Very very unresponsive. Nothing is fixed in a timely fashion, no one calls to follow up and you have to call multiple times to get anything done. Weeks each time our ac was out. Weeks to fix a shower handle and when the fridge broke they replaced it with a very small unit way less than the one we moved into. As far as I can see the positive reviews come from landlords which really is all that matters as the tenets are very clearly not a priority. Rent has been increased each year. 300 dollars usually. STAY AWAY.

I talked to the property manager Iris. She was a huge help to turn the property in the market and got a deal within a week. I have not been with the property company for long and so far they seem have done a good job. Two things I have noticed they are a little bit different from other places: 1) they would not share the tenant information with you, and 2) they have different people in charge of different areas vs. having one manager in charge of all areas around the property.

My husband and I rented a home in Gilbert from Mark Brower Properties for 3 years. As a former renter and landlord of my family home, Im extremely impressed by this company. We never had any issues with them, contacting them was super easy, and our move out extremely easy. We had issues with a neighbor and they were also very caring about solving that issue. As a renter, there were small headaches as they do home checks for very six months. That said, as a former landlord I thought this was great. They ensure you are taking care of the home. My family was massively screwed over by nightmare tenants, so when we eventually rent out our home in the future, we will 100% use this company. Also, we got nearly all of our deposit back so they arent shady in that way. Just take care of the home as if were truly yours and youll get you money back. 10/10 would recommend and I look forward to working with this company in the future.

Mark Brower is probably one of the most professional property management companies we have dealt with. They always respond quickly. We were supposed to move in 4/1/2020. But due to the pandemic they allowed us to move in a few weeks early. We really appreciated the accommodation doe to all of us being essential. There were a few issues that we had when we moved in and they were quick to respond and fix the issues.

We’ve been a client of Mark Brower Properties for several years. They are extremely helpful in guiding us through various aspects of owning a rental property. The areas we particularly like are their prompt communication, customer service, and thorough follow through. We appreciate their guidance and glad to have them as our property management company.

We’ve always lived in apartments, so we werent sure what to expect when renting a house. It’s been a great experience. When we had some bigger maintenance needs than we could handle, but weve never had to wait more than a few hours for a response to a maintenance request. They have a resident portal that allows us to pay our rent, submit a work order, view our documents, and communicate with them. I know the property is their first priority, so as renters, it’s nice to feel like they’re there to support us, as well.

I have been unemployed since March due to covid. My wifes business was shut down for a couple months as well. Even through all of this, we have paid our rent every month.In the beginning we were given permission to pay a few days late during our hardship. However, things have now changed. Since there is no executive order, they have lost all compassion. 1 day late.....$50. Then $10 per day thereafter. I can not recall a time we went more than 1 full week without making our payment. It just seems like it is there way to make an easy buck off our hardship.

Mark Brower Properties has managed my two rental properties for more than two years. They have been fantastic. They find quality tenants that have never missed a payment. Though great with service and getting work orders end. Mark Brower is a terrible management company. They took half my deposit over cleaning charges when I had cleaned the house top to bottom but can show no proof of the dirtiness they claim was still there in the garage and back patio. On top of that, one of their agents, Devin, worked with us when it came to approving paint colors. He said the colors we chose were great and that there should be no issues. He failed to send the colors to the owner for approval and I was charged for repainting the home when we had already asked for the okay to paint. He claimed “we will figure it out at the end of the lease” and they did, by charging me 430 for painting 2 rooms. Would not rent through Mark Brower.

Working with Mark and his team at Mark Brower Properties has been a wonderful experience. I was a homeowner in South Phoenix, and when I moved out of state, I tried to do the property management on my own. I had a disastrous experience and realized I needed to have a professional take care of this for me. I met with Mark at his office and knew immediately he was the right guy for me. Mark is very knowledgeable about real estate and is very analytical in his approach (hes a numbers guy to be sure). He quickly found good renters (they have their own applicant scoring system and it seemed very effective) and I had those renters for a year until their lease was up and I decided to list my home to sell. Mark was able to arrange all the repairs and other things to get my home ready to sell, and took fabulous pictures of my home which made it a very attractive listing, which netted me 3 offers in the first 24 hours. Mark helped me through the process, never being too busy to speak with me on the phone to discuss how the home sale was going, a Godsend to me as I am out of state and felt very far away from all of it. Every time there was a document or information I needed to sign or review, he and Sherry (who is also fabulous) promptly communicated with me by email. Their online system is also great, as you can see all the repairs, fees, documents, etc. all in one place, making everything very organized. I cannot say enough great things about Mark and his team, my home selling process took less than 1 month from listing to closing, and I always had peace of mind knowing my home was in good hands with him here in Arizona while I was out of state. I highly recommend using Mark to either rent or sell your home, you will be very glad you did.

