Nice and welcoming restaurant, the girl on reception was so cooperative and smiling. Love the taste and presentation. Food was fresh and they served us nans too with rice platters. Usually they have daily or weekdays deals. That’s amazing too

This restaurant is my favourite restaurant in Mississauga. I come here everyday after the gym with my brother and not only is it really really healthy and good for muscle GainZ, but it is always very tasty and cooked to perfection. The quality of meat is high even tho the price is very reasonable. The food is always fresh and customer service is every better than anything. The workers here make my day everyday and are very hospitable. it almost feels like I am a guest at a family’s house!

This is probably the worst chaplee of all the Afghan places Ive eaten at and they charge more than other places for extra chaplee. It feels like the spices were all on top instead of mixed in to the meat which makes it look nice but does nothing for the flavour. The Tandoori chicken is nothing to write home about. The meat is a little dry and tough and the sauces were meh. The Naan was probably also the worst Ive had, so dry and crumbly. Prices were good, especially if you do their weekday deals but its really not good bang for your buck. Id rather go to Bamiyan or Afghan Grill House.

I spent more than usual amount for the fish that wasn’t even worth it at all. The restaurant only focused on staining the fish with the red dye for the appearance rather than focussing on the taste of the fish. The fish literally went to waste because it was impossible to eat it with such horrible taste and texture. Our mouth and hands were completely stained just by few bites of the fish. The fish didn’t even had pepper or salt. It tasted like sea water, absolutely disgusting and waste of money. This picture was taken the next day after multiple attempts of washing, shocking right.

This place is my one of the favourite. The girls who work in front are very nice, hard working and polite. I was standing in line and the person standing in front of me had a problem with their order. But the way girl working handle the problem was very good and at the end the customers was happy and appreciated the efforts of the staff. The food is also very good. The best things about this restaurant is that their have all what a customer look for when they wanna enjoy the time out with their friends or family. Must visit and try kabali rice too.

I bought fish from this location yesterday for $70, for 3 families. And we are all so disappointed by the quality of the fish. It was our first and last time here. There was so much red dye in the fish which left our hands and mouth stained and had a disgusting taste. None of us liked the fish. We’ve had much better fish before and for a lot cheaper. There was no flavour, it only tasted like weird sea water. They didn’t even bother to put salt and pepper on the fish. I will never eat here again because of what a waste of money it was. Don’t bother to waste your time and money in this restaurant!!

My favorite Afghan place. We live far from this restaurant but we try to come as often as possible. The service is great, the staff is so polite and nice. The place is very clean. The food is always fresh and it tastes delicious, portions are huge - one is usually enough for two people. Definitely going back again and again.

Ill be honest, I only came here because I was in a hurry and thought the food was going to suck. I was pleasantly surprised! You guys make the best white sauce Ive had so far. This condiment makes all the difference. Will be returning for sure!

Had the tandoori kofta dinner. The tandoori chicken had good flavor and the beef kofta was nice as well. Portion size is great tons of salad and rice to go with it. Naan could be a bit better, mine was pretty dry.

Ive had good meals, and sometimes its burnt to a crisp and a total waste of money.Food quality depends on whos cooking it seems.On my last 2 orders Ive wasted over $30 on burnt food from here. Im not willing to risk it anymore, and going forward will order from Watan Kebab instead.

Best place in missisauga to spend time with your friends. The half chicken dinner is great.

I recently ordered from here and had to wait over 1 hour for just 2 meals. The communication from the staff was poor, we were not told that they were experiencing delays in the kitchen. The owner just kept walking around the store, not wearing a mask (even around food prep area) and just talking to the employees. They continued to apologize for the delay and offered free drinks and sauce and I appreciated that but the food was burned and it was definitely not worth the wait.

I see this place everytime my daughter and I are in the area, but I didnt really want to go in because I didnt like the salty food when I went to Caravan in Brampton. Last night we decided to try this location because my daughter hasnt been to one. We ordered one plate just to try. Its a good thing we did because we wont be able to finish a whole serving. I can honestly say that were really impressed! The ambience is nice, the staff are smiling, the service is decent and the place is clean. We will definitely come back to this restaurant and will recommend it our friends and families (who are picky, by the way).

Love going to this place as they have great portions for reasonable price and actually the food taste good and fresh all the time. The naan that they serve are always super fresh and the best part of the meal . They are open till early mornings which is a plus.

