Fresh & outstanding sweets is something you get here. Things to take home: Bebinca, Doce, Pinag, Bolinhas, Ribbon cakeEverything out here is outstanding and the store is closed between 1pm to 3pm. So plan your visit accordingly to avoid being disappointed as the store is closed in the afternoon.

The products available at this bakery are absolutely fresh, savoury and delicious.... yummmmyyyyy.... The sweets sells out immediately so - a tip: if you have a large order, please book it in advance. And during this time (corona pandemic) since the shops have reopened after the lockdown - Pascoal is only open in the morning from 8.30am until 1.30pm, and is closed in the evening. Coming to their service - the ladies handling the counter may seem rude, however you should hand it to them as they handle the crowds during peak times pretty well. Although, i must add that a sweet smile does go a ling way. Having said that, i am a huge fan of their sweets, so i am willing to overlook this little bit. Just go ahead and enjoy their savouries. 😃

Dont care if the owner lady is rude or not, spent max 10 mins there. The variety of eatables are awesome, and to the freshest possible. Got Bibingka cake and many things. Packaged spices are awesome.

Great selection of Goan sweets and was highly recommended to visit. The sweets were fresh. Would most certainly visit again. Pascoal Bakery is located inside Mapusa Market just near the bread market.

The only reason to visit this shop is because of the sweets , else the ladies running the shop need to undergo some serious customer service skills they simply dont know how to speak to people . They dont even spare kids these ladies have a serious attitude problem.

The attitude of the two females working there is so bad that even after I politely placed my order, one of the staff was very rude. I had to simply walk away because patronising such business owners, I would consider it an unforgivable sin.They were dealing in such a way as if they were doing me a favour while on the contrary is true. Me being in Customer Service Industry for over 20 years, theirs is the worst service I would have seen in my entire professional life. Never recommend that place to anyone if you want to be treated well. I could easily buy the same stuff from elsewhere rather than facing these two women.

We found this bakery in the heart of Mapusa market, and were delighted to see the amazing variety of traditional Goan sweets they have. Bought some Bolinhas, fresh and super tasty. The only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the bad attitude of the females at the shop. They definitely need to learn to be more polite to the customers.
