Thought we would try somewhere new and for a first time out at a fine dining restaurant we were pretty impressed with how we were treated by the staff. They were very friendly and ensured that we were enjoying our evening.Food arrived promptly and looked excellent. Presented really well and tasted just as good as it looked. Very filling. Special thanks to Mohammed for making it a great experience and the complementary snacks. Will definitely be returning in the future.
Amazing, sumptuous, quality food.. Great portions which settles nicely. The owner & chef has a great understanding about ingredients and culinary fusion. Such a wonderful selection of dishes. Each one exquisite. Saam caters for you individually too, we felt more like guests than customers. He has such passion and drive. AMAZING.Brilliant. Highly recommended. A must.
I celebrated my birthday with my family at Indian Bonsai and then again for a girls night out. Service was exceptional👍. Very personalised service. The owner Saam was welcoming and extremely passionate about the food he serves . We tried a selection of dishes, each one better than the last. The chicken and meat dishes were cooked perfectly. Everything was served fresh and hot. Decor is beautiful! My family and friends enjoyed the food and now its definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Luton🤩
So glad we made the random stopover back to London from Woburn safari at this place! We werent expecting too much but the fusion food was sooo tasty and we were impressed! On top they were so hospitable and service was on point. Id definitely recommend!! Do give Indian Bonsai a try!We had Chuckling Chow Mein (chicken) hot, tarka dall, naan bread, lick your plate in loess, Bahar Murgh Silsila and prawn crackers with assorted dips. Each dish had its unique taste! My favourite had to be lick your plate in loess. They even have non alcoholic sparkling juice drink which was a nice touch to the end of the evening on the house!
Finally managed to try it for the first time today after seeing it getting built earlier this year and the food was delicious especially the unique mocktails and their names as well, they even gave me complimentary sweets as well and although the prices are slightly on the higher side but nevertheless the food is still good for a special treat and if you like this type of cuisine then I highly recommend this restaurant to you, the staff are also very friendly, polite and welcoming and made me feel happy and welcome and service was excellent as well.
We originally planned to dine in but as everyone is unwell, we decided to order in. What. A. Feast! Ordered the Meal for 4 and added a mixed grill. The portion sizes were generous and tasted great! The butter chicken was a little on the sweet side for my liking but some of the dishes had a decent kick. If this is the quality of the take out then cant wait to dine in next time 👏
Enjoyed eating here a lot,Very nice food and very good service. The manager saam was very friendly and welcoming.
Our favourite indian food restaurant in town. It s always a nice atmosphere in there. Saam and his team are very friendly and always adjusted the food to our taste. The food is sooo delicious!
Excellent food and service. Amazing decor & good value for money. I highly recommend and will be back for more again soon.
First time trying and it didnt disappoint! Amazing food, different to your standard restaurants - each dish has a unique taste. They can cater to any spice so if you like your food spicy this is the place! Just to top it all off the customer service is second to none. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
Over priced and a very poor attempt at fusion food; £10 for a small plate of veg noodles covered in bottle sauce. The stir fried veg had no black bean sauce and contained potatoes!? The vegan dhaal had a little bit of ghee in it, is that okay? . I could also taste butter in the rice which was meant to be for a vegan. The food took far too long to cook and was not worth the wait.I could not recommend this place for vegans, vegetarians, any one with an allergy or anyone wanting Indo Chinese food. The bog standard Bengali Indian meat looked good. It was all still way overpriced.Hakka land or indeed any of the Indian restaurants in Harrow that serve Indo Chinese put this place to shame.
I found this gem at end of April and have been ordering from them since. The food is amazing and staff so friendly especially Saami. Would highly recommend you try them out.
Absolutely amazing! Customer service was 10/10 and food was exceptional! London has truly come to Luton, exactly what the town needed! Well recommended to dine in for a fine dinning experience with loved ones. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.
Is there a zero star option???😡This restaurant was terrible the water was £8!!so expensive!!!! they have dirty water issue this could cause more covid-19 cases this is outrageous. It shouldn’t be this expensive for water, also other items were extortionate prices. Small portions and not great tasting either. The service was terrible. The staff were rude and not very helpful.Save your money and go somewhere better!!!
