Great food and superb quality. It does not disappoint. During lockdown weve had numerous takeaways and would recommend the following dishes - boneless chicken or lamb biryani, chicken tikka boti, tandoori fish (served with a naan bread), king Prawn karahi, chicken karahi, lamb karahi and chilli/garlic naan.Another takeaway at the weekend which was excellent- mixed grill, tandoori prawns, lamb biryani, chicken biryani, lamb karahi, prawn karahi, chicken karahi and butter naans. Exceptional quality π
Couldnt stop craving for it since last time. Had it again today as takeaway. Again exceptional and outstanding. 2 weeks ago: Absolutely beautiful food. Cooked to perfection. Spices not overpowering but balanced to complement the main ingredients and flavours. Thoroughly enjoyable. Service was impeccable.
Amazing food, comfortable atmosphere. The cocktails are to die for and are affordable. The food is /delicious/. This is my new regular. All the staff are so wonderful. In particular Harry, who is so charismatic, friendly and funny. Thank you for having us π
Very nice, fresh food with a lot of flavour. The fish starter was particularly tasty! Will definitely order from here again, highly recommended.
Excellent food. Authentic and very decent size portions.
We have been to Karachi many times for dinner, and it has always been great. This time, we used them for food for our wedding. The service and food was, again, great. Food arrived on time, and was devoured by the guests. We will always return to them for good food, great service, and an alround brilliant experience.
Best known place for Pakistani and Indian Dishes
Best Pakistani food in London. By far best service as well. Taste is just like Karachi food
Authentic taste, probably the best service in South London! Definitely has a high end, upscale feel the place due to the ambience, food quality, service and price! Highly recommended if youre after proper Pakistani food as this is one if the only places in South London that cooks dishes from scratch
Great food, nice ambience and excellent service. Highly recommend the Paya, Nihari and the Yakhni Pulao. The perfect place for a more refined dining experience in Pakistani cuisine. The only reason why we are not regulars is that its very far otherwise this would have been a regular favourite of the family.
Food was appetizing and good ,and service was excellent, highly recommend this place for good food and great ambience.
Tried the Bun Kebab, Gol Gappe and Nihari. All very good, Bun Kebab definitely the winner though. The falooda was a better pick against the mango Kulfi. Service was pretty slick. Will definitely go back to try the other bits on the menu.
Loved the food and service. The staff were really nice and friendly.
Had read the good reviews and decided to visit the restaurant- however sadly disappointed. Their nihari was watery, biryani chicken leg was stone cold (obviously meant their microwaved biryani was from fridge). The restaurant ran out of mineral water and instead offered 2 small bottles. (And charged me thus for their own mistake).Karachi cuisine SPECIALS Starters were average and mains were disappointing.
Went all across London from romford to norbury for good quality foodThe waiter was very courteous and showed us to our boothStarters were good and the salad was exceptionalThe biriani was also flavoursome with the right amount of spice for usThe 2 curries however were absolutely drenched in oil so much so that we had 1 sent back to remove the excess but still on return there was too much oil covering the curryBeing conscientious eaters and knowing what harm that much oil could do to your body we had to leave a large proportion of the curriesAll the flavours were all there though( shame the half a cup of oil was to)
Loved it wicked experience kona paye were amazing , friendly staff and good sitting area
Great food, friendly staff and nice place.
Came here with a friend. We walked in no welcome or anyone that asked us what we need. We eventually was offered a table near the front so we could wait to order and be seated somewhere more to the back. Part of the food took just under an hour to arrive. Bare in mind it was only the chicken korma and rice and bread that came. The rest of the meal βmixed grill chips, tandoori prawns and lamb korma were no where to be seen. We ate alittle of the food as were so hungry waiting. No one welcomed us or gave us the sauces that they usually place on the customers tables as they wait. It seems like as if the customer that were being taken care of and more of a priority where the customers from their native country.. we had people around us from the native country that were served within 20 mins of order being taken. In the end the lamb korma didnβt even come and we paid for the rest of the food a creamy bill which wasnβt worth it at all. Very very upset with this as havenβt been out in such a long time . Very disappointing as I looked so hard and found that this restaurant would be a nice place. I called to speak to the manager after I left as I didnβt want to make a scene there and other people to hear and see. The lady that answered told me to call back in an hour which I found very very rude. You need to work on your customer service and have more staff to look after your customer.
