Good authentic Nepalese restaurants. We shared. A couple of starters, lentils pancakes and chicken Momo, two mains like Nepalese mixed grill and the Kathmandu dish, and some rotis/garlic naan bread. For dessert we had the Nepalese rice pudding and the mango sorbet.Pretty reasonable prices. It’s a tiny restaurant so better booking in advance.

A friendly welcome and attentive, good spirited staff. As someone else has mentioned, the momos were fantastic - very glad we ordered 2 portions each! The main curries were delicious, so well definitely be back to try some more from the menu. Very pleased to have found this little slice of Nepal in central London.

I came here in a group of 10 and we were given a table within 5 minutes downstairs, the place kept filling up too. They have a surprising number of seats although its a small restaurant and it doesnt feel too tight either. I ordered a mushroom dish (wasnt a fan) but nicked some panir off my friend and it was truly delicious! The food is of great quality. Prices are fine for central London, I paid 18£ for a main, rice, bread and a dessert but I was truly stuffed at the end.

Dont be fooled by the unassuming exterior almost unnoticed on the street. Not only does the restaurant extend to be larger than you might think, the best (and most important, obviously!) part of our visit was the food and the service. Our waiter was patient, helpful, friendly (not overly so), and we accepted and enjoyed his recommendation. This was quality food that was well-priced -- Comparable dishes elsewhere have higher stickers. We will be back soon.

It is not Great Nepalese its big Threat, I was staying in property adjoining to this hotel owned by same owner. One we had a meal at this place but while going in my room I saw chefs from this hotel smoking outside. Their attire, look was very much dirty and looking at them one can understand that they are not following basic hygiene policies. And you cannot expect quality of food from a person who himself not keeping him clean. This is a big threat to your health at your own cost. So friends be aware while visiting next time.I also want you to alert on staying facility provided from this family, as if you are planning to recommend to your family or friends you should know the facts. This place is located at prime location but its very unsafe to stay. The entrance itself is kept narrow and still narrows by an electric panel which I think has electric controls of restaurant his family owns just beside main entrance. Its a two story structure, ground floor 1 room, first floor 2 rooms plus kitchen plus two bathrooms and second floor 3 rooms. The room panels are made of wood and even flooring is made of wooden planks. You can easily gets disturbed if a guy sleeping adjoining room is snoring or they are having conversation in normal voice or even someone above your room is walking. Its really disturbing if someone is checking out early morning and moving bags and walking. Lot of movement happens as there are only two bathrooms/ toilets for 5 rooms ( 2 on first floor plus 3 on second floor). The steps are made of wood and narrow with width of 18 inches and that two in spiral shape. The structure has no lift, So moving out or going up is big challenge with your luggage. It is a big threat in case of fire to evacuate in such condition as if you manage to come down from death steps there is big challenge of narrow passage with electric panels. The adjoining Hotel is also a big threat for fire.Overall its definitely is an illegal construction made to extract money to take advantage of central location keeping guests life on a big threat. I am writing this review to alert future guests and also going to report this to regulating authorities in London. I humbly request past guests to comment on this and should confirm my observations. Request future guests not to put their lives in danger for sake of saving money. There are lots of safe options available in same area.

Everything in this place - from decor, to service to food was impeccable. I had only tried Nepalese food once, and even then it wasnt really traditional, and was mightily impressed. Visited with my inlaws (my father in law had a very successful Indian restaurant for thirty years and is VERY fussy) and everyone loved it. Not too dissimilar from Bengali curries, just a touch sweeter (though all restaurant curries are sweet), well spiced, just hot enough and very good portions. Not quite local or on our usual commute, but a restaurant Ill happily visit again. Thanks!

I discovered this restaurant when it was near Warren Street and I went often for its genuinely prepared flavours, created from fresh quality produce. That restaurant closed. A few months ago I found it on the East side of Euston station, still creating wonderful meals from fresh ingredients. It is a small restaurant and merits booking. I stick with the Nepalese dishes that they do so well. I have been surprised by hints of fresh mango and coconut; meats are tasty and cooked perfectly; dishes nicely presented with coriander.

