This is a very nice property in Manali. Although its on a height but its worth it. Cuz that gives it a most beautiful view from balcony. Its a quite big property , food is very tasty.Rooms are nice, try to take the top floor room with balcony facing towards the valley. You will love it.They can work upon the Wahsroom area, Could be a bit cleaner and should provide the basic things.Else nice property to stay.

For a budget traveler this place is heaven, belive me you will not going to regret on your decision .

Im giving 2 stars only because of spacious rooms, a great common area with sofa and dining table and a nice balcony with amazing views and rocking chairs.Rest was awful. The staff was unhygienic and lazy. Room service was non-existent. Every food order took 1.5-2 hours on an average and breakfast started at 11. Once you saw the kitchen, you wouldnt want to eat again. Delays due to staff shortage are understandable but hygiene standards are something you dont compromise on, specially in these times.My last visit here a few years ago was excellent but based on this experience, I wouldnt recommend this place.

Beautiful, peace and quiet nest located in greeny Himalayan mountain region.From the balcony, you can watch the morning and evening sun coming over the mountains, while listening the steady sound of flowing waterwaves from the nearby river.Rooms are equipped with one king-size bed, TV, towels, coffee table for two guests, electric kettle and attached bathroom and balcony.

It was an okayish stay. Room was not ready as per expectations. Also, hotels location is far away from main Manali. The only good thing we found is food which was comparatively cheap and tasty.Average stay...

This was my first trip to Manali with my wife and Pause at Manali made sure that it was worth remembering for lifetime. Superb view with cozy bedrooms and host was courteous and helped us with local sight seeing. Food was tasty and very home like. Certainly gonna visit this place again in future.

I went to this hotel in the first week of January and due to heavy bookings I need to somehow manage that night in that hotel. The service was very poor as whatever I used to ask them for they were just imposing their senseless rules and due to those restrictions I found that I’m in a school, the experience was so bad, the owner was so loud and abusive during the night time as me and my friends were just laughing and enjoying our trip but he just ruined our night and recommend all of you not to visit this bad property. Although property is nice but If the staff and owners are bad there is no point in staying and enjoying that place.

Everything about this place is amazing. From the surreal views to the peaceful apple orchids, the place is an ideal stay if you want to WFH/relax away from the hustle bustle of the town. The food is delicious, the host is superb, rooms are spacious and well designed. There is also a walking route right beside Pause that would take you all the way down to Mall Rod in like 15 mins with amazing views all throughout.

Calm and comfortable place away from busy and noisy town. Recommend the room with balcony which gives excellent view of the city. Great service!!!

This hotel is worst for people coming to enjoy manali to the fullest every other thing is restricted and even the leisures you want from it will be banned.They will annoy you for each and every thing , not to laugh , drink, smoke, or eat anything in the room and even want the room to be clean.Basically they charge you quite good but according to their behaviour this place is not good even for free.Staffs behaviour is also very rude and owner can shout and abuse anytime of the day.Waste of money and ruined our trip by constantly ruining our mood.

It has the best view of Manali from hotel. The food, the rooms, the view and the host was best. The host Jiten is very kind and helping. He made sure that our stay will be worth remembering.Will be visiting the same place again when in Manali.

I stayed in pause at Manali for about 5 days. Such a peaceful place away from main city. You can even trek upwards to see snow of about 12km and also a hidden waterfall. Apart from this the property is very beautiful,the owner is helpful also helps in providing taxi. The food is also awesome here. Most importantly they also decoorated room with baloons on my friends bday for free. So great of them.

One of the best hotels in Manali. This hotel is located on hill and having view of Hampta Pick from the room window. The room arrangement is quite good with good wooden look furniture. The food is excellent in comparison to other restaurants. The hotel staff are quite helpful. There is an enough space for parking and sleeping arrangement for drivers within the premises. There are many apple trees on the entrance of the hotel which adds natural elements and beauty in the rainy season.

Not good overall service or customer friendly.Charging for room heater, which should be a mandatory (its like if u visit Rajasthan and the hotels start charging for A.C.), not acceptable at all. Lack of interaction with visitors I.e. lacking basic courtesy.Overall ok hotel. A large number of good hotels available in the Manali. Infact its a city of hotels only.

We went there to celebrate our New years eve and we had a wonderful experience. Super clean hotel and view from there was breathtaking. The host, Ajay Dhaiya is a great man, full of life and will treat you like a friend. In the evening, we were offered free drinks, snacks, music, cake, bornfire at the garden area. Staff is very soft spoken. Would love to visit back again.

Quiet location on a hill with very good view. Market is 3-4km away and that is plus point for people who like peaceful stay. Sunrise is beautiful in the morning.

Pleasant stay on the height. Its 2 km from the town on the mountain with amazing view. Price is also affordable.

