The portions were large and the food came out really fast. The restaurant was empty when I got here and the host was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. To anyone wanting to visit this restaurant, I’d sincerely advise against it. While the ambience is decent, everything else went downhill. The whisky we ordered came in a tall juice glass and not a whisky glass. If they’re serving whisky, they need to have the right glasses for it. It might as well have been served in a plastic cup, otherwise. And the “double” that we ordered most certainly wasn’t a double. When we wanted to go Dutch and pay separate checks, the waiter was not accommodating. His demeanor was unpleasant and he kept forcing us to pay in cash. Even when we let him know that we didn’t have the cash, he kept suggesting that we head out to the ATM nearby to withdraw cash. He must have changed his mind, because the waiter suddenly came back to us after a while to let us know that he’d split checks after all.I would rate the food a 2.5/5. It wasn’t too authentic, but it wasn’t bad either. Overall, the experience was very off-putting, and I would definitely not recommend this place to others nor visit again myself. I hope they improve on their hospitality and their treatment of customers.

Poor service, fair food (at best). Forgot to give us menus. Then forgot to give us napkins. Both curry dishes were very watery and tomato-saucy, though they should have been creamy and rich. We ordered Chicken Madras and Paneer Tikka Masala (we dont recommend these dishes here).

We went here before seeing Book of Mormon on the West End a couple of years ago, and it was before I moved to London and so I had no idea where it was, we just head inside because we fancied some Indian food. Then, the other day, walking around London, I saw it and was immediately reminded of the wonderful meal I had. It’s funny how London pieces together once you’ve been here a while. I have only good memories of the curry I had and will definitely head back again soon to see whether it’s as good as I remember!

Terrible service, quality of food and racist staffWent on a Saturday evening as the neighboring restaurant where we wanted to eat was incredibly busy. They refused a table to my husband even though only 3 tables were occupied. When I asked for a table about 10 minutes later as we couldnt wait anymore with a hungry toddler, at restaurant of original choice, a table was magically free. We were placed right at the end of the restaurant next to the toilet though 10 other seats were available at the front. These seats were later given to Caucasian clients. Ordered a bowl of steamed rice for toddler, took 25 minutes to arrive. Asked for tap water 4 times and got glasses on the table on the 4th try but no water till were to leave. One of the items on the order never arrived but was the 1st one in the bill. Food taste and quality was really poor. Dont waste you time or money on this place.

I dont always write a review but when i do its either because the service was phenomenal or horrible. Unfortunately, in this case, it was the latter. My top 3 complaints of the night are -1) The service was awful. As soon as the waiter gave us the menu card, he expected us to tell him the order. When we asked him to give us time, he went into a completely ignorant mode and never came back. The waiter was busy having a conversation at the reception and forgot the napkin as well as to serve us water2) The food was not properly cooked. The protein, both chicken and lamb, were chewy and didnt seem like they were fresh.3) The food was unreasonably spicy. You should trust us on this one and be really warned. We prefer and love spicy food but the gravy on the dish was just plain from hell.

Horrible meal. Service was shocking, food was bland. Cutlery tray got knocked off the shelf, which fell on the floor under my partners feet. She moved, no apology was given. Instead of washing the knives and forks, they wiped them with a dry cloth and put them back. When we complained to staff they knocked off the service charge and took another £6 off the bill. Food had no flavour whatsoever. Put me off of eating Indian food, not worth the money at all. Avoid!

The fish prawn was missing from the starter- didn’t complain. Samosa was cold?? kebab didnt taste nice at all. Food seemed as though it was warmed in a microwave.Service was ok, first chap was so rude and unwelcoming. Second chap who took over made more of an effort. My partner ordered a lamb curry and i ordered the chicken biryani. The biryani had no taste lacked flavour nothing traditional about this. The veg curry that accompanied the biryani was far too sweet. This place is total rip off. Was going to give 3 but, after they did with me, will only give 2. My Roti cost was equivalent to the curry and still, only at par. Got mushroom curry, there was more green pepper than mushroom in it and taste was average. Also here comes the thing, they initially gave me plain rice along and as I mentioned then I will cancel my roti as I didn’t know it came with rice. So, he immediately got the roti which was 30mins after my order and took the rice back? Seriously? When asked the manager, he said it doesn’t come with rice but, the server clearly mentioned it came with rice and there was no one else in the restaurant at that time so, it can’t be a mistake either. They were discussing something and everything looked fishing not professionally run. As someone mentioned below, they differentiate people by their background. Avoid if you have a choice.

Horrible experience. I went there for a quick dinner. I live in the area and usually always go to Punjab or Woodlands for Indian food. Tried this place for the first time in 10 years and had my worst London dining experience. Food was average but overpriced. Waiter refused to serve me when i placed an order for a second helping, saying everything should have been ordered in one go. Never ever seen this before at a restaurant. As a result, I ended up leaving the restaurant hungry (but after paying >£15 for the first helping). The owner of the restaurant was sitting right in front of me, but refused to intervene and help. Seems like rudeness is an accepted way of life at this restaurant. Strongly suggest to avoid this place. If in the area, try restaurants Punjab or Woodlands for authentic Indian food with greater variety.