A typical Pakistani restaurant. Their haleem and paya are nice, however their kebabs and other dishes are okay. The restaurant looks a little tired and can benefit from an uplift of a lighter ambience. The service wasnt bad but they include this in the bill so not the cheapest..
It was an astounding lunch for us!The food is great! Finger licking tasty! The perfect blend of spices! The aroma is soul fulfilling! The lamb biryani has a characteristic taste! The rice was infused with the fragrance of saffron, cumin and other herbs! The doodh patti was like the home made one! Awesome! The starters are good as well. The aura and the feel of the place is astonishing! The offers are grand! The staff are polite!βThey cook wonderful tasty food!β Exclaimed my child!
It was ok... Didnt like food taste much.. paan was good.staff was very welcoming .
Bit pricey but food and service is ok.
Excellent service. Dum briyani was very delicious π

Great Authentic food of Pakistan, particularly Karachi. 4.5 stars every time. .
This shop is a top pick of a bunch for me. Nice food nice experience, very nice to children. Really good restaurant. No real complaints apart from making it a bit bigger.
The food is so delicious π
Excellent food, soft non greasy Kebabs and soft fresh naan bread. Probably the best on the bone buryani Ive ever had. The bun burgers are so delicious as well as the mango lassi. The halva for dessert was so good too. Excellent desi flavours, like home. This place isnt noisy and not very busy. Definitely underrated. Well keep coming back
The mighty Bun Kabab. Probably one of the best if not the best in London. Beautifully cooked, nicely seasoned, great textures and perfect with a serving of chutney and thinly sliced red onions. Sounds, looks and definitely tastes of Karachi. This establishment serves some amazing varieties of authentic Karachi Cuisine. The only advise to the owners is please do not charge customers extra for a side of chutney and red onions. That so un-Karachi!
I have dined at the restaurant before and only happy to support local business. The place and setting is highly maintained The staff are courteous and professional. Covid 19 guidelines practices are observed. Once you have been seated you are advised to choose your food from the menu on the website, which is good because you can plan your selection ahead of your visit. The menu has a good variety of dishes which are well presented and flavoursome for all palates. Highly recommended.
Owsome, fantastic
Need to improve taste and staff need to be more friendly.
The place was remarkably clean and the service was spot on. Staff were on hand and very friendly, namely Farhan. However, if youre after authentic Karachi food then this place is not for you. We ordered all the Karachi specialities: Behari boti, dum biryani, maghaz fry, NEhari and Haleem. All food was tasteless and bland. We ordered green chillies to spice it up which they very kindly provided. However, that doesnt make up for the lack of masala in the food and the authenticity we were after.
Wow!!!...Karachi cuisine was so delicious. We live in Florida and visiting family in Norbury England. I ordered desi bun kabab that reminded me of bun kababs that I used to eat thirty some years ago in Karachi after school got off every afternoon, made me almost teary eyed. Dinner was authentic as well. The owners son Rehan told me Nihari was made by his father, it was truly truly delicious. Next day ordered chicken burger....OMG!!! Delicious. I feel the owners are wonderful and humble people who take pride in their quality cooking. I dont know all their names but Rehan, Sadia, and dad you are all excellent. I hope you open a branch in USA as well, we welcome you with open arms. Rehan I will be looking for you in California. Your friend Azam from Florida.
Ordered food for collection. Was told it would be about 25 mins but was actually more like 45 mins, however, this was on one of their busiest days, Eid. Food was good quality, ordered the Β½kg chicken Karahi dish and a few different Naan breads. Naans were really fresh and tasty and chicken was good too, not too spicy and a good level of meat.
Great food and great service. Best food place, ever.
We went to Karachi Cuisine, in Norbury, today for a Pakistani breakfast. We had been to their smaller outlet down the road, a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it very much. The new place is much bigger, cleaner and up market with amazing decor and same delicious taste. The kunna paya there is amazing. It is a blend of paya and nihari. Goes very well with kulcha bread. Obviously, we ordered halwa poori which came with potatoes and chickpeas gravy. The staff there is very polite and respectful. Loved it very much.
Having seen the reviews and been recommended this take away, I tried it for the first time tonight. The worst curry I have ever had. The mushroom rice tasted more like onion rice with no flavour. The onion bhaji had no flavour. Tasted like fried balls of dough couldnt taste any onion. As for the chicken korma, no coconut almonds or cream used at all. It was basically an oil juice which tasted of tomato and oil. The only thing edible and nice was the poppadoms and naan bread. So I paid Β£23 for bread and poppadoms. Fuming!