Had a great stay here. Great view if the himalayas. Good food. There is a trek down to the mall Road via the nasogi village. The only issue was the geyser. It was not working properly and had very less water flow. Apart from that I had an awesome stay.

Hotel view is awesome, you would like to pause here once you see the hotel location.Giving 1 star less is because of Hotel Managers behavior, he didnt treat well with my friends when we entered initially.We booked 6 family rooms but we didnt get in same block, our 2 booked room had given to others.His staff behavior is very good, all of my friends liked his attitude. Because of that person giving one more 🌟 otherwise I would have given 3 🌟.So Overall experience i can say is AWESOME.

A really really good place if you are visiting manali. The rooms are really good with good interior. The view that can be seem out of the window is eye catching. Staff and the food is far more better. Ajay the manager is very helpful and we cant ask for more. We visited the manali as foreign group and the help and support given by him is commendable.

Honestly, I wasnt expecting this place to be as good as it is. Surprise, surprise!! Perched on top of the hill, this place has all the things that one would want to come to Manali for. Cosy rooms and amazing views from its windows. 😍 This place is very well maintained and the staff here is very good. Their kitchen offers some decent food, nothing fancy though. Located in a bit far off location ( kanyal road ) , around 5-6 km from Mall road square, on a completely different hill. Good view, only accessible by car though, clean and friendly staff, though food is available only for limited hours. Good for laid back travellers

We booked Pause via AirBnb. Its an excellent place for vacation in Manali. Its located on the top of a hill and comes packed with excellent view all around. Food is home cooked quality and highly recommend this place for your next family vacation outing.4-star instead of 5-star because they charged us INR 300/- per heater per day (never mentioned anywhere online while booking the hotel).This was unexpected as heaters are expected and necessity when you are in a hilly region surrounded by snow. Quite disappointed with this behaviour. Neither was this mentioned on their AirBnb page. We booked 4 rooms with small children and heaters alone costed us ~INR 3500/- for a 3-day trip.

A good place to stay in Manali on budget with spacious rooms, decent amenities and good service. Also the large balconies allow you to sit in the sun while you enjoy the view of the valley and mountains or just read a book.

This is a hidden gem in Manali. Too bad I couldnt find it in my earlier visits.Location: 5/5 - Calm and serene.Ambience: 5/5 - extensive wooden work.Room: Spacious and clean. View from Pause is simply magical. Food and service is decent. Also it was great value for money for us as it was slow season I guess.

Stay was really good. You can have the feel of village outside the cottage if you love traditional villages. We went to mall road via village only and it was great fun. You can experience scenic beauty from cottage. Staff was really good. Loved the interior of the cottage.

Situated on a peaceful Hill, with breathtaking views and food to die for. Do try enjoying your breakfast in the lawn and their home made chicken curry. The khichdi is a must as well if you want to end your day with something light. Rooms are good with great views from your balcony and your bed (if you chose the room on the east side). Overall a pleasant stay, we were there for 7 days in June 2016.

Away from the crowded area with stunning views of the valley. The staff is nice and food homely. A good stay option overall for people who wish to rejuvenate on a Manali vacation. Also pocket friendly :)

This is an excellent place a bit outside of the busy touristic downtown area (I would even say it was the best place I stayed during my 4 weeks in India) ! The wood-covered rooms are really nice & spacious. There is a hughe veranda which is covered by the morning sun. It was such a great experience to be there in the morning, drinking a cup of hot masala tea and looking at the snow covered peaks at the other side of the valley.The staff is also very kind & helpfull. The place is run by Manu - who is a great cook by the way ao the food is delicious (I was very lucky that he offered me a glimpse into his kitchen; as being a German and thus not very deep into Indian cooking, I learned a lot from Manu! Thank you so much!). When we stayed there, the co-manager Rohit and his wive from Delhi have been there as well. All of them are very warm people and treated us as familiy and even celebrated Divali with us.

Very good value for money. It has got good view of snow clad mountains. Travel tips. 1. Reaching this place by bus not possible either Taxi or own vehicle. 2. Book rooms on 1st or 2nd floor preferably 2nd which has got private balcony

A property with a great view. Only downside could be the distance from mall road. You definitely need a cab to reach destination.. however the hotelier can help you in all the aspects. big thumbs up to hotelier .

A gem hidden in Manali. Pause is a delight to its occupants with panoramic views. The surroundings are green with apple trees around. The clouds come right next to you. I had a very good time out there :)

View is awesome off course. If you are planning to stay here stock up enough food before sunset as the Kanyal Road is poorly constructed and in the night it has less visibility. Hotel has friendly staff and their vegetarian food is nice. Overall a nice and cozy place which is also romantic.
