The sales people on the floor are nice however, delivery of anything can take months. Customer Service is disappointing and argumentative when you ask to speak to a manager. Not to mention the very disrespectful delivery (Samuel B) - calling the customer a B***h definitely does not inspire me to return to this store at all. They took off with my purchase as well so now it is held hostage. If it was not that I am still waiting for furniture purchased in April and it is the last day of July, already paid my monthly fees. I would return everything in a heartbeat. After years of being a faithful customer, The Brick, I am done with you. The deals are only good with conditions, dont be fooled.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Louise at Brick in Laval for being there and assisting us.Last Saturday, we went to Brick with intention of looking for a specific sofa style and with specific material for our basement, after a quick tour, we were leaving the store when Louise greeted us and inquired about our needs, we had already dealt with Louise in the past & let me just say we all sleep soundly every night. All this to say after being on the verge of leaving the store and Louise greeting us, in a min, she showed us a couple of models as per our requirements, one of them was a perfect fit. The Sales Associate in the Appliance section named Celeste C. was a pleasure to deal with. She provided us with excellent facts about the various dishwashers we were looking at, and was knowledgeable, personable and reasonable. Her efficiency was also appreciated. I would highly recommend anyone shopping for appliances at the Brick in Centre Laval on Boul le Corbusier to look her up.
While the salesman was nice, we later figured out it was just a routine he does with every customer. Once we paid for our furniture, we didnt hear back from Brick again. We had to call their customer service to get an update on our order which was supposed to be delivered almost a month before.While speaking with the customer service, they lied by saying that they sent us an email to warn us about the delays. I had to show them my inbox that contained the only email I received from them: the one confirming the order. They apologized and told us we would receive the furniture in September. Unacceptable considering we paid our order in full in April!The salesman also failed to mention the furniture had to be assembled in a mere 26 steps! You pay a premium price for IKEA quality furniture. Might as well just shop at IKEA for the same quality at a cheaper price.
Purchased items using the online chat feature with Jean Marie M. Very simple process, all of my questions were answered and I was sent copies of my bill with notes and the chat transcripts. Would definitely use the chat feature again.
Went to look at buying 3 appliances at this location. The appliance section looks like a liquidation warehouse. We wandering around looking for something that would fit our needs. Signage was poor, a mish mash of fridges crammed together. An unsightly mess. One salesman was serving this spot as the others standing around just talking dispersed into other areas. He looked at us once and thats it.A possible decent sale was forever lost. Will not return to this Brick.

If you want to purchase something from the brick, I suggest you go see JeanMarie or Frank. Two great sales representatives who follow up with their customers and their needs. I had many problems with the brick and JeanMarie always found a solution and was willing to do everything to fix the problem as fast as possible. Even remembers my name every time I walk in. Same goes for Frank, they both are there to meet the customers’ needs.

Never had problems with her i remodeled my house completely 3 times fluently with her. I even recommended her to friends and family members and i received 100% satisfaction words from them about her. If I could ZERO STARS, I would. I purchased a sectional in October and was promised that I would get it by Christmas. Only half the pieces arrived and one was damaged. I was told that I would receive the rest by June, then July, now August. Today I was told that there is no furniture in stock and they do not know when we will receive the rest of our order. So, we paid for 1/2 of our furniture that arrived DAMAGED. We want to return our sectional and get our money back but we were told that it was not possible. This feels like we got scammed and we will never see the rest of our furniture. I guess we will need to see THE BRICK IN COURT!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Please please, for the love of all thats holy, do not shop at the Brick. I spent close to 5000$ on 4 big pieces in May for a delivery date of July 2nd at the Laval location. Everything was confirmed. Found out on my own a few weeks later that one of the items was back ordered until end of August, had to cancel it. The manager at the store was of no help whatsoever. Triple confirmed everything else was on track for July 2nd. Moving day, no news from the store. Left 5 voicemails before I was able to reach someone, only to be told that two of my items will only be arriving to the store NEXT WEEK and the third item is in stock, but has not been scheduled for delivery. Was told I would get a call back after some verification on what happened with customer service, got no call back. Was unable to reach anyone for the next few hours, so showed up to the store to get answers. The salesperson Louise who sold me the items was too preoccupied with new customers to attempt to fix my issues. Store manager Jamal was rude, condescending and unprofessional. No ownership was taken, only justifications and excuses were thrown around. No help was provided, no solutions. Worst customer service experience of my entire life. Please, save your money, your time, and preserve your mental health. The Brick, I dont know what kind of training you provide to your employees, but please invest in some new material.