My wife & I went here for lunch cause we were craving authentic afghan food and we were both blown away. First off the customer service excellent from beginning to end. The food was simply delicious used by fresh ingredients & lots of flavour. I got the chaplee kabob & my wife got the kofta kabob and both meats were super tender & juicy, rice was tasty & fresh and salad was great. The naan was very delicious as well. Ive been to Bamiyan kabob (which i thibk has really fell off over the years), ive been to Naan & Kabob & Kandahar kabob and im here to say Caravan Kabob House blows all these other restaurants out of the water. Definitely recommend Caravan over its competitors! Id rate it more than 5 🌟 s if i could!

An okay place if you want a late night snack (place is open till 4 am), but otherwise, the food is pretty ordinary, and the quantity of meat served is significantly lower than other afghan places around town.

We will definitely be back! My husband and I came here for lunch and really enjoyed our meal! We knew that our kids and parents would enjoy it too so we came back a week later. The sea bass platter, sultani dinner with beef tenderloin and kofta kabob, french fries, fresh naan, salad, burgers and rice....delicious! Spices and flavours were so good. Service was great! Ordered takeout, it was ready fairly quickly and the service was excellent.However, the pricing seemed a little high for the portion size, but the food itself was very good.

Really good food and the portions are plenty, however I will say that the service was pretty bad, but I wont take stars off because it was new years and they only had 2 servers working. In the picture, the dish looking bread is called bolani which is an Afghani appetizer and is a must try. Otherwise the dinners are also really good.

The chicken was succulent, the beef was delicious, rice was fragrant, zesty salad, crispy chewy bread. Best afgani food Ive had so far.

Hands down one of the best Kabob House in Mississauga , if you are looking for healthy food options at late night this is the place to be.We got stuck in Niagara and couldnt find anything open after 2 am ,since we were headed back to Mississauga tried our luck with this place, the staff was super nice over the phone, ordered 1 Chicken Chapli Dinner, 2 Chicken Tikka Diner, 1 Half Chicken Diner and One Grilled Salmon Dinner, Generous portions and amazing taste, and everything fresh..Plus the ferni is a must try..the fun part is we Dinned open air in the bed of Our Ford Truck...

Grilled chicken have too much colour... colour sticks completely in the hand after washed 3 times with the soap then imagine if you eat what will happen . Don’t knows how to prepare the food. Its refreshing to see a Afghan restaurant with table service and nice ambiance. The service was bit slow but the food is well worth the wait.I would highly recommend chai. Would definitely visit again.

I ordered a late take away dinner and was very specific with what I wanted! A beef kofta dinner and half chicken dinner. I got my order timely but after coming home 20 mins away only to find out that the kofta kababs are burnt coals and half chicken was just dried half burnt chicken tandoori dinners.I called the shop right as I saw the dinner was different and not at par quality. The person on the phone was probably new at work and did not know how customer service is done! They asked me to bring the food back that’s 20 mins away now and will replace my food and did not even apologize.DISAPPOINTED with the food and service for the first and last time I tried their food. Won’t come back.

Horrible customer service, I called in to make an order , went straight to voice mail 4 times. When do come i ordered my regular tandoori chicken dinner like i always do and did the day before but ended up getting a chicken breast dinner. The level on incompetence is crazy. Will never go back or recommend this place ever again…

So this is my second time i ordered from here and honestly the first time was great. However, yesterday I ordered a tandoori chicken dinner with the bone and was told it would take an hour. I waited for 1 hour in the parking and when I got home it was the breast pieces 😩. I called and spoke to the supervisor and she told me she would call me back in an hour and well that never happened. Will not be going back here I shall stick to watan and pamier. ✌

Such an awesome new halal grill and kebab restaurant in heartland...tried it today with the family and not only are the meals deliciously, but the portion sizes are very generous!! Will definitely recommend and be back again for round 2 :)

A few days back, I happen to visit Caravan Kabob House at its Mississauga location. This was my first visit here. I am very fond of Afghan cuisine and have tried many places around. This time I thought of giving that place a try. The first impression when I entered the place, was excellent. It is nicely decorated, neat and clean place. Then my next encounter with the staff to ask for recommendations and order my food. I found the staff to be very courteous and cooperative. Again another feather into the good image I have already got of place. Then came the food and it was superb. The food was very good and served in very reasonable size, presented excellently and priced affordably. The staff was courteous through out and all together, I enjoyed food, ambiance and customer service at Caravan Kabob House. I would, for sure, keep on visiting this place and will recommend it to my friends and all.