My favourite Nepalese restaurant. Booking a table is advisable to secure a table Thursday & over the weekend. Friendly, obliging staff, scrumptious food. They even persuaded me to try a liver dish, which was tasty. I usually cant stand try stuff. Service can be slow when busy (where isnt it?!). Handy for tube home from Euston, with plenty of pubs around to build up an appetite first.

Surprisingly great Indian food at reasonably good price. We came here last week, having seen reviews online. I was not disappointed. The momos [especially the lamb] were delicious. As were the currys!I would also like to say that the TV screens showing areas of Nepal were a really nice touch. I instantly felt relaxed, and forgot we were in the middle of Euston! Finally, you could tell that it was a family run restaurant. The small touches, and great service make this place one I would come back to. My sister loved the yogurt chutney so much, that the owner gave her a small tub to take home with her for free. She was delighted! Thank you.

Horrible service. Was offered nan or rice next to my meal and was not informed that it is going to cost extra. When I tried to reason with the stuff, three men came to argue with me and argued absolute non-sense trying to circle the whole story around.I am editing this review as the owner has given me a reply.Unfortunately the owner is a liar as well. And I did not enjoy the food unfortunately either, it did not work well on my stomach.I also found the staff intrusive and did not enjoy the place.Next day I went to a Turkish restaurant and order myself a gozleme and service asked me if I would like to have some tea while I am waiting. As I had this bad experience at the restaurant which about this review is, I hesitantly asked if it extra charge. And I was looked at with surprise and told it is free. The gozleme itself cost £2.50.Today I went to a cafe and ordered breakfast. I was asked if I would like tea or coffee and toast or bread with it. I looked at the service person silently to which he added that it is free.Unfortunately I did not have that nice experience in any way at talked about restaurant and I hope they can learn from the service in other places and not compare themselves with mcdonalds and have more respect towards their customers! It does not take that much of an effort to provide better quality service and be transparent with the customers!I was offered rice or nan bread when I already had done the order and my drink was brought to table. Nothing was said about it being extra. So a more reasonable reply from the owner would have been an apology and honesty and saying that their staff needs some more training to raise the quality of their service!Sincerely hoping you will learn from this experience!

I used to come here a lot before they refurbished. Since then the place looks beautiful but the quality of the food has taken a tragic nose dive. The momos are made with frozen veg & all the curries are the same. Absolutely brilliant, get all the momos you can eat and then just go on recommendations - face it, you dont know Nepalese food as well as the servers or the cooks and every single thing they turned us onto was a) a winner and b) something we might not have ordered otherwise. If youve just emerged from Euston and youre worried about being ripped off by a restaurant near the station, good work, you should be worried by most of them! But this is the exception, the rare and excellent combination of brilliant food and great value.

Once we entered there were an oriental smell, very typical i would say. The restaurant room is very small.Great food. Given what my friend and I have ordered, I would say the portions was generous and the food very tasty.Never had a mutton near so tender (traditionally is very strong). And given the fact we were just us and another small group of people, the amount if time we waited for the food to be delivered is only synonym of freshly cooked food. The owner is very gentle and supportive. Travelled to try something new and give an opportunity to a new small restaurant. Weve been to many Nepalese restaurants in London and this certainly is one of the over rated ones. The price doesnt justify neither quality nor quantity.Ordered Veg Momos, Paneer dish, Fried Rice and a chicken dish.- Momos were made with frozen vegetables and some of the vegetables were not even steamed properly, the sauce which was poured over momos was also bland with certainly no taste of Great Nepalese restaurant.- The Paneer dish seemed to have been made in a canned curry mix thinned with water with a bland taste to it.- Fried Rice, again had no taste of fried rice at all which an Asian nepalese restaurant should have. Lack of salt, vegetables added to the blandness.- Chicken dish, had similar gravy to the momos sauce and slightly bit flavour full.Did speak to the manager on duty though who seemed to have taken comments on board but not accepting any fault with the recipe or the way food was prepared. In all food is decent enough to have a meal near Euston Station, if you are hungry enough and dont have any other option.Since weve been to many and recommended many nepalese restaurants in the past, unfortunately this restaurant wouldnt be recommended.
