I have been getting delicious Indian food from Everest for 6 years. I have 2 boys who like eating Indian food but cant quite handle to much spice, the team at Everest always cater to their spice needs 😊 tonight we ordered our meals and the amazing lady at the front added in some amazzing pickles Lemon just awesome Thank you so much 😊😊😊

Delicious vegetarian options. Quick to prepare with mild, medium and spicy options. Highly recommend.

Very friendly service, excellent food and great ambience. The staff were polite and assisted with choosing items on the menu according to my preferences. I would recommend their samosas, tandoor appetizers and mango lassi. The restaurant vibe was very warm and cozy. They have a lovely bar with exceptional wines and beers—the best Indian restaurant in this area.

Just tried to ring them and check if my order went through their system in the uber eats (as I tried placing order via app and my order placement was not shown). Rude and Zero level customer service as they just hung up the phone without any explanation. Will never order from them anymore

Not really a good place to eat nice indian food. Ordered tandoori platter 2 times both times have to chuck it in the bin..

The service here is terrible.Despite being one of three tables for the entire night, it took the waitstaff over 30 minutes to take our orders and when they did finally get to our table they left halfway through taking out orders to greet someone at the door.We ordered entrees and mains and it took an hour for them to come out. When they did, they were bland and barely even warm. The curry I ordered had hot vegetables while the curry itself was cold, clearly the curry was probably cooked from frozen, and the vegetables were added later. When we asked for the bill the waitstaff left our table again saying they would be 2 minutes, we waited 15 before going to the register to pay, even then we barely had their attention.This was easily the worst hospitality service Ive experienced, as someone who has worked in the industry for 15 years Id be horrified if my place of work had service this appalling.

Not willing to suggest this restaurant, the taste is really bad,and the staff as well made me wait for 30 mins for a single order and impolite service.

The price range is expensive but the food is to die for!!! I love the naan and how the curry is cooked. Its also good to have a bar in the restaurant so I could order a drink or two. The staff knows how to control the level of spice. Most Indian restaurants serve food that are too spicy for my liking but this restaurant is phenomenal.

Quite enjoy the good food from Everest Indian restaurant, they have a great range and very kind staff. If youre in the area and your in the mood for done delicious Indian food, do yourself a favour and place an order and settle in for a journey to flavour town.

Super yummy vegetarian food! Everything we’ve tried is delicious. And the take-away service was fast, good value and friendly. Highly recommend the mushroom dish and the potato samosas !!!!!

We had a lovely time at this place. The Welcome was warm, the service very efficient, and the food was delicious. We ordered Veg Pakoras, Okra, Malai Kofta, Roti, Paratha and Raita, and papadums were complimentary. The whole experience was quite exquisite :)

Best Indian around

Umm if you made your wine bar a little bit more hip maybe more people would go there. It’s a good idea, drinking certain wines with Indian food, it can be a good match, especially white wine or sparkling but it doesn’t seem that popular in that wine bar. If you advertise you have some groovy wines to match your food and make a bit more effort on the wine side of things you might do well.

Really good food! I ordered a range of meals for delivery and everything was delicious. The tandoori chicken was tender and flavoursome, they make proper onion bhajis (only ones Ive found in Melbourne), the biryani was perfectly spiced and I suspect the gulab jamun is homemade. More garlic on the garlic naan required but I probably want more garlic than most people!

Really nice food and good service. Definitely better quality food than the average restaurant. Best Indian I have tried in the area. Frankly dont understand the low rating - and I am picky! The one downside... 3 dollars or so more expensive to dine in....

This place is amazing. Me and my friends are here at least twice a week. Cheap cocktails! Japanese slipper is my favorite. Butter chicken is fabulous and the staff are the best people youll ever meet. A great family owned and run business. I strongly recommend it.

Nice combo of Indian restaurant and winebar... just needed some good chill music, to cap off a nice venue....Also its actually in Fairfield.

One can never get anything wrong if you stick to the naan and Tikka masala or butter chicken combo. Nonetheless if you want to try and expand your experience you can try their other dishes that are underrated generally yet tastes equally good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Everest Indian Restaurant here at Melbourne. We were last here on the evening of my friends birthday a few days ago & we had a wonderful meal then. The food was excellent, we enjoyed it all, but what topped everything was the the perfect service, helpful and pleasant. We were really pleased with our choice & plan to be back soon without being intrusive.

Me and the boys had a great catch-up in a great environment. The food had an amazing balance of spices and flavoursThe service was so helpful and understanding of our special needs one of us being a vegan.Thanks again we will be back

Friendly staff, delicious curry and lovely atmosphere

Best Indian restaurant we have found in Melbourne (been living here for 2 years). We had the Chicken Tikka Masala (CTM) and Butter Chicken (BC) with Garlic Naan and Rice. The BC is on the sweeter side but the CTM is perfectly spiced.

My friends and I had a lovely dinner here at Everest Indian Restaurant. We ordered some Mushrooms and drinks, we really enjoyed it. Food was awesome. Overall nice place to enjoy Indian food with family & friends. We loved our stay here.

Have been getting food from Everest for the past 20 years.The food changes with the different chefs they have had (always good), and the last few times Ive ordered from Everest the food was amazing.Not the most cost effective option, but definitely worth it.

