekend lunch.
5$ spicy biriyani is the best. 5/5
Sauce to food ratio is way out of proportion, but you can always use the leftovers to cook more food at home. Delicious!
Chicken biryani is really good both quality and quantity. I usually order for takeout. So, by the time I go to pick up it already ready. Excellent customer service😎
Got 5 buryani, no spoons, forks, or even tissue. In addition their food quality has dropped drastically. You get cold and old food. When the food is hot it tastes as if it was microwaved. This place needs to get its act together and return to the great food it made before
The restaurant had a different staff few years ago, back then meals tasted good . last 2 times i ordered food from here in 2021,first it was below standard , we ordered kebabs they made them ready in 5 minutes but were under cooked it was like eating raw minced chicken, second time i reminded them 3 times to cook it properly so its not undercooked this time they gave less food then what was ordered they shorted on the # of chicken kebabs and they were still undercooked. if you go to other locations of this restaurant the food is okie this location the meals are not properly prepared , even the biryani has lack of taste like eating plain rice. this restaurant is okie if your student and you dont know how to cook anything. after the recent experience here and a bad experience here once before few years back i have decided to not return to this location.
Probably one of the Best fish sandwich I ever had Periid. Bought 2 today. Fish and Naan.Best Naan for sure.Only problem. Is too cheap. $ 5.99This sandwich is equal to 3 big mac in portion size. They definitely can get $ 8.99 for it. Wow!
Their kabab rolls are a really good value for money at $5 , the size of the wrap is definitely not a snack size. The bread tastes amazing (probably because it is made fresh in house)and stuffing in the wrap is well spread so that you get a taste of it all throughout and never feeling like just eating the bread.Definitely going back to try some other items on the menu to see if the 4 stars can be converted to a 5 star review.
Was very good before, now is more good. No clean and no tasty.
Great customer experience I went there yesterday.I ordered veg Biryani from Karachi kitchen. The person Prabh treated me in a very nice manner. Fresh and tasty food.😃
I like to support local businesses, so I will definitely give them a 5 star. However, the staff definitely need to invest more into customer service. The staff come off as very rude. The food is great, price point is great. Cash or Debit is only option of payment.
Ordered from here for Eid. The food was okay- salad was all brown and looked gross. Please do better!
I said this before and I’m gonna say it again. 50% of the time they serve food here from yesterday. Specially biryani and their curries.
Terrible food, the naans were like a lump of rubber, almost difficult to chew, paneer was absolutely lousy and tasteless.
Perfect place to take out. Very delicious
I have gotten food from here at least 950 times. Love this place. I could eat biryani all day every day. ✌️🐼
Called to order fish and kabab roll waited 30 mins . Got the food it was all old and cold tastless . Called to complain they kept denying and were telling me i was wrong been a customer for 15 years . This place used to be good not anymore ! Could get better food and treatment elsewhere .
The biryani costs $5 and its a lot better than almost every other biryani place I tried in the gta. Really good value for the price, would recommend
This is best take out Desi restaurant in the whole GTA. I have tried numerous Desi restaurants but here you can get quality with quantity. If you want to eat tasty and delicious food, then Karachi Kitchen is the perfect place. Their food quantity is great with quality too. Their prices are so cheap. I loved their Biryani and Behari Kababs.
Friendly Fast service reasonable priceGreat quantity. Samosas were nice size right price. Biryani chicken was not hot was surprised had to warm up. Place need little bit of update. Food need little bit of love
Good food, qood quantity and good price, we ordered chicken biryani, call before you go
We bought dinner from here and it was really fresh and tasty. I definitely recommend this place. It was very yummy and my family enjoyed the food. The biryani was outstanding
Worst food I ever had asked for Paneer Masala they delivered only tomato sauce with Panner Can’t see any Masala in itButter Naan is rubbery and chewy don’t ever get food from this place
Very good food ,fresh and reasonable price and quantity
Not good. The chicken didnt taste good with the yogurt. I suggest replacing the yogurt for something else like a different type of yogurt.
Cannot go wrong with the Chicken Biryani or Butter chicken. Im looking forward to trying so much more of the menu here.
Food is fairly cheap, genereous portions, tasty food. Overall, bang for your buck.
Delicious food 😋 one of my favorite places
Just called in to inquire about their biryani. The lady on the phone has such an attitude!!! Makes me wonder if they are so rude on call, how much more terrible is their service. Such a let down as the entire family was excited to have a lunch treat from there. Never recommending anyone there and wont bother going there myself.. Such an example of first impressions. Please train your telephone handler, she could do with some customer relation and telephone etiquette training.