We have been using Karachi during lockdown and the food has been delicious. Thank you
Closest taste of Karachi in london
Good authentic food.
Completely been deceived by the reviews. Service and food was horrendous. Iβm a person who is easily pleased, give me a tuna sandwich even and Iβm happy, give me anything but their food.Waiting time was longer than expected, even though people who came after were served before us.Avoid this place at all costs!
Absolutely nothing to fault them on. Weve been coming here for a couple of years and their food, atmosphere and staff are perfect. Professional but very friendly, prices are good. Very much recommended.
Delicious food.
Outstanding Paya Kunna, Karahi, and Zarda and all these things were just like what you get in Karachi and nans were as genuine as they can be. BBQ is not their strong suite though although it is as good as other place in London albeit a bit bland. Nevertheless a place worth a trek, if you care for Pakistani cuisine, wherever you might be in the city.
Recently went to the resturant with the Rishi deal. We were 2 adults and a 4 yr child. It costed us about 25 pounds after the discount. The food was pretty good. Jad the starters as gol gappa. Totally recommend it! Also had fresh sugarcane (Ganna) juice and mixed juice which i was not impressed with. The main course platter was brilliant! No Parathas available sadly. It is very difficult to find parking around though.
Nice food nice service
Nice food and environment.
The starters were nice. But it took way too long for the main course to arrive. When it arrived the things were missing like salad and stuff. Biryani wasnt fresh and portion size was small compared to what they were charging. expectations were high but received poor service.
Lovely food great service
Good place for first try of pakistani food
Karachi made me fallen in love with Indian food. The menu let you to culinary explore Pakistan in a comfort of your local restaurant . The waiters are lovely and make you feel welcomed. This place is a precious gem of Norbury. We are and will be regulars.
Unique taste with the true taste of Biriyani
Love it, great hygiene, healthy and tasty food.ππ»
Ive been visiting Karachi Cuisine regularly for the past few years and find the quality of food to be excellent. My only complaint is that they dont seem to serve beef, which is a mainstay of Pakistani cuisine. Apart from that though, I love the food quality and am very glad there is an authentic Pakistani restaurant in the area.
Great food and atmosphere. Polite staff. Overall a great experience!
Good food.
Looks nice and posh. Bought a takeaway the other day, service was excellent. Neatly packaged food. Food tasted great.
This place is incredible! 5 stars isnt enough. Decided last minute to have dinner here at a busy time without a booking, staff were wonderful and attentive, they had us sat down quickly and our food came in good time. Food was beautiful! So glad we made the choice to come. We will certainly be back.
Have ordered from here several times and they never fail to satisfy. The food is really tasty! The falooda is amazing! I hope the consistency remains. Fairly priced for really good quality food.
Good customer service, nice ambience and most importantly authentic taste of Karachi. Highly recommend
Pricy, but quality worth money!
I order every few weeks 4 chicken biryanis and they are usually lovely tasting but three weeks ago the food hardly had any chicken in it. Yesterday I requested a bit more chicken in the biryanis and instead I received horrible tasting food. The chicken was old and dry and did not taste like chicken, the rice was so dry also and was very hard to eat. Not to mention that the Just eat driver everytime when he calls me to collect the food he asks for tips when is up to me if I want to give or not and if so how much.I will not order anymore unfortunately the chefβs mistakes cost quite a lot.
Friendly atmosphere
Authentic food, friendly staff and beautiful ambience.
Quality and quantity not worth the money
Great restaurant, delicious food! π
The food is delicious and freshly prepared, I have been there on 4 occasions with my partner and each time we have had excellent level of service and attention to detail. Highly recommended.
Extremely good food, moist kebabs and excellent biryani with very flavoured rice.
5 star food and atmosphere. Very pleased with service. Highly recommended
Very tasty. Nihari wasnt that good and management were kind enough to remove this from the bill. 10% service charge was a surprise as no mention on website or on menu.
A favourite of mine. Always receive excellent service and the food is fantastic.
Visited this restaurant for the first time as I thought it would be delicious, ended up being the worse experience. Waiting time for the food was more than one hour like they forgotten our order. Had to call them various of times! As it eventually arrived I was surprised by the sizes and prices, I took a bite of the food it was cold and tasteless. Not only the service was awful but the food was terrible as a Pakistani I have eaten better places and that didnβt taste right. Wouldnβt recommend to anyone please go somewhere else and save time. Never trust the reviews!
