Pretty good and standard sushi shop when you are at the mall. The wasabi was non spicy at all when you eat it. If you want to get a quick fix of sushi, this is an option. As for the service, it was quick and pleasant.

Honestly....its 19h25 on a Wednesday night ....I come in to order sushi a la carte , there is two people working, as soon as the guy sees me taking the menu he looks at me and mumble something, I ask him to repeat and he tells me all embarrassed...we only do poke at this time ....Honestly just stay close...give your spot to someone else like yuzu sushi, they never stopped working all through covid . I use to come to ryu every week ....First time I come back cause you just reopened and you dont even do sushi .

For the price you pay, its bloody overpriced. The quality is not bad (as in average), but holy, its so expensive! I thought the bowl $15 CAD poke bowl would be fairly big but NO, it was small.Its just trendy for young girls. I doubt if they can be full. The whole idea of eating *organic* and end up getting other food outside is so pathetic.

The service is great, very nice and clean place as well. I enjoyed the food but the rice was a bit too sweet. I would come back though! They do delivery too.

Clean and nice decor and Im sure that they have to pay a fortune to lease the space in Carrefour Laval, but the food can be summed up in one word for me Meh. The salmon Poke bowl for $15 CDN was not a great value at all. Especially in the jam packed food court at Carrefour Laval.

Nice restaurant! I tried the Ramen tonkotsu and it was delicious. The service was fast. Its a really good place for a quick bite with good quality food.

Sad excuse for ramen, high price aside. The tan tan tastes like pure salt ( no spicy sesame taste ) , the “thick noodles” are the same thin ones you get in $1 ramen packs, the broth is from a package and not even good and they hardly give you any , the chicken was dry and the pork was not the type you usually get in ramen or as advertised in the picture . And you need to go next door to get a bowl if you don’t want them using plastic . Maybe the tofu with bone /vege broth would be better (never had it there) but still don’t think it would be worth it. Also the sushi is very basic and overpriced and not like the original high quality ryu resto before they became a chain.

This place clearly knows how to please their clients. Always with a nice demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, regularly delicious and neat.

Loved the fresh ingredients and items. Cashier was friendly and helpful, she took the time to explain us the process. Only negative is that they ran out of Tuna so we substituted for something else. Dressing was AMAZING. Expect a line up.

Soooo disappointing! The first time I ate here, I had a poke bowl. Probably one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. It was floating in liquid. I decided to give it a second chance and had the sushi another night. Super expensive, rice was super sweet and quality of fish was less than average. If you like good quality sushi please do not go here.

TERRIBLE food. This is my first and probably only food review I will ever make. But I am beyond unhappy with the food quality. They charged $50 , FIFTY dollars for a terrible lunch. The sushi is falling apart, soggy and way too sweet. The fish is cheap for $50. The seaweed salad in served in a paper bowl and taste packaged and old. I didnt even eat my lunch, it was even too terrible for the garbage. I regret this place and definitely do not recommend it. Never been so unsatisfied. If you dont do sushi well, dont do it at all. And definitely dont charge $50!

Horrible, expensive, tasteless and mushy. Some of the worse sushi Ive ever had. Youre literally better off throwing your money in the trash can then eating here. Its that bad!! Save your money and go elsewhere...

One of the worst sushi place Ive ever been. I used to enjoy Ryu sushi in downtown locations. This place in laval has the same title Ryu with expensive price for food court but horrible quality. Very discouraging to go other ryu in downtown anymore. I was very impressed how thinly they can slice the rolls like paper.

They close 30 mins before the actual closing hour. They served us 3 times pokebols without any sauce, another and time it was like they dropped the sauce in it and they once didnt even give us the extra salmon we paid for! Terrible service. We used to go there once a week. You lost good customers and we wont recommend this restaurant anymore. I am sorry, but very unhappy customers and for several times now.

Got a pretty bad experience today at Ryu Carrefour Laval. My order was completely messed up, ordered 2 ramen with chicken and 1 pork, got all 3 chicken. One ramen - no egg inside. Chicken teryaki chewy and cold. And to make it worse, tables upstaires dirty and no napkings to clean it myself. Question: why am I asked to leave tips at the cashier when I am just placing my order?

My ramen was cold, the pork was grey and like leather. I asked if they could replace the pork which they did with cold dry chicken. I was told the chicken would be dry as well, so they gave me a bowl of old cold tempura sweet potatoes on the house.. lol. The staff then ate their dinner beside us. I wonder if theirs was old and cold too ...

Overall, Its alright. Staff is friendly. Sushis were okay, although they came with no wasabi whatsoever, disappointing. The vege pokebowl is expensive for what you get and the mangos were definitely not ripe.

Too commercial, its the sushi McDonalds, little neat, when we arrived all the tables were dirty and all the employees were gathered in a corner of the shop. It is a self-service where you have to pay a tip.

Cheap ingredients. For the prices they charge this restaurant should offer better quality. I ordered a ramen and my expectations were high. It was completely disappointing. I was expecting good tasting ramen noodles. Instead the noodles they use are no different from a Maruchan soup. The rest of the seasoning was just fine.

Great sushi! Not too much rice and very flavorful. The Hatori Hanzo roll is top notch and the bowls are delicious.

Rice is dry and sometimes uncooked. Avocado not ripe. Ramen soup has nothing to do with ramen... their price is the only thing they have close to a sushi restaurant.

It had been a long time since I had had a service of this kind.20 min to wait for an order to realize that they gave it to another person.No excuse and they tell me that I am not understanding because I find it long.The girl at the counter was arrogant and totally disrespectful.Finally I never had my order because after all that, she found the sandwich that dragged on the counter for 10 minutes and made cold.She told me she could warm it up ... WoWI asked to be reimbursed and the girl ignored me as if throwing nothing.

Sorry but back in Quebec we went luncheon to that of Carrefour Laval but the changes are surely in all the branches of Ryu ... quality of algae leaves has been changed (the more crispy as before very difficult to chew one in finished over). Maki shrimp tempura smaller than before but if the quality there was it would be correct!

Its good, BUT the price does not go with the quantity. For a poke bowl, the portion of salmon is minimal when you see the price $ 17 and I took a shrimp wrap, there was a shrimp in for $ 16! You can eat better elsewhere at this price.

Nice welcome. My first visit to this place.Very good poke and good portion.Place seems more respectful, than average, of the environment.Less noise than in the huge central part. Very pleasant.We take the time to cook up the food. 😊

I will eat at this place a few times a year while shopping at Carrefour Laval. Portions have decreased dramatically in the poke bowl that was my favorite, but the dish is still the same price. for $ 17 with this small portion, I recommend going somewhere else. They have reduced bowls and portions are not generous and lack of protein and vegetables. You will be hungry after this portion. A lot of rice but the rest is pretty thin. Comparatively before it is day and night, too big before and now too much min. We will not go because the price quality is not present.

We had no great expectations but ultimately we were surprised by the quality and the flavors of the sushi. Tables to eat on site, which is a plus because the food fair is often filled.The only reason why I put 3 instead of 4 is the location of the takeout counter. The cash register line is right in front of which makes the fridge almost inaccessible.

The Ramen soups are excellent, I highly recommend anything with pork, the taste is perfect.
