Went today at 7:58... the lady at the cashier told me really rudely « on est pas encore ouvert » yet the door and the entire grocery store is open. I had all my food and i was ready to pay, yet she is still telling me really rudely « on ouvre dans 2 minutes ». Then her younger co worker tells her that i’m there she says « i don’t care » she then waited and at exactly 8AM she was (again really rudely) : « passe-ici » no please, no thank you nothing.I do get that stores has opening and closing time for a reason. I don’t get why it’s so hard for her to tell me nicely that I need to wait until the opening time.No instead she wants to be a bitch and be rude.I always go there since they have my favorite cheese and i’ve never had a problem with the others employee. Now i’m gonna have to go to Montréal to get my cheese.I hope the management will see this and review the way their employees treat the clients.I was served by the older lady with blonde hair.Plus you should review your salads section since most of the salad are expired since the 16th...

I only go for the really Italian items I cant get anywhere else. The employees are nice the issue is not the service. But the produce is low quality, the managers mistreat their team in front of everyone, and the owner is not the kind of person I like to give my money to.

Dishonest business practices and poor food safety: labels altered and seals broken.I went to Intermarché Palumbo to pick up a few things and saw Manchego cheese on special. When I looked at the best before date, I realized that the bottom of the label had been cut off to remove the date. It was easy to tell because part of the lot number was still there on some of the labels and had obviously been cut through (I checked 5 or 6 packages and found they were all in the same state).I confirmed later at home that this was the section of label with the best before date by looking at a package of the same cheese I had purchased from another store.This is pretty dishonest - I cant obviously say the cheese was expired but its not a big leap to assume it was expired, and thats why it was on sale and why they removed the label.If this wasnt bad enough, while cutting the labels they also cut through the wrapping on the cheese (it is vacuum packed), so it was no longer sealed or protected from contamination. The wrapping had been cut through on each package I checked.Intermarché has been fined by the MAPAQ in the past for food safety issues, so perhaps this isnt surprising, but theres a real difference between passive infractions like not cleaning or a freezer case not being at the right temperature, and deliberately cutting labels off of (likely) expired food packages to make them salable and in the process making the food unsafe. Actually more unsafe, if it was expired it was already unsafe.Ill take my business elsewhere in the future. I dont deal with people who are willing to commit fraud and endanger public health in the process. This sort of reckless disregard is what causes disease outbreaks - and not just with the cheese since you can likely assume they treat all of their food with a similar lack of care.

Prices are very competitive...nice selection of cheeses...they carry burrata which is a plus...have ordered their roast veal from the butcher section for several occasions and the meat was always tender and good quality. The cashiers are very friendly and efficient.

I work at inter marche, and I can tell u its a good place to shop if you want quality Italian food.

I love Italian products and this is LA PLACE (the Intermarchés in general). Unfortunately, where the experience stops and is wasted, it is in the way things are arranged. The aisles are too narrow, it looks old and the smells are intense and too varied. It is not thus on the roof the places where there are the same types of products !!!Large parking lot.I like the way the crates are laid out. It allows us to pass quickly and the space is well ventilated.Good product.Good service.
