Excellent food and service. Has been our go to Indian place for many years. Best curries, naan, entrees and all. Highly recommend. And the owner is an incredibly kind and humble person.

Good friendly service. The dosas were great probably amongst the best we had. Only thing was there was no toilet.

A sweet local Indian restaurant with a great range of dishes. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, however all the Dosas dishes are also very delicious. Meals are average in price, depending on what you order but it works out to be about $25-$30pp. Rating this 4 stars as the decor and ambience is cold and not inviting.

Always at a good standard.. a bit pricey but quality ingredients used and I can tell as my stomach is happy the next day every time.. the old man there always serves with a smile and had become a friend due to us frequenting when we used to live there... probably one of the best Indian restaurants quality wise...

The masala dosas are a family favourite at Woodlands. We had the honour of hosting our engagement ceremony at the restaurant and the entire experience was memorable. The service, food and staff are all amazing. The food was something to remember and gives very homely vibes. All the staff members are very plesant and welcoming. We have always had a positive experience dining here. From entrees, mains to desserts, each item on the menu is unique to the restaurant and will not dissapoint. The gulab jamuns are by far the best offered at an Indian restaurant!

You guys should get off doordash. Second time we have ordered, its been confirmed by the restaurant we get notified the dasher had picked up our order only to receive a message saying your order has been cancelled. Just disappointing and frustrating as the food is good hence why we kept trying but now we are done.

Great place for authentic south Indian food... Excellent service. We end up going there all the time.

Within less than 10 minutes of ordering, our food was delivered cooked to perfection. The portions were great and definitely satisfied us even when shared. - Great Service! Great Food! (Will have to come back to try out the dosas, deliciously described by one of the friendly staff)

Was rather disappointed with the paper dosa take away recently ordered. The dosa was not the right texture and was hard and unpleasant on the palate. The sambals were cold and the sambar lacked flavour. The service though was great as usual - warm and kind. The other times weve eaten there have been fantastic! Hope you can keep up your standards during this challenging time. Wishing you the best.

First visit was for pickup due to lockdown - but the food was excellent- very flavorsome and good helping

Restaurant is old and outdated.Delicious food but very small servings for expensive price. For $22 you get a butter chicken curry that probably equates to 3 tablespoons of the food...literally! Afterwards when I asked the owner for the receipt of our meal, he quickly turned his back to increase the prices of 3 out of 8 items to match whatever he was telling me. Dodgy act! Why stoop so low for a few extra dollars more? Where is the moral principle here? We will eat Indian cuisines in a food court next time for half the price and theyre just as tasty.

Dosa and Idli with sambar taste authenic with lots of flavour the only downside is the price compared to the other places that sell Dosa and idli it is expensive almost double the price. Food taste good but price is a big factor you have to count in.

We came all the way from Penrith & had an amazing experience, truly felt like eating back home. Excellent customer service. We will be back again with family.

Firstly I asked the guy how big the portions are and he grabbed a bowl of curry from the people next to us with food still in the bowl and came to us and showed us. Secondly I Found hair in my rice and butter chicken over it. I poured at least half of the chicken and they only returned a bowl of rice with not extra chicken.Do not recommend!!!

Ive tried nearly every dish and they have all been spot on. You can request the spice level as then make everything fresh. The owner is there everyday running service and makes everyone feel very welcome.

My companion and I both had the vege thali for lunch. Many different tasting bowls made this a delicious and filling meal. We will definitely be making a special trip to come back here. The service was excellent and staff were friendly.

We usually visit this restaurant for last five years when we go for Movies in Westfield Liverpool. Really liked the food and staffs attitude. They are friendly. Chicken and Mutton biryani are my fav.

The chutney was horrible and Sambhar was bland why dont they cook fresh coconut chutney . The Aaloo panir paratha had hardly any spices.The flavours are just not there .What a shame for sn iconic Liverpoole restaurant.

This is a great Indian restaurant that is famous for its dosas. The other north indian style food served here is also excellent. Service was quick when we were there, and food was fresh. I highly recommend trying out the Woodland Dosa - it was fantastic.

Extremely rude customer service from what seemed like the owner. He publicly humiliated my dad in front of everyone at the restaurant just because he asked if he could use the toilet; my dad asked him twice over a period of 15 minutes and he was desperate to go and the owner kept saying that someone was in there. But after embarrassing my dad he goes and gets the key from the kitchen when its obvious theres only one door to the toilet and its right at the back which leads to the outside and no one came from there as we were sitting right next to it. He then proceeded to argue with my husband saying that my dad was rude...which we were confused about because my dad only asked him twice and the second time more urgently so as he was desperate, but he was never rude. He also was sarcastic to me when he told us to wait at the front for 5 minutes when there were rows of empty tables and couldve just asked us to grab a table or even apologised for the wait but instead he said out loud Im on the phone, i told you to wait!We only drank our mango lassi as it was served to us already and cancelled our food order and walked out.Do not recommend anyone coming here unless if you want to be embarrassed!

Food is nice, service is better than any other Indian restaurants. Only the problem is its distance. People living in Liverpool area does not have to worry about travel where as people living in the north of sydney and want to have a good south indian meal then they have to travel that far. But its worth travelling that far to have a nice food.

Very poor customer service. Misleading prices on website, they charge you more when you pick up the food. Upon mentioning the guy goes we are too busy to update the prices on website.

The food is good but I didnt like the way they ask you to hold on to your cutlery after having your Entree.....you wont get a new set.....it takes the edge off your dining experience there after all that money you spend on the food.

Lovely food, authentic and tasty, platters are always well presented, and i love how it is kid friendly.

I go to Woodlands regularly and always enjoy the friendly service and Indian cuisine. They do deliver, and I am always having dosa with a mango lassi.Eating in is best as dosas are crisp, fresh and a delight to eat when right off the hotplate.Over the years have eaten the idli, biryani, tandoori chicken and indian sweets and we keep coming back for more.Prices are reasonable and kids are welcome.

We just ate yesterday and the food was way below average. It was way too expensive for little bowl of curries which tasted like the paste was out of a can. Bhindhi tasted like it was frozen pack just mixed with the paste. All curries tasted the same. Seems like they used the same paste. There was only about 5 pieces of whole bhindi not even chopped properly. Im doubting those 5 star ratings.

The medhu vada was crisp done to perfection . Crisp outside and soft texture inside. The sambar , and red chutney was excellent . The filter coffee was superb. It took me back to my formative days in Singapore.

This place caused me food poisoning. It is not a great feeling to feel the way I am feeling right now. Please do something about it before your customers die from it.