It was very difficult to choose a company in the beginning, but Mark himself came out to my home and broke down all the ins and outs of renting out my home. Mark has been managing a couple of our rental properties for close to two years now. Our rental properties are in Salt Lake City, and even though he is in Arizona, he manages them as if they were his own. He takes care of problems immediately and professionally. He makes sure that the properties are being well maintained by the renters with frequent property inspections. Our renters are very happy with the quick response they get from him and his staff. Our renters have extended their rental contracts for at least another year. Honestly, I would not want anyone else managing our properties. Do NOT use unless you have a perfect credit score and perfect prior rental history. I am out $80 because the application company they use did not approve me even though I have a credit score of over 725 and have not missed or been late for a rental payment in the last 5 years.The $80 application is non-refundable regardless of why the application company they use denied you and do not really help you try and find out why or get the application fee back.Out of frustration I actually reached out to a mortgage broker and got approved for a 300k loan amount so I cannot rent from these guys but now I am going to go and buy my own house. Do not waste your money with these guys.

After doing my research on management companies around the valley it wasnt a hard decision to go with Mark. The entire staff is personable and very professional. We were first-timers in being landlords so we had a lot of reservations but Mark and his staff were great at answering our questions and I always felt like I was a priority. We moved out of state shortly after handing the keys over to Mark and I was very confident in his abilities. Mark Brower Properties manages a rental property we own and I have been very impressed with their attention to detail. More importantly, my tenants said working with them was a delight! I had a horrific experience with my previous property manager worthy of a spot in prime time drama. To keep it brief, I was lied to, our tenant left in a few months, and I was left scrambling to retain another tenant. Yes, not my former property manager, I was left to do the clean up work. Every time we needed something done, someones relative would pass away and there would be a dramatic story with intricate details. Every Single Time! In the end, nothing gets done, and we, the owners were left to clean up the mess. So you can imagine how pleased I was when I found Mark. He is professional, courteous, effective, responsive, and reliable. He does not fabricate excuses when an issue arises and no one dies when I work with him. Needless to say, it has been a great working relationship with Mark for the past year and we look forward to many more.

Mark Brower Properties has managed our rental home for about 4 years and has done a excellent job. They are responsive and professional in all aspects, starting with insuring our home is well maintained, to collecting rents, managing contractors and more. I would highly recommend them to anyone, renters and home owners alike.

After 2 and 1/2 years in the home the owner choose this company as the new property management. They took months to make repairs reported or they left untoched. They added fees to make rental payments. Their Staff is unwelcoming after multiple calls messages and emails they respond with condescending tones with what they would communicate with the owner. After a few months on month- month lease they pushed that we sign the lease which was completely different from the legal agreement from the 1st company adding additional fees and services we didnt agree with. Once we opted out of their lease we were asked to move out advising our deposits totaling $1500. Would be returned 21days after returning the keys to the property after 17 days we were contacted to advised we owed an additional $606.75 and theyd be keeping the deposit indicating we caused so much damage to the home the deposit had been eating through. Once the recuperation letter came in they had added so many false charges as damage we made to the property also adding in things they state we took from the property which where never part of the home. Such as stoppers, blinds ,towel racks, shelves and the broken fixture which we have photos from move in showing already damaged.

We have had Mark Brower Properties manage our rental for 4 years, and they have been consistently professional and prompt in all their services.

As potential renters, we were very unhappy with this company. We were told different stories by the people working for this company, and felt they were outright dishonest. We were told on multiple occasions that a property we were interested in was ours, and no other people had applied to a property we were interested in. Curiously, as soon as the staff received our earnest funds check, suddenly another application was on file. On top of that, once they had our earnest funds money, the communication from the company slowed and we felt very uncomfortable with how they worked and responded with us. Overall, we felt the people working for this company changed their stories often to suit their needs at the expense of prospective renters.

I hate to pay to pay rent or any other services ....additionally none of the repairs Ive shared since theyve taken over the property have been fixed...also their quick to request payment and tell you how to manage your property with out actually managing anything

What they rented my home for was a fraction of what they said they could get. The tenant was horrible and abused the property. I returned to find animal feces throughout the home. We received repeated notices from our association about weeds and trash out front. Our neighbors said the renters completely neglected the place, one neighbor said she came over and picked up debris, old newspapers, etc multiple times over the year.

Awful policies, unwelcoming staff, poor experience in application process, will not be recommending them to any friends in the future
