Best institute in every aspects. Wonderful and expertise faculties, instructors and support staff. Glad and grateful, I selected this Institute.Specially the food and accommodation is extremely good along with excellent academics. Almost all sports are available and there is so much greenery round the campus. Everything well maintained 👍🏻But it also has its downside.

I had cleared the exam through amcat and was invited to mumbai for interview , after personal interview was informed that i was selected and was asked to take medical exam for which i paid rs 3000, after that 2 weeks later came to know i was not selected , it was just a way for them to make me pay for medical exam . Anyway i am glad now that i didnt get selected

One of the best institutions for maritime training the labs and the campus is very well maintained.

If you are interested in doing your GME course than GREAT EASTERN INSTITUTE OF MARITIME STUDIES is one of the best option you can get to do it. The personal interview is hard to crack but once you are in than you should be careless as you will be in hands of some finest teachers who will make you understand the indept knowledge of the courses and subjects. The practicals over here are good and real-time . The facilities inside the institute are great and having some stringent rules to follow. How so ever the food is great the staff is awesome.The institute is situated on in lonavala at tungali village , just near to the lagoona resort.The weather here in lonavala is breathtaking. The practical facilities here are undoubtedly great. Tjow so ever here you have to folly a very tight schedule . They do offer some foreign companys recruitments as well.

In india big institutes think that they are above indian constitution they simply deny government maded rules which government institutes follow sincerely but affiliated Pvt institutes dont follow their approved rules for this rubbish profession merchant navy because they have money so they dont bother about others?

I recently completed GME from this institute. Dont go for rumors, This institute is best for pre-sea training. I enjoyed my stay at the institute. The faculty and instructors are too good. And the ly have well equipped workshop. The best part about institute is amazing infrastructure and a pleasant atmosphere. Overall amazing experience.

I dont understand how do they select candidates. I went through interview andinterviewers where happy with my performance and I clear medicals. Then also my name was not in merit list and people who did not answer well in interview are selected. Do I require to have connection to people in Great eastern for admission? They should atleast mention reason for not selecting after wasting so much time and money of mine.

If you love your career.. Then. ... dont go for gme over here.... For onboard training they will provide you ship in a very short span of time but after clearing coc class 4 exams, the waiting period is nearly 2 years and to get job outside after exam is currently one of the toughest task or else you have to shed out another handful of money for getting onboard. So I urge everyone to rethink atleast 10 times before enrolling here. Thank you..!!

They only provide onboard sea training time after that if you dont clear ur coc exam within two attempts you will not be given any employment them... So please do understand that market condition is very very bad ....dont waste your money...& avoid suffering.
