The temple is closed from 12 pm to 4 pm so plan your visit accordingly. There is free parking available near temple if you are entering from Delhi Mathura highway. There are good restaurants in front of temple. No mobiles are allowed in. The temple is neat and clean and not crowded nowadays. Mask is compulsory.

Mathura and Vrindavan are the birth place and childhood ground of The Lord Krishna. The feelings cannot be put in words, While going through the birthplace of lord Krishna, at the Kans mamas Jail. The excellently well maintained place. While the scenario gets changed in totality, when we are visiting the childhood ground of the lord Krishna. We do also, became child, while listening & going through the various places at Vridavan and became one of the members of The Lord Krishnas team. The livelihood of the some of the places, must to be experienced. One can come across the infinite stories of The Lord Krishna, as told by the local peoples and devotees. The loving, friendly, & helping nature of The Lord Krishna can fully experienced here. There are numerous temples of The Lord Krishna in the Vrindavan. Some of the places do have some mysterious stories also, which one have to hear at the place itself, to experience the thrills within there.

Due to security reasons cannot share the inside view of the place- Janmashtami or the jail. The jail experience was very ancient. As if the ancient Workers have created the place with such exclusively that it remains unbroken physically as well as secretively. The only issue was the law and order system. People visiting this place becomes mad when comes with doing necessary disciplinary security raw and lines while entering. If you have your sister, wise or mother, be cautious- some notorious MF might just abuse them physically. I can share my experience, where we caught one UP guy who was trying some abuse and had to really slap/punch him and was about to throw to police, he asked mercy and hence left him. The police and people here will help you very negligibly and shows some other way than the original. Be informed and then go if you are planning. I went during the Janmashtami, the authority there didnt let enter the occasion of dahi handi breaking place- too much people and space was less. Atleast 2+ Cr people was there and arrangments were for lakhs. Need better security, clock rooms(private ones looted us per item 10₹), shoe room and local authorities for grievance. Cant complaint much about Radhe, he will see to it I kno.

According to Hindu traditions, Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva in a prison cell where they were confined by his maternal uncle Kansa, a king of Mathura, due to prophecy of his death by the child of Devaki.According to tradition, a temple dedicated to Krishna was built the birthplace by his great grandson Vajranabh. The present site known as Krishna Janmasthan (lit. birthplace of Krishna) was known as Katra (lit. market place) Keshavdeva. The archeological excavations of the site had revealed pottery and terracotta from 6th century BC. It also produced some Jainsculptures as well as a large Buddhistcomplex including Yasha Vihara, a monastery, belonging to Gupta period (c. 400). In 1018, Mahmud of Ghazni attacked and plundered Mahaban. Ghaznis scribe, though not accompanying him on the expedition, Al Utbi describes in his Tarikh-i-Yamini neighbouring holy town which is identified as Mathura.

Seeing the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Acharya was impressed by how much Hindu religious places were affected during the tenure of the Mughal Emperor?A thorough study, analysis andThere is a need to reflect and review. And the wrongdoings of these foreign rulers should also be taught in the history taught in various classes.orWithdrawing the Mughal periodThe history of Indian culture and religious places and the attacks and changes on them should be given place. So that children can also know which ruler was good for Indian society and which was bad?stillRadhe - Radhe