If I could give this store -5 stars I would.. I order a sectional couch and scheduled a delivery for Tuesday June 15th, I received a damaged article and was the wrong orientation of the L couch I refused the delivery because I did not want to be held responsible for it being left at my home. I went to the store because it was ridiculously hard to get them on the phone. Once at the store and expressed my unsatisfaction about the his issue the service manager told me she don’t have time to deal with my issue and walked away. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I complained to the floor manager and thankfully he found a rep who was able to some what help me and offered me a delivery for Thursday June 17th. Once the delivery men got to my place I inspected the couch, some minor damage was found but underneath the couch I figured it wasn’t that big of a deal.. once everything was said and done I was quality checking the movable headrest I found YET ANOTHER defect completely crooked and approximately 2inches of difference. So when calling the store to explain them the issue and completely fed up at this point I requested a refund and the receptionist refused and said “once it’s in your home we are no longerresponsible for the item and can’t offer you a refund” so now I’m stuck with a defective sectional that clearly had not had any quality control inspection. To top it all off I already lost 2 days of work because of this and now will be losing ANOTHER day of work so then can exchange it AGAIN!!!! I wonder who will be covering my lost income…This is unacceptable service and will definitely sending my complaints to the head office.

Brick in general and this specific store have the worst possible customer service. Do not buy from them. They messed up my delivery twice and made me wait at home like my time was worth nothing. Then they advised me that my item was available for in-store pick up when I had paid for delivery! Try calling to the store and press every option to see if someone answers you…. You won’t have any luck. Bad bad bad
What a horrible place to shop they’re never honest and never trusted staff and Manegment changing prices and they are laying they have no idea what Manegment is and they have no idea about how to be a sales manager or sales person everyone in this place is telling you different things they make you pay taxes first and than when time come for delivery they change price and make you stack with their non honest idea and this is wrong, if I could give them one star i will and I m in court with them now and very serious issues with billing and changes on the bills and they don’t except return and they don’t refund, this place should not exist for public at all never ever again I enter this place and I don’t recommend to anyone never ever !!!

It’s dood idea to review this policy, as well as the exchange and return policy, as it’s not allowed to exchange or return after purchasing!!( at.... we need to pay only 100$ to get free delivery and we can return an exchange anything )
Ordered a couch and paid in full in August, delivery date set for September 3rd. On Sept 1 use online chat to find out delivery time, since ether never answer the phone, and they informed me that the couch was on back order - won’t arrive until Sept 14. I had no communication from the local I ordered from, only found out because I called. Then on the 14 I spent the day trying to get through to the store but either was hung up on or put on endless hold. Used online chat to find out the couch is delayed again and won’t be available until October - still ZERO communication from the location about any of this. An email or a quick call to explain the situation and offer options would be proper customer service. Ask the online chat person to have the manager call me because this is unacceptable - we have no couch and they have had our money since August. The manager calls and is rude and uncaring about the situation, offers no solutions or apologies. Said the couch won’t be delivered until after October first and nothing they can do. First and last time shopping with this company, at least the head office was apologetic and understanding and fast tracked the refund. Went to Brault and Martineau had excellent service and a guaranteed delivery in two days.Do not shop here or give them your money.

