Managed to get a last minute reservation and so glad I did! The atmosphere is very chic and the staff welcoming and helpful. My girl friend and I absolutely love steak tartar but as she is receiving treatment at The Marsden we felt we should stay away from raw egg and they happily obliged and it was just perfect without. We had a fabulous lunch.

I was an employee here. Had to harass them for 1 month to get my salary. Never been in such of humiliating and toxic environment in my life. Very violent managers denigrating constantly the employees. The quality of the food is low-grade. Its just cheap food that aims to be sold for an expensive price. To avoid at all cost.

One of my favourite restaurants.I was so looking forward to coming back top Le Colombier after lock-down. The food and service were excellent - happy friendly smiling staff(even though they had masks on you could feel the friendship). The food was really good, an excellent crab salad, and a fish soup with a great rouille. Then Rognons de veau with a delicious mustarad sauce (something you cant easily do at home) and a splendid veal chop. Rhum Baba and Creme Brulee finished us off ! Will be back very soon.

My wife and friends visited here recently and they made the following observations. Food is fine, but pricey. But the Service is very unpleasant. As a mixed group of a Brit and others, they felt that only French customers were welcome there, and the staff were unfriendly to the point where my wife, who has lived in France for 14 years, would have left if she hadnt been with her friends. The whole group were clear about one thing - never go there again.

A sorry excuse for a foie gras terrine, just plain low grade foie gras taken straight out of the jar with the preservation oil (!!!) and accompanied with some gag-inducing condiments on the side. It will never cease to amaze me what passes off as food in London.

We have been going here for many many Years. A genuinely French luxury Brasserie, usually full of the indigenous population of Chelsea Square and its environs. Recently survived an attempt to turn it into a residential development. Food quintessentially French, including des crustaces etc, with excellent service. Reasonable value for central Chelsea.

The food is usually great, but the steak tartare had too much onions and spice. The onions were too overpowering that it felt like eating a dish of onions. Also, the service between starter and main course was too fast. Lastly, as we were waiting for Uber to arrive one of the managers said were closing which was unnecessary to mention because we were getting ready to leave and he just needed to be more patient.

Fantastic authentic French experience! The steak tartare is the best I have ever tried - no Tabasco needs to be added as flavour and consistency is just perfect! The frites are just like that in Paris! The Champagne is out of the world, in particular the Charles De Cazanove. Staff are very attentive! Can’t fault, highly recommend!

The Very French ambiance of the place is not matched by the food (salade de chevre drowned in a sloppy sauce, the tiny button-sized cheese roundels insipid, sitting on a 1mm thick piece of toast. This classic can be had in Paris in every brasserie, always different, but spot in) amateur staff (they have the right accent, but have never waited before it seems)

Was here recently invited. Set menu was good, foie gras terrine and perfect fillet of beef. Fraisier strawberry cake for the occasion (birthday) extremely disappointing, sponge was dry and rubbery, not moist with syrup as it should be and not mousseline filling but creme patissiere, too thick and solid. I just ate the strawberries. Service was ok

DisappointingI heard quite a bit about this place, some good, some bad,but i guess its the name of the game. I finally decided to go and judge by myself.my wife and I arrived on time, open minded and the welcome was all but welcoming, not even a hello, just have booked? Not the best start.A table was assigned to us,the menu came,we ordered. The starters were quick to come, which is good, unfortunately, quite small,we all know what chicory costs,a very walnuts,a bit of blue cheese, but i guess,it was a starter, therefore meant to be small..or is it not?the tartare followed, yet again quite small,i thought ,well with a bit of bread that will do nicely..it did not.the meat was good though, just poorly seasoned, which for a steak tartare is unfortunate,if not ridiculous. We gave up,paid and left, still hungry and angry.the service is poor,on the verge of clinical, all around not worth the effort, nor te money, one could think that in time of recession, this restaurant and its staff, does NOT need our custom..well good news..we wont be back.
