Expensive and posh-looking, but not too good. Everything tastes normal and okay not exceptional. The cakes and biscuits are fine, the hot chocolate is a bit watery too. Isn’t worth the cost. No value for money paid.

Hands down one of my favorite spots in Calicut. Probably a great place to grab a coffee and a chat. Great atmosphere, good food, friendly people, quick wifi, and plenty of space for all the people that are guaranteed to be here at any given moment. Love it! The place where I spend most of my time, either with friends, business meet or with myself. Their ambience and services are really good. Good music, comfortable chairs, can sit and work for hours. Coming to their menu - I love their frappe, peanut Oreo shake is a must try! Their pastries are yummy too - try tender coconut cake and fudge slice with chocolate sauce! Try their steaks and seasonal salads too. Having good parking space. Overall highly recommended !

After about 9 months I visited HiLITE Mall and the visit turned out to be more lovely than I expected. There were lot more brands that have opened up now. Not just that, looking at the crowd really was energizing after being isolated for so long. Hug a Mugs new outlet was just amazing, enjoyed my favourite cappuccino and their Blueberry cheesecake was to die for. Guys! You really have to try their cheesecakes!

Nice vibe and ambience...good for late night visits...the cost of dishes are little bit high...but when we consider the ambience at late night, its ok to pay for that too, some drinks are not upto the level..and the service is also good except little late issues

Star added for the menu and a star for the food.Stars deducted for poor service late night - unprofessional staff with upto half hour delays on taking orders, another 30 minutes to serve it. Often theres noone at the counter. Youll be driven out if you enter during the cleaning hours, thats 5-6 am. Not what youd expect from a café at such a locality.Drinks- Few of them come with coconut milk instead of regular milk (which may be a turn off to some), make sure to check the descriptions prior to ordering.I prefer the caramel 🍩 to the chocolate, YMMV.Everything is generally a tad overpriced.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!I would never recommend hug a mug for a birthday party ever again. Conducted a function on dec11 and they ruined everything including the cake which we ordered from them, it was bland and hard as rock.Had issue with AC aswell, it was not working at all.Of course, I can understand problems can happen at anytime but it is their responsibility either to taken care of it or let the customer know about it before the function starts. The service was poor we somehow cut the cake and ran away from the cafe with no intention of coming back.

The most important thing is that its 24/7 . Chocolate fudge slice and chocolate bar is a must try... The banana cake is also good. Another best thing of hug mug it have clean and big bathroom even though its just one. To be honest I think the coffee and beverage is a bit higher on the rates

We visited Hugamug before venom Movie.Its out of our expectation! Coffees are so nice and they did not use powder to make hot chocolate! It makes chocolate with bitter and with original flavor!My friend is allergic on cinnamon, coconut and almond! Thats why we are careful to pick the stuff! The staff knew our difficulties and they explained in details! We picked original brownies and the texture is so rich!We will be back in the next time! :) everything is so nice...thanks