Chicken Biryani is good. Affordable.
Chicken biryani was $5. Taste was very average but good from value for money point of view. Seekh kabab and reshmi kabab rolls were very soggy with a lot of tangy sauce dripping from them. Chicken tikka roll also had a lot of tangy sauce but it tasted better and wasnt as soggy as the other two rolls. Customer service was ok. Ambience was ok but didnt look very clean from inside. They only acceted the debit card, no credit card.
Bought the fried fish to go. Had wonderful experiences in the past, HOWEVER tonight was absolutely rubbish. The fish was old, it had been reheated in oil and we could see it been overcooked and burned. Overall not a good experience! Would not recommend Karachi Kitchen.Do yourself the service and DO NOT PURCHASE from here. Or if you do, please have a look in the box so you know what you are getting in to!
Avoid like plague. $5 Biryani is nasty and unauthentic. No flavour to it! Chicken has a plastic texture and smelled like it was heated in a microwave. Management looks to be changed. They were much better before.
Nice food, good quality and quality. Definitely recommended...
Bad service. food was very bad. bought Briyani but the taste was horrible. food was not enough with reference to the price. dont go there
I placed an order for 30 ramadan special dinners for Iftar. Wasif made sure everything was ready and organized. Everyone enjoyed the food, including myself. I highly recommend their food.
Love their chicken biryani.
Mediuk grade food, nothing too hifi
Worst Biryani ever had... it used to be good . Wasted my money. Never going to buy again from this shop.
Great food! Catered for the office. Everyone loved it.
The customer service was great.
Ordered take out reshmi kabab roll and sheek kabab roll. The rolls were big. After opening the package realised they were wrapped in fat naan roti which was quite stale and tasteless. The kababs in it were okay. Overall it only deserves a 1 star in comparison to some years ago when I had rated it 4 plus. I would never suggest anyone to do a take away from them.
Really good biryani for 5$. Call them in advance to check availability as they run out of biryani quickly.
Price and quantity is good but beryani test need to improve.
Nice and amazing taste and quantity is good
Extremely disappointed. I have ordered from Karachi Kitchen over the years and the quality of food used to be amazing but this time I felt how it feels to throw away $80 in the garbage. I ordered a small tray of veal biryani this Fri with 3 orders of haleem. My husband picked up the order an hr before iftar. When he brought the food home I was like WOW they overflowed the biryani tray. But was disappointed to see Haleem serving was the same size as the Raita.Anyways so at iftar time I opened the tray only to find it filled with potatoes vs veal. The taste wasnt the same barely anyone in my house ate it. Previously ordered veal biryani never had potatoes. Half an hr after iftar I stored it in the fridge n took some out for sehri only to notice an odd smell. I thought it was just me but when everyone noticed that it had already gone bad we literally had to take the entire tray n throw it away. I understand the pandemic has hurt all the small businesses but youre hurting yourself by serving old food to customers let alone cut down on its serving.
Customer service quick, and good. Prices are reasonable. Above average practices for food take-out
Not sure why people complain considering the price here. For $5 you get a whole container packed with chicken biryani. It does the job for that price. If you dont need michelin-star quality food at a cheap price, this is the spot.
Amazing food especially their biryani for 6$ is a treat and plentiful(i am a big guy and i can hardly finish it in one go). Nihari and haleem are amazing, so far whatever i have tried has been upto standard. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat pakistani/Indian food.
Great biryani. Cheap and plentiful.
The cheap & best chicken biriyani. I highly recommend this place 👌
Food tastes good, the chutney for Biryani was namesake. Doesnt add anything or flavour to the food. Best they dont give it.Biryani was good. Portion is unbelievable. The regular rectangle take out container was packed to the ceiling with Biryani.Mutton Biryani, special on Fri and SAT was okay. Although we paid 50 percent more than the chicken Biryanis price for the mutton Biryani, we expected bit more. Not portion wise, but sauce or peices of meat and flavour. In fact chicken Biryani tasted better for almost half the price. One star less coz we found hairs in Biryani. The cook should shave well because we also saw other reviews of people finding hair. But we went on and bought the food thinking it happens sometimes while prepping food. Happened again with us and it maybe happening frequently if on my first time we found hair.Cant expect a lot for $5 Biryani and $10but we at least expect hygiene.Thank you.
Last Wednesday I bought sandwiches thats not good like before sorry Im not going back
Not sure if a 5 star can be ever given coz of the service - it’s been one person most of the time who runs around packing, updating order to the kitchen, taking orders and manage take outs.
Loved their chicken bryani and butter chicken, overall food is good too.Been there so many times.place is so clean, staff is very friendly.Food quantity and quality is very good.Must visit
Great takeout place. Clean, efficient and people seem to follow covid protocols.