We decided to go because hey we should try everything in the neighborhood. The restaurant is always empty and this should have been a sufficient warning. Tandoori chicken was bone dry and the smoked eggplant curry incredibly sweet. Stomach is playing up the day after. So will skip this one in future .

Great experience, food was AWESOME, the chicken jalfrezi specifically! The service was also great, all staff very friendly and attentive. Overall ideal experience, cant fault and will be definitely be returning - new local fave!

Its a cosy little Indian restaurant, quiet with really good staff. They make you feel at home and the food is one of the best around.Perfect for a birthday dinner with friends as they have also a cool little bar area for drinks.Its around 10 mins walk from the train station. Wheres also plenty of parking on the side.

Spent $60 on food to have it arrive stone cold and tiny portions too. This included both prawns and fish which are a real safety hazard when it comes to not being heated and cooked correctly. Really disappointing and I would recommend choosing from many of the other far nicer Indian restaurants in and around Melbourne.

You should name your biriyani from Hyderabadid biriyani to coloured rice in rosewater

Food are always cooked to perfection. They have put a lot of attention in getting a balance taste with the spices which is what makes their dishes stand out from the rest of the Indian food I have tasted.

We ate from here last Wednesday and my son has been sick for three days constantly throwing up and my daughter (whos just finished treatment for Leukemia) had an infection from rice (growen from blood cultures) had to have surgery today to remove her infected port - our days in Royal childrens - hope you saved a couple of dollars serving up old rotten foodYou are a disgrace! I will be calling the health inspectors on Tuesday

My family and I have eaten here quite a few times, with the most recent being just prior to christmas. Each time we have come here we have always had excellent food, with great service and fantastic staff. The restaurant is nicely decorated and features a quiet little wine bar off to the side if you want a quiet drink before dinner. Located close to Fairfield station Everest restaurant is definitely worth a visit and I will be certainly coming back with my family

Fabulous food and lovely accommodating staff. we ate butter chicken which was amazing, taka dal which was a fantastic vegetarian option and a delicious lamb dish. I highly recommend this as a family friendly restaurant.

I absolutely love Indian cuisine and I have indulged my taste for it at quite a few restaurants but, in my honest opinion, the very best Indian restaurant I have ever been to is, without a doubt, Everest in Station Street, Fairfield, and I have no hesitation whatsoever in giving this most excellent establishment my highest recommendation. I had the great pleasure of dining there earlier this evening and I found the food to be nothing short of superlative in every respect, as was the outstanding service I received, and I could not have asked for better in either regard.

Booked a table to celebrate our dear friend getting married and it was honestly such a mistake. The waiter was nice but the old guy (Im not sure if he was the owner) was very very rude an soooo obnoxious an patronising. The food was less then average and the service was by far THE worst. I wish I could give it NO STARS AT ALL!!!!... wouldnt go back here if they paid me to come back, it was getting close to closing time so I feel like they were trying to get us out as quick as possible, but we did call them before hand to ask of we could still have a table to which they said no problem -but it obviously was, cause it we did not feel welcome at all... even when we were ordering (the old man) was so rude, and was so impatient.... kept telling us well our customers are 95% white and they like to take around 2 hours for their meals where as Indians just want to eat an drink be out in 30-45mins.... just order your entrees an mains together an bring it out all at once..... like what the heck? Anyways...... #NEXT! Never going back there again... #boooooservice!!!!!..... #worstservice!!!!...

Excellent food , great service and would highly recommended going

Although the main meals were absolutely lovely, the entrees were average at best and it took an hour from ordering for the first entree to come out. They then did not send out the entrees all in one go. From the first entree 15 minutes went past before our third entree came out. We had 4 entrees ordered for a table of 7. The excuse was that the food was fresh ans therefor took longer to cook. Freshness should not enter into the time convocation. Although the main meals where very nice, you can get the meals at the same price via uber eats. We saw at least 15 uber eats orders go past us whilst waiting for our entrees. My advice get the butter chicken with rice and naan via uber eats. Beautiful dinner for 2 at home!!

I bought a Chicken Briyani, it was so aweful!Cooking Briyani is an art, i would never suggest these “rices” to anyone.To be honest that was like a gravy rice!No good at all 😞☹️☹️

Very nice Indian restaurant, very flavourful dishes and a nice atmosphere. Had chicken, fish and lamb curry all excellent with nice naan bread.

The only thing worth eating was the garlic nann. Both curries we ordered were mainly sauce, watery, bland and full of sugar. The dumpling curry had 2 dumplings in it. We felt very ripped off, you can’t charge $13-15 for sauce. Overall very disappointing.

My experiences at Everest Indian restaurant have been very enjoyable. Plenty of unique vegetarian meals that are always full of flavour. My favourites are the Paneer Kadhai Wala vegetarian delight with garlic Naan. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Favourite Indian Restaurant in Melbourne. We love this restaurant and have been going here for last 8 years! Our favourite dishes are the Chicken vindaloo, Tarka Dal - and the garlic naan is amazing! This is my second time exploring everest & after two very enjoyable evenings I felt inspired to review my first restaurant. The staff are more than accommodating, the food delicious & I leave under a cloud of happiness. Anil Kumble has also dined here, I like to think I am sitting at the same table.

Progressively unpalatable meals, over the last occasions. Ordered lamb briyani and chicken tikka. The chicken was unpalatable, it was that bad that we couldnt stomach one mouthful. Lamb briyani was awful and in need of flavour and salt. A waste of $33.