The best service Ive ever received from a takeaway service. The manager himself delivered my food. He was friendly and respectful and updated menon the service as restrictions are lifted. The food tasted amazing, was nice and warm and delivered on time. I only wish I got his name so I could thank him personally. I cant wait to visit the restaurant when it reopens and would recommend their delivery service to anyone! Thanks for feeding me guys!
Food was not all that maybe one off but wont try again. Attention to detail lacking especially when you go out with kids and have to ask for the chips to be served several times. No tap water fair enough shouldnt be asking for that in a high end restaurant - but we did and were told the water is not clean enough to drink but clearly the chap was filling the bottles from a jug - wonder where that came from.Food took over 1 hour 30 mins to be served, chips took 1 hour 15 mins.2 Stars for the atmosphere which is great.
Tried this place for the first time and I must say, the aesthetics of the restaurant were great, food was wonderful and the service was simply outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, particularly Mr Saam Ahmed. A family friendly place too, which is a bonus. Will certainly be returning again.
Had a takeaway for Fathers day. The food was amazing , the restaurant itself looked very upmarket. The service was also exceptional as ready for collection on time with a few extras to try. Saam the manager was very friendly and made sure everything was to a high satisfaction
Wonderful fine dining experience at Indian Bonsai.Good choices of fusion dishes & unique mocktails.Nice owner & good ethos.Wish Saam & Indian Bonsai all the best 👍👍👍
Loved everything about this place, atmosphere and food. Service was awesome and the team were very lovely and accommodating . Can’t wait to revisit again.Ps. The place was aesthetically pleasing great for pictures 👍🏽

We’re always up for trying new starters menu, this team produced a perfect meal, in this current climate it’s very brave to open a food outlet but my cap is doffed to you. You are our new go to.Good luck. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food and great service, definitely worth another trip
Never again! Total rip off. Stay away unless you want to be ripped off.
Is best rusturent aver been good food good service one of the beautiful
The restaurant has only been open a few days and at the moment, only for deliveries, so we thought we would give it a try. It was amazing, the food was excellent and and very tasty. The staff are very friendly. Can’t wait until restrictions are lifted so we can eat in.
Never again. Rip off and a half. Gor charged £8 for 2 popadoms and sauce. Claims the pipes aint clean so couldnt give us a jug of water but charged us £5 for 800ml of water. £35 for noodles and a plate of beef and rice. Felt violated
Definitely not worth even 1 star.Double check the prices before you order, deceitful pricing on menu... True what guy said below regarding water and padadoms, we felt totally ripped off too. The waiter said it was tap water and owner claimed the pipes were dirty they couldnt drink tap water themselves....really so do they cook with mineral water too????I cant be bothered to talk aout the quality of his food. Absolutely awful!!! Never ever again!!!!!IN RESPONSE TO YOUR ARROGANT RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW:I HOPE YOU SUCEED HOPEFULLY NOT RIPPING OFF PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF FINE DINING.DRINKING TAP WATER AT OUR RISK -FINE DINNING HEY????STALKING MY PROFILE ???COUNT YOUR LUCKY STARS I DIDNT KICK UP A FUSS AT YOUR RESTAURANT IN FRONT OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.I DID MENTION ALL THE THINGS BUT YOU CONVENIENTLY BRUSHED IT UNDER THE CARPET HENSE WHY THE REVIEW.WHICH STILL STANDS AND WILL ALWAYS STANDFOR THE RECORD1. Decent food but very expensive for soft drinksFood portions not great for the price you pay for a Dish (we got told we got a bigger portion than normal I would hate to have seen a normal portion sizeOver all food is full of flavour and very nice décor inside the restaurant
Good decor and seating area ....overpriced ..... and had to wait 45 minutes between starter and main.... staff was welcoming, food was alright.
Also forgot to mention even the staff looed embarrassed handing us the bill. The owner went into hiding.
Have always wanted an indo-chinese resturant in Luton (after falling in love with blue ginger) and I must say Im not disappointed.Tip: if you order straight from the website as opposed to justeat it will be much cheaper. Amazing food, will be visiting when lockdown is lifted. Loved the chicken manchurin.(Also some menu suggestions: samosa chaat, pani/dahi puri, crispy corn and spinach and hakka noodles would really stand out as not many places in Luton do these well and you guys seem to have an excellent chef).Again, great food. Highly recommended!
Nice atmosphere, very good service and food is amazing.
