PROS- Property is well kept. Rooms are spacious. Staff is helpful. CONS- its difficult to reach the property as there are no direction sign/signboards. Quantity of Food is ok but the taste is not worth the price charged. Housekeeping staff is untrained. After ringing 2 bells they simply enter the room without permission. No sense of respecting the privacy of guests. When I pointed this out as a recurring problem to the lady in charge at the welcome desk, she simply tried to brush it under the carpet.Overall an average stay.

Amazing hotel with great staff, everyone from reception, restaurant, maintenance, valet, bell boys and housekeeping staff were polite and at their best, its a homely feeling with such welcoming staff. Rooms are top notch clean and comfy. Views are beautiful. Ample space available for parking. Restaurant food is incredibly delicious. Overall its a complete package. Nice hotel. Good food. Very cooperative and friendly staff. Room sizes are a bit small. Hotel location is good but almost everyone finds is difficult to find the road to the hotel because approach is from below the flyover bridge. Hotel management should look into it put some direction signboards along the way.

My experience at the fern is very poor.I had booked double bed room from booking.com for almost 19k and was assigned two single bed joint together room.When spoken about this to the desk person Mr Sathe he replied that other rooms were booked. So careless attitude and they didnt even bother to confirm before checkin. When confronted they are just like this is what is available. Had worst ever experience.

Zero stars!!! I was asked to pay in full while booking a room, but I paid half to secure the booking and left rest of the balance to pay after checkout (luckily). Unfortunately, we had to cancel and I was promised a refund to reflect in my bank account within 7 business days, however, it has now been over 15 days in all since I canceled and they initiated the refund. Obviously the refund was never initiated as they charged me on card but later asked for bank details to transfer- I think we all know refunds are usually refunded to the original form of payment. They still have the audacity to lie that the refund is initiated from their end and say that the fault is happening from our banks end.

The Fern is my go to resort when ever I have to relax and rejuvenate myself.Away from the hustle bustle of Mumbai City,yet in close proximity to drive down and enjoy amidst nature.The ambience is amazing and soothing.The staff is equally helpful, courteous and always available for your help.The food in the restaurant is tasty and total value for money.I was served non spicy and non oily food on request within a few minutes after ordering.Highly recommended to go to place.I have gone there twice,but looking forward to go there again very soon.

Little bit far from the main market but the rooms were large,neat and clean. The house keeping staff were very prompt. The dinner variety was good and the spread of buffer breakfast was fabulous. The entire premises was well sanitized. The check in and check out procedure was good. The view from the room was ok. overall we had a pleasant stay and this property can definitely be recommended.

Air Conditioning was not managed efficiently as the room got hotter towards early mornings on both nights of our stay, despite that the temperature was set at 22 deg. C.It was pointed out to the front office.

Visited d hotel for a wedding during d weekend. Very good property, well trained n polite staff. We stayed in one of d suites which was nice n spacious. Good was good too. As we were attending a wedding we didnt explore restaurant or bar options but d meals we had were good n tasty.

People book The Fern because of its reputation and class service in this industry which they provide all over India. Unfortunately we encountered few good and plenty bad experience here.We had booked 6 wintergreen rooms well in advance as we all friends were meeting after a long time.( Few of them from gujrat as well).The check-in time is officially 2pm and we were told during the booking that we could check in an hour earlier as well..After an overnight journey from gujrat few of my friends were tired and wanted to rest. But we were not given rooms till 4:30pm and made to sit in the lobby till then. Finally 5 rooms out of 6 were given and the final room was given at 6:30pm...The rooms which were given were not clean with stains of glass on table, dirty linen and smoke present may be from the previous guests..After pointing out all this to the manager did upgrade 3 rooms out of the 6 rooms we had booked but in this chaos we lost all the precious fun time we had come for. THIS IS SURELY NOT EXPECTED FROM A REPUTED BRAND LIKE FERN.Next day we went out and asked the reception for room cleaning. To our surprise when we returned the rooms were not still not clean. Again had to remind them for room cleaning which again is not expected.Hotel property is decent enough a bit far from main Lonavala market.Breakfast and the restaurant food was good with courteous staff in it.In a jist this place is overbooked with lesser staff which will not give you a great experience. You can opt for other better resorts in lonavala

After long we had a good picnic at lonavala. The pool is not operating as per govt notice. But else we enjoyed a lot nice playing are out door as well as Indore. Food is good and safety standards are very much up to the mark. Santizer are placed on all the area. All the tourist points are closed but tiger hill is open and we got some nice view with clouds surrounding.