April 01,2021Lady working at this location is totally pathetic in customer service.I always had a good experience and have been a very old customer, this review is being is posted after several incounters with this lady. She is rude even when youre polite, doesnt have manners to talk.Doesnt takes down food orders properly.Rest of the employees have been veri nice.
Been going here for a decade. Best chicken biryani there is.
Good food, great prices. Would definitely recommend it.
Tried their fried fish, karachi chicken samosa, karri pakoraa, qeema walay naan, biryani and many more... all are super yummy... must try..
I have mixed reviews for this place. Today I bought Biryani that was not fresh at all. It was definitely from the leftovers of yesterday. I had to throw it out
Very delicious food on a reasonable price, fast & good customer service.
I liked biryani....generous quantity for good price
Perfect place for Asian dishes including Biryani
Chicken biryani special w/ extra raita... End of Story
Excellent tasty food. Reasonable prices. Sufficient quantities. If you are into non veg Pakistani food this is the place to try out.
Very bad customer service, they are super rude on the call. I understand its new year eve but the way they speake to their customers is a shame. The woman on the call is very rude and needs some ethics.
Greate food and greate services.
Pak- Indian food served her.woud be a better dine out if allowed dine in.
Tasty and economical authentic Pakistani food
Kebab rolls are the finest, service is exceptional!
No hygiene!!!Biryani had hair inside 🤢Disgusting!!!!
Excellent flavours but pricey ... butter chicken $6+ and all you get is 5 small pieces ofboneless chicken ... chicken briyana is $5+ with lots of rice but chicken is mostly bones. Not worth the money.
The food is phenomenal but the customer service is absolutely trash. Cashier refuses to wear a mask (even when handling food during a pandemic), wait times are ridiculous, and they’ll serve whoever they feel like first.Order ahead for pickup and you’ll have a pleasant experience
The best place for hot n spicy biryani. No. 1 Biryani in town
Serving old food and cold . Not a good quality
Im a costumer i go there very often, Today I went there and I had a very bad experience.I ordered a chicken biryani when opened the box I found Hair , went back to the store and I told the guy politely , he changed the box for me.Went back to my car, I opened the second chicken biryani box I found another hair inside the box.So went to the store again, I found another guy at the cashier, I explained to him everything, he was not polite and told me that was my hair and argued with me! I asked for a refund and left the store! Definitely not going back anymore. I don’t recommend going there because they are not clean and not responsive.
Tasty food and good price..I like this place...I will go back again ...
Nice take out & catering place. Biryani and Fish are tasty and freshly cooked. Qeema Nan is also worth trying out. They have increased prices over time and the food quality goes back and forth. The taste varies a lot between their different branches. For example, Biryani from Meadowale branch is completely different and nothing compared to the one at Dixie. Dixie probably is the original one and so has the best food taste. They also provide reasonably priced catering options & the catering food has always been upto the mark.
Biriyani is nice and good quality for the price. But the gravy is not worth it. The boxes are too small and not that tasty.
Absolutely Horrible customer service. I drove 14km there only to be bad mouthed by lady at my request to have my food served to me in a different container that wasnt Styrofoam because Styrofoam containers are toxic. In the past their staff usually just charged you an extra dollar or two for the 5cent containers which was alright. But this time the lady behind the counter just had to be right. I walked away and planned on writing this review. The management there need to realize the health hazards of using Styrofoam containers. Here is a Snippet: Polystyrene food containers leach the toxin Styrene when they come into contact with warm food or drink, alcohol, oils and acidic foods causing human contamination and pose a health risk to people. Avoid drinking tea with lemon, coffee with dairy cream, fruit juices, alcoholic beverages and wine from Styrofoam cupsNot returning cause nobody deserves to be treated with disrespect. Those who go there, please beware. She was prideful about serving at that location for 6 years. Maybe she is one of the owners who knows.
I like biryani.
Nihari is love here
Ordered food from here since a friend mentioned about the taste, we’ll taste wasn’t bad for the kadhai chicken.! However I had ordered a vegetarian biryani for my mother and we saw pieces of chicken. It’s pretty bad for a vegetarian to see chicken, an eating place should have that right by now, won’t order ever
Very good tast and very reasonable price for chicken biryani. But oil was to much
Delicious food and so flavourful and not heavy on the pocket
Went there for the first time today.. absolutely worth it! The prices are very very reasonable for the area & the quality of the food was great. Ordered 5 Beef Kebab rolls & a couple Biryanis! Highly recommended & will be visiting again
Cheap and good.