Food - 3.5Service - 3I got the tandoori plate. Food was average. The kabobs were a bit dry, salad was okay, and rice was warm enough. The naan was fresh (probably my favourite). Service staff was nice, but a bit on the slow side. I came in by myself and waited atleast 15 minutes before the server came to take my order. It wasnt busy when I came in (they were waiting one table). Atmosphere is warm. Place was clean. Decor is great. Would I come back again? Maybe. Id give it another try, but Ive definitely been to tastier places for kabob in Sauga.Edit: Lowering the service score. Ive been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for containers and my bill.

Visited on the second day of opening and was impressed at the quality and taste of food. Servers were extremely cooperative, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a restaurant Id recommend to others.

We ordered the max platter, side of lamb chops and a bolanni. I was amazed that the food was so fresh and warm when we opened it. The flavour and texture of the meat was great, it was juicy and well seasoned. I will definitely be ordering again!

Went there today on seconds day of opening. Great experience! Food was reasonably priced, great portions and treated delicious. Highlight of meal was service and ambiance. Staff are very courteous and made sure everything was provided. Seating and general ambiance is also very good, much better than you expect in a typical Afghan restaurant. Hope that you maintain consistent quality and service :)

Very under staffed one server handling front and take out orders we were a party of 30 and reserved our table in advance to make sure food is out and they brought it out 30 min late, did not place the food on our table we had to grab it from there hand . It was not the severs fault because she had a lot to handle by herself . Came out in a weird order , naan came out an hour after the actual entree.

Bought lamb shank rice and sultani kabab. Absolutely horrible. I dont have words. Lamb shank had excess amount of fat on it. Sultani kabab was raw and not cooked at all

Caravan in Mississauga was one of the most impressive finds for me. We arrived shortly after 2030 on a Friday night and the restaurant was still packed with families. The music and ambiance was right on point.I ordered the lamb Chopan Dinner for $13.99 🤩. Portions are massive, maybe even too big! 5 large pieces of lamb would normally go for $10 more. I’m not a stake and potato type of girl, but this was sooo good and I have a full size lunch for the next day! I wish I took more pics, but I’ll be back and will update.

It was very nice, the food was same like Pakistan , service was amazing, restuarant was very neat and clean, this was my first time there I like the food most.

We ordered after a very long time from Caravan and it was absolutely great. We will definitely start ordering more often.

Always amazing food. Went in two weeks ago to Heartland. Owner/manager was walking around without a mask on while the poor students working for him all wearing one. Wish owners/managers were more serious about COVID these days.

Portion sizes were good and the meat for my kofta kabab + naan were delicious. My friends got chicken kofta and they found the meat dry. I appreciated that table service was provided. However, the service was just terrible - the person who took our order couldn’t get it right, they were out of a meat option we wanted at 6PM, the food didn’t arrive at the same time for everyone (10 min delay), the naans didn’t arrive with the meal so we had to remind them, and top of it all, we waited 40 minutes (!!) to get our bill after having asked 3 times. This kind of stuff really ruins your experience, especially if the restaurant isn’t crowded. Disappointed with the overall experience.

Chapli and Kofta Kabob are 90% soy filler, did not taste like beef at all. Caravan used to have very delicious food, but just like other Afghan restaurants they have resorted to soy fillers. Please stop misleading your customers, would much rather pay a little more if it meant I’m getting real beef in the Kabob.

Over cooked dry chappli ... Absolute garbage. Never coming here .. took 1 hr for our food. And the order was wrong. You craving Afghan food goto other places near by like Watan and Afghan Cuisine but dont waste your money here ... Expensive for no reason

The service was excellent by Bree, even though she was the only server and it extremely busy Bree managed to give us our food in a timely manner, along with free desserts! Thank you Bree!

Asked for rice instead of salad ! And they ignored my request completely! Even extra sauces were not included!!!Edit : the order was made on uber eats for two meals .. they have put salad instead of the rice wven though I mentioned that I do not want salad and put rice instead of it cuz our family hates the coriander .. my daughter refused to eat as soon as she saw the coriander ! Delicious food and great customer service. The lamb shank and lamb ribs were lovely. This has such a lovely ambiance, and i am grad we have a great place to dine in Mississauga.