Wonderful property! Good location. Exceptional bedrooms. We had one small problem with the service as there were not enough staff to take care of so many people. There is no safety protocol for COVID. So think before you make the booking. Would recommend to go post COVID. Stay wise, really good and well waiting the Lonavala city.

Stay was pleasant. They took all care of us considering the COVID situation. Staff was humble and quite helpful. Food was very tasty here, we enjoyed dinner with karoake evening. Since we had a stay with an year old baby, they fulfilled all that we required for baby care. Rooms were clean and hotels overall ambience was nice.

Well appointed spacious rooms in a new hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good food. Ample parking. Good Covid safety hygiene but limited facilities open due to regulations. Drawback is the view. One side you see the expressway and on the other open land with small hills far away. 100 meters of poor road to entrance. Special mention of staff: Onima, Arju at the desk and Vinod and his restaurant team of Aditya and Sagar.

We had a amazing time at the fernwe chkd into the hazel suit.. hotel matains a very good hygine and cleanliness. rooms are clean n with all the amenities mentioned. Ms Arju at the reception made sure all our request were taken care off. location of the hotel is excellent as it takes u out from the crowded lonavla city adjoining the express highway. Ambiance is good, tasty food and staff also very cooperative

The property was good but there should be more indoor games.There was nothing except chess and caram board. The badminton court should have been covered as there was lot of wind which was taking shuttle coak from here to there. At swimming pool there should have been some music to enjoy while you are in pool. The house keeping was very slow as it was taking more time than reasonable to give things at room.

A decent enough place to spend a day or two during the weekend. Here are the good and bad thingsThe Good:1. Big spacious property located right off the expressway2. One side of the property is the Valvan dam3. Grand bathroom (Winter Green room)4. Friendly staff5. Nice and huge car park, swimming pool and outdoor games areaThe Bad:1. Location being right off the expressway, you should avoid a room facing it2. A bit hard to locate on your first visit. Google maps goes completely haywire near the place and gives all kinds of wrong directions. The property can be accessed via the expressway ramp with an entry road so small that youll easily miss it4. The entry road from the ramp is in shambles, I just wonder how to enter the hotel during rains5. Nowhere do they mention this, but outside food and liquor is not allowed (even if you plan to consume it in your room), and given the secluded location of the place, the hotel restaurant becomes your almost only option during the night, unless you want to go some distance and the restaurant is neither cheap nor does it have too many menu options6. The room where I stayed had the wallpaper ripping off at places and looked like it could use some maintenance. I wish they had given it as much attention as they did with the bathroom7. Lonavala doesnt have Ola/Uber and the place being some distance from the main market, you should only visit if youre driving or have a rented cab for your entire duration of the stay

Very good property n awasum food

The property is good and very nice. But the trip started by giving us a room which was absolutely dusty. Then they changed the room to one which was cleaned. And the trip ended by them making us pay Rs. 500/- for a hand towel which had some color. They said it will not go with a wash, but we bought it home and it went off with one hand wash.

The overall stay was a very satisfying experience.The food was very good.The rooms are big and have a balcony.You can also get the view of the dam infront of the balcony if you book a room at the north side of the hotel. There is a indoor and outdoor cafeteria,a big lawn beside which there is a pool,there are games like football and cricket,the hotel have all the equipment required for playing these games.There is a confrence hall which can seat 350 people together.The service was amazing as I asked a blanket at 3am and got one in no time.Chef Gaurav made delicious food for us,Sweata from f&b is very courteous and helpful,the front office staff and gm all are very helpful and are willing to help you.Overall definitely worth staying.

