Guys dont order for food from salkara . i have ordered for 3 sadhya and promised me to deliver food by 12.30 and time become 1:30 still not delivered the food and not picking their phone i went there and food was not prepared and its a disaster irresponsible and i manage to get three and for 3 sadhya have packing only for one . frauds one sadhya cost 190 which worth for 60 rs meals . guys never do order from there bloody cheats spolied my day.

The opportunity to have meals or biriyani from the hotel is the main reason why I always opt for the afternoon Janshatabdi instead of the morning one!Its a bit costlier than the other options but is worth every penny you pay. Limited Menu for a hotel that is inside the railway station. Price are reasonable. Taste is ok. Only for people who are in a hurry and for people who would like to parcel their food to have it in train. The quantity and taste could have been better.

One of the few hotels who serve good and tasty food. Staff are very co-operative. Parcel service is also available. One of their branch is located in railway station but has less food options compared to their other two branches in the city. This might be due to they are catering people who are in urgency of travel. It is the sister concern of famous Paragon hotel group.

Poor quality breakfast. Idiyappam egg curry made by Bengali. A typical example of how NOT to make an authentic Kerala dish by an outsider. Idiyappam was like a plastic appam. These people are trying to cheat floating customers by using their name.

Very bad restaurant. Myself and my family got stomach trouble after eating from here. Both serving staff and counter staff are arrogant. Food is not that great. The prices are on the higher side for the quantity and the quality. They are spoiling the name of Paragon/Salakara chain of hotels. There are some particular waiters who are not so attentive and you will have to wait for long for the order to be served. I have seen many of the people leaving from the table he is serving. Space inside is insufficient. It will be difficult to keep your luggages.

My first time at a Paragon managed outlet since I left Dubai. Was a regular there.Just had chicken biriyani from Salkara at the Calicut Railway station and the chicken in it was not freshly cooked. It felt and tasted like something cooked atleast a day before.

Just an average biryani that sells only because of the brand name. Decided to try it because of all the hype. Totally not worth the 190 rs they charge for a chicken biryani. Id prefer the fish curry meals over the biryani. Fish curry was tasty and had a decent quantity. Also comes with payasam. The counter syaff was arrogant even though there was no rush at all when I purchased.

I tried to book a meal through IRCTC but there was no service when train reached the station around 8:30pm, when I contact the hotel land line number from Google map they arranged delivery in coach appreciating their prompt service.