Terrible, placed an order online showed as in stock, charged 900$ to my credit card. delivery day came no one called, called the store only to find out item is not on stock. Didnt give me a new delivery date. Sent 5 emails to both the store and form filled out online, havent heard back. Head office customer service number doesnt work, can just leave a message, website customer doesnt work. Doesnt open. Will never order from the brick again. Take your money so quickly and then when you question where the merchandise is and why you werent notified its not in stock they brush you off or dont respond to emails. When will I get my order!? I have already emailed [email protected] are you making sales if you cant fulfill orders and know customers will have to wait. Why cant you have the common courtesy to notify customers their orders wont be delivered despite giving them a delivery date? Cause you want the money thats why. Then we have to struggle or be patient cause of your greed. If only you replied to emails as quick as negative google reviews. I see your priorities.

Since 2009 and all our furnitures from brick my brother when he got married to my mom and my other brother and me never had any issue,in 23 June 2020 we went to buy living room and I bought with warranty and I wait till august to have it delivered so after one month the fabric become loose and looks like I have it from 3 years ago also when we sit the legs gonna slid and make noise and the sponge not firm as should be so I called them right away and told me send ya pictures and will send you a technician and the technician came and saw everything and he said it’s not normal after one month and I told him I have no kids no pet we are 3 adults so how come this happen he said nothing can be fixed it’s poor quality and gonna make his report then I should get answer from brick in 10 days I wait then called and told me we don’t have the report yet then I wait 10 days and went to the store no one was helpful and told me come and see the manager she will decide I went and met a lady told me she’s gonna speak with her manager and call me back no one call then I call the next day and they said well it’s normal the fabric to be loose and they can’t refund or exchange and I told her and explain that it’s not normal after one month and I wanna talk to the manager she puts me on hold then told me the manager is busy and gonna call me in few minutes and sure no one call,i also bought dining room and haven’t receive it yet but definitely I will cancel it ,I don’t want refund I want exchange but they don’t care they took the money I start the payment before having my items delivered so really don’t waste your moneyOne thing is good in this store is the sales man Franck he’s very professional and nice.

I am very disappointed in the service that i have had with the brick Corbusier Laval. I purchased my items end of October and was very specific on when i needed the items delivered. They called when my items were in stock and i told them i needed them in January. Come January they no longer had my items in stock and i am still waiting till this day to receive all my items. When making the purchase in October the salesperson pressured me in buying them on the spot to guarantee me having them by the date i wanted which clearly was untrue. They never answer the phones and are extremely rude and I even heard that they sold my stuff to someone else to make another sales and until today I’m missing my fridge and they delivered my washing machine scratch they scheduled 2 appointment and never called me to change the date and never show up I had to take 2 days off for nothing. Very disappointed on the service they are all rude and I Will never shop there again I rather pay more expansive than live an experience like that and on top of that I had to be in the middle of 2 rep that they were fighting for the sale very unprofessional.

Dishonest sales tactics to trick into making a sale.We had made a purchase on a Maytag fridge mid October 2020 and was promised by Jean-Marie that it would arrive by mid of November. But he said just in case, it would be by end of November at the latest. I have not received a call by end of November about delivery Dates, so I made the call to the customer service which they have yet to get back to me as of this review. Jean-Marie have not called me to let me know that they had disappointed me. So I had to make 2 visits to talk to them only to be told that the delivery date is for February 2021 and subject to more delays. If they had been honest from the first place, I would have gone to Best Buy to order in the first place and they even guaranteed 3 weeks. Alas, that 3 weeks delivery would have been good back in October, now it is December and everything is expected to come by April 2021.TLDR; Jean-Marie lied about the delivery date to make a sale only to not hold their end of the bargain.The Brick needs to review their slogan as that is also not true. Stick to buying from Best Buy, they truly care about customers and at the very least call their customers about any future delays unlike The Brick.

I was told by the CSR that they do not consider this damaged. Offered $40 cr!! sure doesnt cover the cost of my time! Last week I received the headboard ordered $700+. It had staples sticking out of it! Managed to get a store cr. Save yourself the stress. Go elsewhere.