Also, since it was my Anniversary, I requested for a private candle light dinner, which they arranged on the terrace along with an amazing service by Ravi Kumar and Abhas Sahu.Overall, an amazing experience.

Worst experience at fern hotel lonawala; we booked wintergreen category room claiming queen size bed on website but it was completely opposite to what we were offered ; two single size bed merged into one which is completely unacceptable and on the top of that room is not furnished as shown on website

We were looking for wedding resorts in Lonavala and the enquiry experience itself was extremely horrible. The staff member who was showing us around was very polite until we told him we are looking for a one day wedding with limited number of guests and wont require all the rooms. After that he was not even ready to give us a quote and became very rude.

Spent a weekend in his hotel. To be honest I was not aware of this hotel before in Lonavala. Hotel staff was vey humble and they took care of the guest very nicely. Rooms were very clean and they also take care of covid precaution very well.Breakfast spread was really good and dishes served were very fresh. Lunch we had gone for bouquet but was tag disappointed as they dont serve starters with it and in nonveg they had only 2 dishes but both were very gd. Even in dining area staff was very co-operative. In all a gd place to spend ur leisure time

This was my first stay with my partner as a couple and our first stay outside after the pandemic!The safety features were well taken care of . Very courteous staff and great service. Loved the food -taste and options were many and all of them perfect.The only thing which is a put off is the location. Its bang on the highway and hence the view isnt that great the upside to which is the accessibility.Overall great experience and a good place to visit not very far from the city for a quick staycation

There is a terrace with swings & nice place for seating ...the view of the open sky is beautiful at night from there. The food is delicious. There is variety in the breakfast items. At weekends they do have music, the singer performed awesome kishore kumar songs at dinner. They provide cycling for free.There is also a telescope outside the hotel within premises...were one can observe different stars & planet...its chargebale...good for kids.There is a small well maintained lawn & pool.The waterfall fountain in front of the hotel also creates a soothing ambience.Nice place to spend a weekend would like to visit again.

Nice property just off the Pune Mumbai Expressway off the Lonavala Culvert.ParkingThis is normally the most important thing that I look for when I select a hotel especially when Im on a road trip as this one aspect can ruin your trip in more ways than one. Having said that I must say that I was happy with the space available for parking.StayI had a great stay at the spacious rooms of the hotel. Nice public areas , fantastic service and had some awesome food.This is one hotel I will definitely come back to when I am in Lonavala

Good hotel and great experience during covid pandemic. Their staff is very friendly and cooperative. Its a hill facing hotel with good windy experience during night. They also keep stargazing event which is great knowledge and activity during leisure trip. Food was average but not bad but expected more varities.

It was an amazing stay at The Fern Lonavla, the rooms were clean and neat. especially the wooden finish in the rooms gave them a classy look.But the most disappointing part of our stay was food at the hotel. it was below average. the menu is very limited and not much options to choose from. during these times we opted to stay in and order but were really sad about the food choices.

When in Lonavala; Fern is a fantastic place to stay! The reception checked us into the Hazel Suite and from then there was no complaining. The property is new hence the interiors are well maintained and hats off to their quality of Linen and beddings. At Par with Four Points. One star deduction only for the cold food in the breakfast buffet. If you enjoy bacon, they serve the best. Book without hesitation! Coziness, privacy, quitness!

We have visited this during Unlock 5. hotel is neat and clean. Location is not that great, its adjacent to highway. We kept used plates(as advised by staff) outside the room after the dinner, those plate were lying there until we checked out next day at 1pm. service is not up to the mark. We had asked for dental kit, extra bed which came after 30 mins with several follow-ups. Breakfast was okay. here also service was pathetic. We had to remind what we ordered 2-3 times. I ordered Mysore sada dosa ,it was damn salty.okay

A beautiful property tucked near a water reservoir and a hill range in Lonavla. A three star responsible luxury ecotel. The staff is very well trained and courteous. The accessibility of the property is easy from the main road and it takes five minutes to reach from the Railway station. The young staff is eager to do something and the GM Mr. Gupta has a great sense in managing Guests. The rooms are well appointed and offer you a scenic view of the Lonavla natural landscape. A brilliant place.
