Yumchar was okay 👌 the fish tofu was the highlight! Friendly and helpful service. Very reasonable prices for the food

Been going here with my partner for 20 years now. Still love it compared to others. The texture in the dumplings are so much better. The filling in other places I have been to are too minced. Still my #1 spot for yumcha

Best local Yum Cha in Wellington region. Good selection of seafood and steam dishes. Added to that the prices are reasonable compared to Wellington and Petone offerings

Very nice Yum Cha!Nothing really challenging, but that was fine for the 3-5 year olds we brought with us. Sticky rice, spring rolls and dumplings all very nice. Coconut bread buns were superb! Service was excellent with knowledgeable wait staff, who could explain what was on offer and who brought jelly for the kids at the end. (Thank you so much!). Will definitely be back again!

Went for the smorgasbord. Lots of variety...maybe 20 dishes incl bbq pork, lemon chicken, and duck. Also ice cream and coconut jelly to finish. Some dishes tasted a little odd, but the service was friendly and I are too much

Extremely disappointed in the quality of food, our noodles felt like rubber bands and the fried rice just tasted like white rice with peas, absolutely no flavor to either dishes, won tons were appalling, only had enough filling to match the size of the end of my thumb, will never be eating here again

Traditional taste and good quality of food, you might find the taste is light, as they dont put too much salt/sugar and oil thus its good for health compared to other Chinese restaurants in hutt valley. The weekend dimsum is must try and so affordable.

Great service, good variety of food. They even do chicken feet and beef tendons. Restaurant is in need for renovation but you know its good stuff if its been here for years.

Friendly staff and a good selection of yum cha dishes. The restaurant is pretty tired and dirty though, we had to brush food off our chairs before sitting down and the floor around our table hadnt been cleaned in a while.

I had an evening meal here with a group of about 24 friends. It was pretty good. We had a buffet style meal and the key thing is that it was very affordable.

1st time here Sunday 17th November 2019 enjoyed the food,very fresh,tasty,served hot didnt have to wait long for the next round of food to come round ....lots of variety,plus the tea DEFINITELY GOING BACK....probably try their smorgasbord during the week Dinner Friday night

Excellent value-for-money Chinese smorgasbord is just $20 for all you can eat, including tea and coffee. Reasonably good food for steam-table fare, with plenty of variety. Theres a menu too, if you want fresh-cooked, and they do yum char. Friendly staff. Child-friendly. We eat here regularly.

Best yum cha in Wellington!

I would give it a ZERO if I could. If you cant find a park outside the front of the Lower Hutt store, DO NOT GO THERE!! I parked in their so called Customer car park around the back and got a $65 infringement. I disputed with both parking enforcement and the restaurant and the restaurant never replied. Ill make sure EVERYONE knows about this, thanks to Facebook it will make it quick and easy to spread the word. Dont call it customer parking if not even customers can park there without getting a fine.

Spring rolls were dry gross, inners looked like solidified meat tubes. Place smells like poo. Crunchy dim sums, what the hell? its supposed to be Steeeeamed!!!

As is usual for Chinese restaurants targeting Chinese diners, not a cent is wasted on the decor. Food is good without being great.

Perfection in quality. smorgasboard lunch -$14. gives unlimited generous 3 courses meal of extremely high quality. best of this cousine in lower hutt, amazing spacious diner, with no loud in your face china music, decor, etc. polite, courteous staff, eat here forever with satisfaction & happiness.

Best quality yumchar in the lower north island

Very poor service when we went to yum cha this morning. Some of the staff we very lack luster with there filling of tea pots for all patrons, and clearing plates.

Good world is fantastic for its weekend Yumcha :-) Staff are very friendly and the food is YUUUUMM! Decor is a little bit old and tired but the food and service really make it a great place to eat

The price is quite high even compared with the large chinese restaurant .the quality of dishes is so bad. The dishes are so different with the manu. I wont go there anymore in the future The price is higher than the city hotel, the quality of the dish is very poor, and all the dishes have a taste. The recipe does not match the dish. I will never go again.

All dim sum is 4 yuan, food is ok.
