This is long overdue. By over a year even and thats completely on me and should not reflect on Raybo. I stayed here during September of 2019 after having ridden a bicycle alone across Spiti and into Leh. I was in a limbo state on that last day of riding as I entered civilization. I didnt want to. I had gotten so used to the wilderness that Leh town was deafeningly noisy. But once I entered Raybo, a little delirious myself, I was put at instant ease. Theres a calm and quiet atmosphere here. The check in process was absolutely smooth and did not let me think of anything in all my being lost. The dorms were absolutely clean and cozy. I enjoyed the hot water and washed off the road from me. But the real happiness came when out of habit, I wandered into their kitchen the next morning to make my special coffee. They were in their own hurry of making breakfast and yet, so politely, I was accommodated to make my coffee. Then onwards, we became buddies. Khyan who operates the place, Maddy who is the front and everyone else were just fantastic! I had a motorcycle trip planned from Leh with a friend who flew in and my extra luggage and bicycle were handled with so much love in my absence. If I could give them 10 stars, I definitely will and every visit back to Leh will have Raybo on my list. Thank you so much for making my first trip to the hills so damn smooth and memorable.

One day before my flight, my shoe from the shoe rack went missing. So you need to remove your shoes outside to be in the premises which is alright, but if my shoes arent safe outdoor why would you want me to? Put a warning sign there then and let people decide! I was told a dog might have taken and because that was my only pair of shoes + I had slip-ons to wear in hotel rooms wearing which I hunted entire field around and the housekeeper who cooked me omelette was of more help than the owner itself. The owner, Eshay, didnt take any initiative to help me , he was least bothered. I couldnt find my shoes and boarded my flight in my indoor slippers. Its their area, they are the localites and I am running here and there all by myself, no one even guide me with the places I should look into. (Except for a stranger who stayed there too helped me search, humanity). But from Raybo Hostel Management, No cooperation, no apology, nothing. I wouldnt recommend this hostel to anyone for their security issues, not only because of shoes,but it may be something kept in your room or locker and the owner is gonna be LEAST bothered if anything goes wrong with you. Think before you make a booking.

This is the best hostel you would find in Leh. The owner Mr Eshay is very polite and professional. The services offered are really good and the rates of the rooms are very decently priced. The beds are really comfortable. The food offered in the kitchen is very well priced and the customers can even take up the kitchen for a day for making their own food at Rs 100 per day. I think Raybo Hostel is much better than Hostel Lavie.

We really had good time here. We stayed for 7 days. The people over there were also friendly and polite. The rooms and toilets are well maintained. Just faced some problems with WiFi connectivity. Otherwise everything is fine there.

Probably the best backpackers hostel in Leh. Very economical, but cozy. Have running hot water for 24hours. A relaxed ambience where you can meet up with fellow travelers and make friends. Rooms and bath rooms are clean and tidy. Your bedroll is fresh. The lounge is a huge plus where you can chill out. The main street is just 500m away.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it is definitely a great hostel in Leh around 12 minutes walk from the main Leh bazaarThe host himself was not present and the property is being managed..They have an awesome space with a huge common sitting area, a kitchen which is well spaced out and quite cosy to sit and eat breakfast, a nice sitting area outside as wellWhere they perhaps lack is the shortage of staff to manage so many people especially when they even serve breakfast in morning and the staff really struggles to manage that.. Also felt they could have had a couple of more washrooms especially for those whose dorm do not have onesattached

Excellent place. Youll find people from many country. Its nice talk with them, know them, and cheer with them... coz its the world cup final.Other than that, facilities are good. Not the cheapest hostel around... But definitely a pretty good one.

There are 8 mix 4 mix 3 mix dorms and 2 double rooms. i have been staying at 3 mix dorm. the view from the dorm is simply amazing. comunal area is very nice. staff members are helpful. brandnew built hostel. if there were more bathrooms i would give 5 stars though. overall such a beautiful place. i would def stay here when i come back to leh again.

A great place for backpackers! The accommodation is decent at an affordable price. Moreover, you get to interact with different people who share similar interests.

This place is the best option you can opt for. Very friendly staff, beautiful place and you will want to stay for ever there. It is best for all be it solo, family or group traveler. I loved staying at this place, felt like I was at my own house. One must stay at Raybo if you are going to Leh. :)

Its a wonder how people even have rated this hostel over 2 stars..We booked a 8bed room, but got transferred to the 3bed instead. Sounds good, right? No. The 3bed is terrible. So much mess, trash and dirty walls. It seemed like the 3rd guy was living there, with his cornflakes and milk all over the place..The common bathrooms arent cleaned properly, the kitchen is a huge pile of mess, maybe they clean this once a week? The manager is never around! So dont expect any help from the reception, unless you wanna wait 15 min every time.This is aswell a huge biker place, because its close to the highway. We would suggest that you go for every other hostel/hotel/guesthouse than this one. And leave this for the bikers.

Great place to stay. Near to the market place. You can bring groceries and cook your food yourself. Helpful and friendly staff.

They said the place was closed and they are not taking new guests from booking.com and then gave us an inflated price offline

Good place to stay at and meet other travellers. Lovely ambience and bunkers are clean and tidy. Close proximity to market. Bikes are also available on rent to explore the place. Had a great time during my stay.

Very bad stay place. Attracts only naive foreigners. Nothing good about this place except cheap rent. Manager frustrated with owner. Owner not interested in Indian guests. Arrogant chap. Completely avoid if you are Indian traveller.

Rooms are maintained ok.Wash rooms are maintained poorly & also less in number.Not so great options in food.Ambience is just ok

Near to Leh main market, views of shanti stupa. Hostel was good, clean and everything neat. Budget stay, friendly staff.

Totally pathetic behaviour... The booking which we have done and they provide something different and than charged different for this and when escalate this matter than they are saying Indian peoples are poor and always create issue... And always giving warning that its a leh and its our areas we can do anything... Police is also in our hand ....totally bad experience.... I think they are just making fool to Indian people and taking money from them..

Just 10 minutes walking from the Lehs center this hostel is surrounded by green and have a spectacular view to the mountains. Clean rooms and the kind hosts make customer fell at home.

DAMNABLY DIRTY. ALL THE COMMON AREAS OVER ALL THE KITCHEN, REPUGNANT. The staff does not clean ANYTHING NOTHING. If you have a free bed in your room the staff does not hesitate to enter at any time of the morning turn on the light and speak loudly as if it were midday and for as long as it takes 5 minutes or 15 minutes, they to chat there in the middle of your room to negotiate the price of the stay as if it were a real estate agency. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom, but then it turns out that anybody could enter that room and my room became a passage area without any privacy in which people came to leave me the gift they left. As I said the common areas, main room and especially the kitchen, I insist VERY VERY DIRTY, although it is true that a large part of the fault is that the people who stayed there were real dirty people who did not know live with people but thats where they have to be responsible for the place to call attention, in my opinion. In the kitchen, it is assumed that you can not cook but there everyone did what they wanted and did not pick ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, NOR CLEANED THE DISHES THAT STOOD SINCE WEEKS AGO, NOR THE PANS THAT HAVE BEEN USED TO COOK, REPEAT REPEAT . The rooms are fine, with sufficient cleanliness, spaciousness, light. The facilities are good the problem is the human factor. This is my opinion. I can not hang all the photos of the disaster that was that because I lost my phone but I could recover one of the state of the kitchen.The facilities are correct and beautiful. The location is slightly remote but fine.

I went to the tour before and after the tour and paid for the tour, but after I went on the tour, I chased away the room. ㅋ It was a bucking.com error. I was lying and waiting for more than an hour.
