I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Kumar to anyone. His gentleness, kindness, and compassion were striking and stood out immediately. He does not make you feel rushed and is happy to explain and answer any question you may have in a way that does not make you feel silly for asking. His office staff are highly competent and helpful and very good at what they do. They run a very well oiled machine. I will happily continue to see Dr. Kumar for my rheumatology care.

Very pleased with his care. He is intelligent, knowledgeable and detail oriented. I also like that every-time I get called with in a few minutes of checking-in. I have a complicated medical history and Dr. Kumar has done a fantastic job! Would highly recommend.

Dr. Kumar is kind, thorough, and is not rushed. He goes over all test results and encourages questions or concerns. He is not only competent but also has a great bedside manner. Having worked in health care field, I can say that he is very ethical. He provides benefits and risks of all treatment options and would let you know if treatment is not necessary. I have been pleased with the quality of care he provides. I would also like to add that his staff is awesome, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Kumar to anyone. I am fortunate to have finally found a good doctor.

Dr. Kumar has helped me the most out of all the doctors i have seen. I know some of my friends who see Dr Kumar and they all like him too. He is very honest and straightforward. Explained my condition and treatment plan in detail. I am given the opportunity to ask questions every time. Always spends time and very thorough. I highly recommend him.

Dr kumar is an outstanding doctor. We moved to the area and was worried about finding a new rheumatologist. My rheumatologist up in north was excellent and I feel that dr Kumar is even better. He is very thorough, attentive, focused and kind. He looks deep to figure out and explains. He has helped me tremendously.

I have been a patient of Dr Kumars since his office opened in Viera in 2018. He always takes time to listen to my concerns and discuss all the issues going on when I see him. He coordinates with my other doctors offices and keeps them well informed. The pain level and inflammation problems have significantly improved since I started seeing him.

Paid $50. Copay. He saw me for 6 minutes and refused to look at my most current lab for 2019 .He said that looking at my 2017 lab nothing was wrong other than he thinks i have fibromyalgia. I actually have diabetes, thyroid and mast cell issues and he said my labs showed no signs of auto immune disease which i have 3 of. Of course his old work parner is still mad because i asked to see Dr Kumar as a second opinion but he didnt give me one at all ...he mimicked the report from 2017. I dont think fair and for 6 minutes i didnt even get my 50 bucks worth let alone what my insurance paid. People have to fight back docors like this and let insurance companys know whats going on!!! I was charged for a service i did not even receive and so was my insurance. I am extremely sick and he did not even try to help. I was just a ching ching number :(

I don’t believe he has very extensive knowledge that my previous doctor had. She had been treating me for RA and Fibromyalgia for 6 years. He said that he didn’t think that she was treating me for RA. That it was just Fibromyalgia. He also went to leave and I asked him if he even looked at my x-rays. He had not. Why even do x-rays if you aren’t going to look at them?I love health first as they have always provided wonderful doctors, but I think they missed up with him. I plan on seeing another Rheumatologist. I know the difference between Fibro pain and arthritis pain. There is definitely some Fibro pain there. But why do the bones in my feet and hands hurt so bad? Fibro pain is NOT in the bones! I’ve had it since I was 24. I am 44 now. I’m pretty sure I can tell the difference now. I am not happy with Dr. Kumar. He is nice, but he lacks knowledge. He also listed I had Somatization disorder. I have been seeing doctors for 20 years for my what I have. Documented labs, and office notes from several doctors about the extent of the issues. And he comes in and says that he thinks they are all wrong and it’s simply Fibromyalgia. It seems to be his favorite diagnosis. He barely even offered me anything for it. I’m not looking for pain meds. I’m just looking for something to help control the disease so it relieves the pain. After probing for something. He gave me something I had been on in the past. But, I didn’t like his attitude about giving it to me. It is similar to methotrexate, which I have been on since 2004. But, he still tried to say that he didn’t think my doctor gave it to me for RA. That it was for Fibromyalgia, even though I had showed him positive labs from her and office notes from her. I’m just not going back to him.

Dr. Kumar DENIED my referral to see him. When I asked if there was something missing from the referral, the office staff said no, he just doesnt think its something he can treat right now. Are you kidding me? I have been seeing a rheumatologist since 2012 and need a new one close to my new house. I am in shock that a doctor would REFUSE to see a patient that is in need. Not sure why you went into the medical field to help patients if youre refusing them.
