The Thames is a fantastic river. The river often has exhibitions on it and this was a terrific celebration of the great fire of London. It was a barge with wooden representations of the buildings that went on fire in 1666. The exhibition was set a light. It was a very crowded experience. I photographed the exhibit a couple of hours before they set it alight. You can watch it on YouTube.

Five stars as it meets all the criteria of my idea of a river. Long, narrow body of fresh water that widens as it flows down to sea level to merge with the sea.Has boats and other things floating on it.Although its water, I wouldnt recommend drinking it.My friend Chifus went in there and is still alive. Will update if this changes.

The River Thames, known alternatively in parts as the Isis, is a river that flows through southern England including London. At 215 miles, it is the longest river entirely in England and the second-longest in the United Kingdom, after the River Severn. It flows through Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Windsor. One can enjoy a different view of London on a sightseeing River Thames cruise.#LVPMoment✔️

Review №43

A long, sluggish river that winds through disgusting metropolitan sprawls and beautiful countryside, the Thames deserves a solid 4/5, not because of its polluted urban stretches but for its diverse abundance of fishes and idyllic tributaries. This is a primarily slow-moving, alkaline rich river, granting it a lowland biota of pike, carp, bream, roach, rudd, tench, and perch. Water clarity in the Thames is mediocre, though certain areas are pretty turbid. Overall, the mighty Thames is a good river with some revolting stretches within the depressing urban clutches of London.

English river going through London and southern England. Lots to see and do along this busy, lovely River. If you in central London, there is lots of walks that can be done. Boat rides, and when the river tide is low, you can places like small coves and beaches (be careful and make sure you can get back quickly if the tide starting to come in).If you like a good spot for a photo, London Bridge looking towards tower bridge is good, and if you get there in the morning before sun rises, you can see the sun coming up.If in London,a walk / visit to the river is a must.

River Thames 😍Longest river in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿It spans over 346 kmsMany architectural marvels are constructed across the river - London bridge 🌉, Westminster, Tower bridgeRiver Thames is home to over 25 different species of fish 🎣It starts from cotsworld and travels over 346 kilometres through England’s picturesque towns and cities and then right through London city 🌃 and then mingles over North Sea 🌊Whether you are a boatsman or Holiday maker or fisherman 🎣 or Traveler unlike me you would find everything on the banks of river Thames.Let me tell you folks an interesting fact about River Thames- it takes its name from the Sanskrit Tamas that means ‘dark’ as it’s waters are often cloudy ⛅️ and darkYet another thought 💭 would be it’s named after the Roman Tam meaning ‘wide’

I can totally say that river thamesview is beautiful from every perspective. No matter during a shining day or a spotlightful night. The walk along the thames is extremely romantic if you are with your couple or partners.I can guarantee that this is one of the best view in London everybody should visit here. There are lots of events around everyday. Someday you can see groups of protesters. Someday you could see talentful nomad musicians or even excellent arts performers. But if you are eating ice cream please beware of those seagulls. 😂😂😂

Nice building and quite an interesting history. Is the main river in London and is the longest river in England. Its great place for a river cruise and you can get on and off at many points of the river. There are numerous bridges across it and it is also the river used in the annual world famous boat race between Oxford and Cambridge universities.  Not huge but a pleasant way of spending an hour. Nice little cafe on the ground floor which you use without paying the very cheap entry fee.Such a beautiful piece of history,Another must see tourist attraction. The face of London! You can walk across the city by the riverside. Its very beautiful, nice to practice sports os just drink a pint. I especially like the area that crosses by Battersea and Pimlico / Vauxhall. Its A very good place to just have a seat and relax looking the river. But it can be busy and noisy, like the area around the Parliament, in Westminster. It`s the face of London. Impossible imagine the city without Thames
